I am disappointed in you . . . Stereotyping the average teenage girl? Niiiice.

"I want to see some real living, pure alien sith running about using sith alchemy . . . " Sorry, I was referring to this statement.

What's the last of the planets going to be?
Errantry replied to Darth_Gandalf's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
It would definitely be interesting, wouldn't it, though? Mr. Big 'n Bad suddenly turning out to be a female behind that mask? -
If you really want to see skirmishes with massive numbers of aliens, then you may want to try a different game. Such as Halo. Or you can watch Aliens vs. Predators. There is no reason to complain about the lack of alien Sith - it was mentioned, even -in the game-, that true Sith had died out long before you as a character were running around in the SW universe.

There would be no purpose in adding Bastila to the NPC roster. For one, you had the option of killing her on the Star Forge. There would be no way she survived you destroying the entire place. As another point, the rest of you seem to forget that occasionally females play the game. Having Revan and Bastila together would not work, as there was no romance with her if you played as a woman.

I said the Emperor was the greatest. Remember, the Star Wars universe would hardly exist without the movies. And Sidious was by far the greatest Sith Lord in the movies.

Errantry replied to Darth_Gandalf's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Of course, a woman -could- be the Sith Lord. They definitely don't look like a Marauder, though. In all fairness, I would go with Ivan's list, since it seems the most likely. -
So, who's going to get the game for the PC?
Errantry replied to ampulator00's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I'll be getting the PC version, namely because of the erstwhile stated reason - a lack of Xboxiness. -
There was a -lot- of hack 'n slash in T3, though. I personally didn't like it an incredible amount, but it was decent. My favorite movie of 04 would be The Incredibles, simply because I had read a few of the novels similar to it, and they were impressive.

The only (somewhat) notable person I have met was George Bush's driver when Bush was in Wisconsin. Except Bush probably switches drivers quite a bit, so it really isn't notable at all.

Personally, I don't really care what they do to the rules system, so long as they create a good game. *shrugs*. Maybe it would 'ruin the game', but I'll wait until the game is actually -out- before I press judgement on it, thanks.

I usually don't use a name at all; just "the Revisionist". Because I 'fix' things I don't like. *cracks knuckles*. Actually, it refers to the fact I mess around with the programming of games quite a lot. By the way, isn't the movement called 'Zionism'?

Servant of Eru - The number of total people voting has been falling, though. Most people are beginning to realize they have little to no choice in who is elected as President. The oh-so-superior Electoral College decides that.

I get to begin my first year of high school at Hamilton. Maybe then I can have a better start with some of my teachers . . . Last Year's Report Card A (Communication Arts, Honors) A (Adv. Science, Honors) A (Social Studies & World History) A (Advanced Concepts of Algebra) A (Art) A (Physical Education) A (Technology Education) A (Content Enhancement, Social Studies) C+ (Career Path Exploration) The dislike was mutual with that last teacher. I personally thought "Career Path Exploration" was not necessary in eighth grade. Of course, the plus- (or down-) side is that there are only four classes each semester in high school, more lunch time and passing time, and classroom 'arguments' that are called 'debates' to make us feel better.

Sugrob, I already stated that those "people sitting at the conference table" started the wars. Perhaps you should read my post more carefully. And by 'we', it is grammatically use that term in reference to a species one is related to directly. As a final thought to add to yours, power in itself is only an illusion, created by the minds of people universally. Power can be distinguished by money, fame, or influence; however, it is power if it can be used to control a person or people. So thank you, for giving me something to think about, as well.

And because I feel my previous post was far too long, I'll add that I quite like Russia, though there are some aspects of it that are far from desirable.

"Throughout human history this cycle has never ended. Why should I pretend that it has now. Even without politics people have been finding reason to kill each other since before recorded history. It's not about hate but it is us against them. If you can not coexist peacfully in the end it will mean war. Diplomacy has it's place but when it fails raining death and destruction is the order of the day." This logic is not quite sound, though it can appear to be. Humans -could- exist peacefully in this world; it is our choice that we don't. Many species of animals considered inferior in intellect can coexist without attempting to conquer one another. It is the human emotions cause the killing, because the majority of homocide is committed because of hatred, often blind. Humans are technically all one race, and thus one species, due to the lack of genetic differences. Any idea of human genocide is not possible, unless the entire race is wiped out. Again, technically, there is no "us", and there is no "them". In war, most people are not seen as individuals, who each have their own life and beliefs, but as an entire region. I do not disagree with the fact that if a species cannot coexist peacefully, then it will commit war. However, in regard to the last sentence, my feelings are different. How are wars ended, if not by the people sitting at the conference table? All they really do is persuade the diplomats which country is stronger in brute force, and the stronger can rule over the weaker, then. The worldly rule that "the strongest survives", does not apply to humans, and that has already been said numerous times in history. Diplomats have their place in wars. It is they who start them, voluntarily or no, and they end them, making them effectively the most powerful people that exist.

One of the Romanians -was- only 13 or 14, I heard. Of course, they have to neglect schooling to get good enough to participate in the Olympics. I'm not quite sure thirty seconds of fame is worth the beating your body takes and the utter disuse of the superior human organ.

Jabba the Hutt vs. Dark Helmet from Spaceballs. I can imagine it now . . .

Sadly, I live in the United States of Morons. To be specific, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Actually, to be even more specific, I was born in Milwaukee, go to school in Sussex, spend half my year in Michigan, and spend a quarter of the other half in Racine and Madison. I was -so- hoping to move to Wales, though . . .

Aw, what's not to love about such an adorable little piece of metal? T-3, definitely. Did you see what his intelligence stat was? A good deal higher than anyone else's. It makes up for the lack of physical attributes.

Alignment visuals and NPC conversations
Errantry replied to Dynas-T's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
It was mentioned that the game would focus more on master-apprentice relationships, though the devs never mentioned how much. -
Trust me, it wasn't worth it. He didn't even scream well.

The only person I want back is HK-47, actually. I rather despised everyone else, and the novelty of a completely irredeemable droid who was completely loyal to you no matter what your alignment, agreed with me. That, the fact that he had such original dialog options, and was more intelligent than most my other party members, definitely makes me want to see him in KotOR: TSL

Maybe Yoda's species are allergic to the dark side. Anyway, I chose Zabrak, because I would -love- to see an evil one that got turned into a goody-two-shoes by my character.
