What you say here is irrelevant. Importance is a human concept yes, but that does not change the fact that we are no more important than other species. Without the notion of importance we simply are like any other species. With the "importance" concept we are no more important than any other species. So with or without the human concept of "importance" all things are still equal. No, we are not doing okay. We are damaging the earth's environment, just one button away from nuclear devastation, and too dependent on dwindling natural resources. That is okay, I forgive you.

But how much in Bioware since it was Bioware who foot the bill of production?

Why the hell should how much a game sales matter to us anyway? Are we Bioware employees? No. Do we have a vested and financial interest in JE? No. A game is either fun to play or not fun to play, and bottomline if we are just game players that is what matters most.

Well, I haven't messed with Arcanum's but Neverwinter Nights is the easiest of the two that I have used though not as powerful as Morrowind's. You could easily do a small village, with basic dialog and transitions in less than a hour or two.

If I remember right from science, radiation breaks down the connection strands of our DNA thus disintegrating us on a cellular level which can also lead to abnormal mitosis (cancer) that can kill us. In order for a species to develop radiation resistance it would need a tighter more durable genetic spiral than humans currently have.

I don't think that human life is worthless. I just think that human beings are just full of themselves, and that the majority believes that they are better than all other species on the planet. A human life is important, but no more important than any other species' life.

Hmmm... I don't think of J.E. Sawyer and worse or any better for being a part of those two groups. WOuld have liked to play those games but they are the past and cancelled, and therefore irrelevant. In any case I vehemently opposed J.E.'s reasoning to place Grenade use with the melee skill. You just don't use Grenades in melee. Its a good way to lose an arm.

Fable is a good romp of a game but its not something you can take seriously like JE or KotOR. In many ways it kind of makes fun of the genre but think on this. You have a PC and you get a game that is worse than what you think of Fable. You spent $50 on it and now you can't take it back and even if you did you are stuck to get only a new copy of the same game. On a console you could take the game back and at least get some of your money back.

I don't know about you guys but I can tolerate a great deal of things, after all I grew up in Boone. In any case human tolerances are fluidic and adaptive. Such as take a person from southern California and place him in the middle of -20 below Iowan winter. He will be a walking like a sumo with all the overcoats he would be wearing. Me, I would be wearing a light jacket.

FIrst, the customer base of Neverwinter Nights is much larger. There are a lot more people with PCs than X Boxes, you know. Also NWN has the DnD franchise to back it up, thusly it will sell more. Jade Empire had a smaller audience and no franchises and licenses to bring people in so naturally it would sell less. Only an idiot would expect JE to sell better than NWN on initial and overall sales.

Wrong. It was developed concurrently. Being ported means that they designed it first on one system they remake the game from the start on a new system. KotOR 1 and 2 were made concurrently and not ported over. Halo and Fable were first made on the console and then converted to the PC. See the difference?

But Jade Empire isn't the usual Bioware game. It is a single platform brand spanking new intellectual property console RPG.
