  1. Like I said, bad design. There was different rules for the NPCs and PCs and that is just bad and asshat design on Troika's part.
  2. Nines fought and killed his. There have been plenty of games that I have played in the past that NPCs told me to run, but I stayed and fought and won the encounter.
  3. It was combat, not a puzzle. When a creature is directly attacking you it is not a puzzle.
  4. Those should be options yes, but so should a direct fight between the character and the werewolf. Werewolves are not indestructable, plain and simple.
  5. Blizzard has yet made a game that I like.
  6. Yeah, he could have went to that crapfested company, Blizzard.
  7. That was a bad design because as a gamer I know werewolves are not indestructable in the White Wolf game. No creature that can get into direct combat with the player should be indestructable by any weapon the player has. Sure it can be tough as nails but not indestructable. Through otu the enitre game not once was there a foe that couldn't be hurt so that created a certain level of expectations. I expected to be able to harm the werewolf. I expected it to be a very very very tough fight as it should, but Troika's bad design made it indestructable. It wasn't the stupidity of the player who crafted his character to be a tank then set him against a foe that can't be hurt, but the designers. If the werewolf was to be an indestructable foe then Nines shouldn't have killed his without using the environment, which it looked like he didn't. Rules for the PCs and NPCs need to be on equal ground, otherwise it is just crappy design. The Werewolf of Bloodlines was stupidity of the designers, plain and simple. As Alanschu put it. That werewolf fits that to a T.
  8. Well, that is a bit of extreme there, but there needs to be a clue of an item's importance. Such as the name Amulet of Kings makes it sound important. However it was simply named ruby amulet it is fodder for the merchant to sell so I can get better armor.
  9. Of course some of the troika peeps migrated to Obsidian. ANway, I am sure Ferret will be fine at Bioware. He just needs to be careful with Woo. I think he has anger management issues for he can hold a grudge for a very very very very very very very very very very long time.
  10. Unbreakable in normal gameplay, but not to player stupidity. If you are going to be stupid, live and die with the consequences.
  11. I don't really need to know, Craigboy2's sexual preference. NOT LISTENING!
  12. Players that need their hands held while playing a CRPG should not be playing a CRPG.
  13. Why? Sure I am a fan of Ferret's work but I am also a fan of Sawyer and Avellone but that doesn't mean I go and stalk them, trying to figure out their daily affairs. That is just nonsense. The where, how, and why is ultimately not my business to know and if I come acros it on accident then yay for me but unlike most people who are fans of celebrities or recognized names I respect their privacy.
  14. 20 hour CRPG, eh? Sucks royally.
  15. Neither. That would be a STUPID MOVE OF THE PLAYER.
  16. You aren't very imaginative with your insults, boy.
  17. People take different jobs all the time. Switch companies and the such. If they want to tell us they will but in all honesty its none of our goddamn business what they do.
  18. Yes, but you also need psychological help.
  19. That last one sounds like a glitch. I never had that happen to me.
  20. I am surprise anyone takes me seriously when I don't take myself seriously..
  21. WTF, mate.
  22. Here's hoping Ferret can teach Gaider a thing or two. I like Gaider, but Woo can sure hold a grudge.
  23. Open ended is a better term unless you are far too PC for your own good and see it as a derogatory term for homosexuality.
