I may just be miscounting my time played or am not really entering the final act. Or both.

Got up early this morning and put two hours in Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. I'm just afraid this is going to be very short. Feels like I'm entering the final act after only about 4 or 5 hours.

My backlog is growing again! Just started Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and am committed to playing it. But I also recently started Kingdom Hearts 1.5+2.5. And am still playing God Eater: Resurrection. I'm supposed to be finishing up Dies Irae and Muv-Luv Alternative comes out in a handful of weeks.

Not exactly getting hyped. I don't feel that trailer told us much other than we're apparently going to go through a mountain pass.

I had a date today. It went well. I didn't get stabbed.

schadenfreude? Nah, that's enjoying another's misery. This is more like the opposite of that.

Is there a word for "paranoia brought about by positive events?" Asking for a friend.

I feel like I might be nearing the end of Prey. Only a couple areas remain locked off from me and between Psychic Water and my neuromods I can use Psychoshock III with near abandon.

The world of online dating is going out of it's way to mess with all my expectations. In a good way. It's very suspicious. I'm being vague because I'm putting the world on notice. I'm on to you.

I just hit Arboretum. Still seems the same. Why would you ever not take human stuff? I can understand not taking Typhon stuff if you're worried about unfriendly turrets, but I don't see any drawback in taking human.

Still not quite feeling Prey, but I'm chugging through it. I'm cheating resources to give me lots of neuromods though, which works for me. This progression system gives me absolutely no clue as to what I can expect to be able to hit through normal play, so I'm trying to grab all the stuff that's interesting now. I think my main problem is there has been absolutely no big hooks in the game so far. Nothing I've seen has amazed me. No great characters, no breathtaking vistas, no fun fights, even the interesting powers all seem like something I'd get very limited use out of. Maybe mindjacking will be useful, we'll see. God Eater Resurrection is getting kind of stale too because the introduction of new monsters is slowing down considerably. But it's easy enough to get into that I keep going back to it over Prey most of the time.

So I mentioned before that I'm trying out this online dating thing. Well, it wasn't going so well. No responses, no matches, meh. So I completely redid the profile, even got a new haircut, new pictures. And 48 hours later, OKC is telling me that it's putting me in their attractive people database. Apparently they split the database in two depending on how many likes and profile views you get. I'm going in the good half where my matches will mostly be pulling from other beautiful people like moi. I think they're overselling me in that case, or maybe just trying to prevent me from being king of the uggos and ruling with an iron fist. In other news, I had to cut my jog short today when I made room for two girls who insisted on walking shoulder to shoulder as I passed. My leg went off the edge of the sidewalk onto the curb which was only a slight height difference, the weight shifted, and the ankle went sideways. It only hurt for a little while, but I'm taking it easy tonight.

The suicide rate is generally understood to correlate with lack of social support in their case. When the people around them, including family, friends, neighbors, are hostile and discriminatory, that's where a great deal of it originates. Now, progressives are not exactly a a shining beacon of acceptance for transgender issues, regrettably, but they certainly don't have as far to go as conservatives.

I just blew about $80 on playing cards. I forgot I even had this weakness! Two are pre-marked decks and ones a stripper deck. And then some decks that simply looked pretty. And I might mark up one of my bicycle decks when I get home. Never done it before, but now's the time to try.

I think it's fantastic, with a far too short final chapter. Hopefully the DLC rectifies that.

She's probably been the most popular "___ Marvel" at Marvel for some time. About time she got the promotion. It really seemed like the only reason Marvel had the previous Captain Marvels was to keep DC from using it for Shazam

It feels like everyone in the world loved it but me. I thought the animations were even worse than Telltale games and that bugged from the first episode. Everyone seemed so robotic. And as a fan of time travel stories, the ending was a complete letdown. Edit: To be fair, I have to give it credit for keeping me optimistic until that point.

Dies Irae, I'm on the Kei route now. It's probably better than average for a VN, but I keep wanting to just rush through it. Prey, I'm making slow but steady progress. I haven't gotten to the point where alien powers show up yet, I wonder how long it'll be until then. God Eater Resurrection. Probably the game that's easiest to lose myself in. If I didn't feel obligated to finish the other two first it'd be the only one I was playing right now.

I want to see more of Tyranny's world. And I'm always up for Space Opera.

I'm saying it's not particularly doing action or horror well. I'm not really sure what it's trying to do. And thriller just doesn't fit by my definition of thriller. I'm with you on the story being compelling, that's the only thing that gets me to come back right now. Basically every room I enter at this point, I just know I'm going to be fighting against 2+ mimics. And they're going to give up pretending to be an object almost the moment I enter the room. So I'm not sure what the point was. The item mimic, however, that was pretty neat. That got a good jump out of me. And one mimic that waited until I left a room, even though I wrenched it on my way in. That had to be scripted.

I had to drop Prey from Hard to Normal. I wanted to have to watch my resources, not savescum every fight. And the gameplay still isn't quite hooking me. It's almost too jumpy to be a great action game, but with way too many fights for the kind of tension I want from horror. But at least I have guns now. So that's good. I'm getting into God Eater Resurrection more. It's just kind of nice to beat up on monsters. There's not much else to say about it.
