I am really beginning to doubt the utility of Mob Stance over Conquerer Stance. Once again, it may be my play-style, but I am running 5 melees (including the 2 pets from the Ranger multi-classes), and I just do not seem all that out-numbered even in PotD. In that context, I'd rather have the potential +10 Accuracy and Deflection.

It seems like most builds dismiss Withering Strike because of the cost. So is it strictly just the cost? Or is the ability not really all that either? Yeah, It's the cost. Makes it not worth it until you get access to more guile late game or have a way to apply Brilliant to regen guile. Thanks. It might be useful then for a character wearing the Devil of Caroc armor.

150 shouldn't be THAT difficult on certain builds - namely Paladin/Trickster or Fighter (with Conquerer Stance)/Trickster. But Mirrored Image and Llengrath's Displaced Image do not stack, right? I just checked my level 20 Paladin, and I made 132 Deflection on a dumped Resolve build Holy Slayer with just Mirrored Image.

All right; going Herald then! As for MC, my MC will always be a DPS melee - of course, with some survivability. So it has to be Holy Slayer or Crusader or the like Nono I meant the support char should be Trouba/Livegiver Ah, ok - so you prefer Liberator over the Herald then Lol we are totally miscommunicating. Liberator vs herald vs templar: Herald, because chanter is king. But in my opinion best general supportclass: Theurge (troubadour/lifegiver). lifegiver > paladin because better heals, more cc. Now I get it. You want me to choose Liberator according to my support character guidelines, but in the abstract you'd choose Theurg over all of them. Got ya now! I will do as you say if both of my melee DPS are some sort of Paladin multi-classes. It all depends on what the melee DPS-ers are, because having two Paladin is a must for me

Helwakers really suck for my play-style, as I like to be hands-off. In my testing, Helwalkers died nonstop even when multi-classed with Paladin. I fear I will have a similar experience with Fanatic - which I have also been meaning to try...You see why I’m here lol. I’m between Monk and Cipher (combined with Goldpact) for my next play through. Cipher is too complicated. I just tested Fanatic a bit, and it is surprisingly sustainable - though DPS was also a bit disappointing. I guess I have to be resigned to the fact that I need to throw Rogue in there in any multi-class melee builds that seeks to do tremendous DPS. The Rogue multiplier stacking is utterly nuts. RE: Cipher. Why is it to complicated? It builds steady focus for your nukes? I think it conpliments Paladin nicely. My only issue with it is properly gearing it. I’m actually trying my second test of cipher today. RE: Fanatic, I suspected that the DPS is underwhelming. But I may dip my toe into the drug water to see if that can offset the DPS loss? Yes, I don't like to have to wait for combat to progress for a bit to be able to use abilities. On the Fanatic: Holy Slayer on average will do twice or so more damage per hit due to Rogue multipliers stacking. And I don't think there is any drug that can make up for that kind of gap, but I ain't into drugs - yet

I like rogues, but I've always found ciphers underwhelming. I've not done a soul blade though. Is it just spamming Soul Annihilation? Do you guys have an idea on a multiclass paladin survivability? What class would you bring in for a big dps boost? I like the idea of going fire or decay themed from there, but I don't have enough game knowledge to plan it out. Holy Slayers (especially the Trickster variant) have massive survivability and can DPS extremely well. It's my MC every time.
