I think it's fantastic, with a far too short final chapter. Hopefully the DLC rectifies that.

Your steamcommunity custom url. Like mine: http://steamcommunity.com/id/tale You can actually change it when editing your profile.

Honestly, it looked like a rich dude that likes blowing his money on junk. Though I do have the id/Tale url and the groups/EVIL one. He actually said he'd be willing to mail me cash. But then I decided I'd rather keep them.

A guy just offered to mail me $1,000 dollars for my steam url.

She's probably been the most popular "___ Marvel" at Marvel for some time. About time she got the promotion. It really seemed like the only reason Marvel had the previous Captain Marvels was to keep DC from using it for Shazam

It feels like everyone in the world loved it but me. I thought the animations were even worse than Telltale games and that bugged from the first episode. Everyone seemed so robotic. And as a fan of time travel stories, the ending was a complete letdown. Edit: To be fair, I have to give it credit for keeping me optimistic until that point.

Dies Irae, I'm on the Kei route now. It's probably better than average for a VN, but I keep wanting to just rush through it. Prey, I'm making slow but steady progress. I haven't gotten to the point where alien powers show up yet, I wonder how long it'll be until then. God Eater Resurrection. Probably the game that's easiest to lose myself in. If I didn't feel obligated to finish the other two first it'd be the only one I was playing right now.

I'm saying it's not particularly doing action or horror well. I'm not really sure what it's trying to do. And thriller just doesn't fit by my definition of thriller. I'm with you on the story being compelling, that's the only thing that gets me to come back right now. Basically every room I enter at this point, I just know I'm going to be fighting against 2+ mimics. And they're going to give up pretending to be an object almost the moment I enter the room. So I'm not sure what the point was. The item mimic, however, that was pretty neat. That got a good jump out of me. And one mimic that waited until I left a room, even though I wrenched it on my way in. That had to be scripted.

I had to drop Prey from Hard to Normal. I wanted to have to watch my resources, not savescum every fight. And the gameplay still isn't quite hooking me. It's almost too jumpy to be a great action game, but with way too many fights for the kind of tension I want from horror. But at least I have guns now. So that's good. I'm getting into God Eater Resurrection more. It's just kind of nice to beat up on monsters. There's not much else to say about it.

Looks like another in a long line of quickly forgotten sandbox MMOs.

Played some Prey, seems alright. I find the story hook to be great, but why do games still insist on starting you off with just a wrench? I also tried out God Eater Resurrection. I have had my eye on the two God Eater games for a while, so the Midweek Steam sale finally pushed me over the edge. By contrast, I was blasting and slashing monsters in no time! No wrench.

John Wick Chapter 2 It was fine. Not quite as interesting as the first one, but still with the potential to be the solid backbone for a trilogy.

So many mice, keyboards, and controller docking stations though. So many. Supposedly it started with a bug where some console games (like Kingdom Hearts and Crash Bandicoot) were 80-90% off.

Amazon Prime Day is today. I think I spotted a single PC game so far. I grabbed Prey at half price and Kingdom Hearts 1.5+2.5 at nearly half.

I wonder why people wave at me as they drive past while I'm jogging. I like to imagine it's because they're scared. They see this creepy guy running along, dripping with sweat, and something about him just screams "homicidal madman." The wave is their attempt to signal "please sir, do not leap onto my car and try to violently bash your way through my windshield. There are plenty of other cars, pick one of them!" There are far more likely possibilities, I'll grant you, but this is the one I like.

Finished one route in Dies Irae. It was good, but melodramatic and with kind of cliched cliffhanger of the bad guy saying "NEXT TIME HAHAHAHAHAHA." Hopefully the other routes take care of that.

I went for my jog last night as it was starting to rain. I thought how bad could it get? Well, the lightning was bright enough that my eyes reflexively shut themselves, and the rain blown by the wind felt like I was attacked by an angry nest of hornets. Other than that, you know, it was okay.

Dies Irae finally started getting good around chapter 6. I think the frustrating thing for me is that the bad guys are the most unsympathetic pieces of work I've seen in a VN. Painfully. Their very existence as characters offends me. It really is Fate/Stay Night for the super edgy. But it's around Chapter 6 that finally something starts getting done about all that.

I finished Axiom Verge. I must have really liked it because I played through it nearly without stopping. But at the same time, I don't feel that it was too great. Just really solid.

I finished Sweetest Monster. An E(nglish)VN made by the wonderful Ebi-Hime. I'd say she was a big name in the English VN community, but that's not really saying much to be frank. Anyway the commentary has her say that she wrote it to be somewhat fanservicey, but otherwise creepy and the title delivered in spades with only about 2 hours of reading. I also played a few levels of Crash Bandicoot, but I think I need to put that on the backburner and finally plow into Axiom Verge.
-
Good luck clearing the backlog. Mine's only getting worse since my gaming time dropped substantially. I'll be surprised if I finish two games in the next two months. But I've bought like a dozen in this sale.

James Earl Jones as Black Panther, Walken as vision...

And it's going to have additional voice acting or something like that. Makes me feel foolish for having them both on PS3 still in plastic.

Zesteria doesn't seem to be as well received as Berseria. I was hoping Berseria was a bit more stand alone.
