  1. Well, the game does have a few issues but then what game doesn't.
  2. I just like walking around, taking in the scenery, run away from werewolves, blast something with a fireball, rest at an inn and get some random quest, kill a few folk, have some bugger interrupt my sleep telling me to join some assassin's guild, go naked in someguys dream, avoid traps, piss off guards, and well kill a few more things.
  3. If I was going to bash the game I might as well play it.
  4. What I like to see is a sandbox game that has a strong main quest story. So far I have done about 2 dozen quests just traveling, normal traveling, from one city to another.
  5. Neither is Bioware but their hubris and fanbois tell them otherwise.
  6. Bioware didn't become relevant til Baldur's Gate was released anyway.
  7. DAMMIT! I DO EXIST! I want my 200 hour single player DnD game that takes me from level 1 to level 8!
  8. We both are in the 30 something and wanting long games demographic, Ellester. Eldar, I am hardly a speed demon in games. I have spent 400 hours on Morrowind and haven't finished the main quest and more than 25 hours on Oblivion and closed only 2 Oblivion gates, with only one dealing with the main quest. r00fles.
  9. It was for the PC, wasn't it?
  10. I strive to maintain a certain continuity.
  11. There is a lot of worthless filler in the FF games.
  12. Here is an idea. Obsidian can give me a copy of the near finished game. I play it from beginning to end, and report how long that took me. They then up it 25% and that should be the total playing time of the average gamer. Everybody wins!
  13. Good 40 to 60 hours.
  14. That is assuming Atari lets them patch it.
  15. You do have a point there. Anything that the RPG Codex puts out needs to be... well... ignored.
  16. That is definitely an attitude I can very much respect and appreciate.
  17. ps3

  18. It is silly to not have a ranger and druid in your party in a IWD game.
  19. ps3

    We already know this.
  20. There wasn't much to explore in IWD 2. It was a pretty straight forward and linear game. Fallout 1 was a lot more open than IWD2. I also liked Fallout 1 a lot more than IWD 2 so I spent more time on it to explore every crack, nook, and cranny.
  21. Then don't guess or give estimates. Simple, eh?
  22. I played Fallout 1 for 60 hours on my first play through. I did a lot of exploring.
  23. Never heard of Boiling Point, is it a CRPG?
