  1. The trailers and interviews seem to hint that
  2. I thought part of the fun and tension of those quests was being lost and in pretty aweful shape. Vault 34 especially, which was probably my hardest part of the game. Vault 11 was one of the highlights, I don't really get the whole black humour assisiated with that quest, I understand the joke but the logs do such a good job of personalising the characters that it's pretty sad (but that's great, as I said it was one of my favorite things in the entire game). How many people managed to get all the way through that one? It took me around 60 stims and a lot of cowering in the corner while my henchmen handled things.
  3. There is an ending that still makes perfect sense if you are universally hated so I'm guessing you can't break the game that way.
  4. I thought that Cass' inventory had some extra (as in any at all) empty wisky bottles and fewer full ones but I assumed it was my imagination.
  5. I get that desire too but usually on Tuesdays when they serve the special Duck Chow Mein.
  6. This happens with all companion but is more frequent with Veronica, if their arms are crppled they will drop their current weapon and might not pick it back up. This seems more likely to happen when they are carrying another weapon as they will switch to it and forget about the dropped one.
  7. That would have been a great oppertunity to cameo the car from Fallout 2. And the raid on the legion camp shows that firefights that large can be done in New Vegas. You're so right, maybe it'll be a DLC.
  8. Did anyone have any trouble with crashing at Legates Camp?
  9. The only DLC that would have an obvious impact on the storyline was Lair of the Shadow Broker and the companion DLCs. I imagine it will be like transfering your saves from ME1 to ME2, if you didn't do the DLCs any refferences to them will be absent from your playthrough or you'll be given the Bioware version of events and anything you need to know will be told to you in-game.
  10. I went to Vault 11 earlier and for a moment towards the end there believed so strongly that "You'll know when it happens" was about to unlock that I thought the achievements system might have been bugged.
  11. I don't think there's a contact page sorry. If it's important you could try sending a private message to a dev through the forum, Nathaniel Chapman, Alvin Nelson and J.E. Sawyer post on the board from time to time.
  12. Is the necromancer still being considered as a playable character for the expansion or is that hope dead and burried?
  13. I've only been playing for 2 hours but it's fantastic so far. I love the introduction, the art and style very much feels like the early Fallouts. The graphics most certainly have taken a step up from Fallout 3, and the animations while limited in the way that they were in Fallout 3 at least look much more natural now. Good job on the swaying hips for lady characters by the way. The combat feels much more comfortable without that blasted slow-mo cam and I could be wrong but the AI is quite a bit better as well? No problems at all yet by the way, I was nervous from the reviews but it's very slick, no lag, no bugs and it seems to be the best mix of the old and new. Thank you Obsidian, thank you, thank you, thank you. I'm very much looking forward to your next release.
  14. Thanks, I was wondering if anyone was going to do one of these for New Vegas. Looking forward to reading more after my own playthrough.
  15. I don't even get that. I think we should form a secret tryst to find and slowly and painfully kill whoever is responsible for the European release date. We'd have to hurry though, if we don't get it done in the next 23 hrs we aren't gonna care anymore. Mock if you must but I'm on christmas eve mode here. The anticipation is killing me.
  16. "This game will unlock in approximately 23 hours". God damn it, I want it now.
  17. IMO, the reviewer was simply looking for ways to back his "FO3 = OMG buggy" thesis. Not the kind of approach I'm looking for in a game review. Edit: RPS are usually even handed. This was a first impressions article, he's experienced several bugs in four hours and he's mentioning them, he also said he's having fun so far. Given that it's an RPG I also assume that not that much is going on at the moment aside from introducing the world and the obligatory tutorials. I'm sure the full review will shine light on the good wherever it's due.
  18. I think Quinns meant he was using an xbox controller on his PC. He mentions that he hasn't "seen any freezes yet. Just crashing to desktop" in the comments section.
  19. I'm sure with all the disagreements about how to resolve quests we'll be too busy hating each other to gang up on you :D
  20. One of the jedi classes I imagine, probably the healer (consular?) as that's the role I usually play in MMOs.
  21. A prize for omniscience should probably go to either Funcroc or that psychic octopus.

    Books

I'm a quarter through Yahtzee's book 'Mogworld' at the moment. Dreadgrave is awesome, reminds me a lot of The Monarch.
