Actually Quantic Dream confirmed that they are working on Omikron 2 and won't be making Heavy Rain 2. Colour me bitter, jelous and resentful. I'm hoping that genre picks up as I loved both HR and Farenheight.

Would you go into more detail please, not for any other reason than my curiosity. I didn't notice any bugs with BtB but I did find it very easy to make the optimal nice ending impossible. Also if you have Veronica in your posse there is a special gift you can pickup for her during that quest, just saying.

I woder if that line was taken out of context for the trailer and actually he's just trying to order a lemon lime. It wouldn't surprise me if that in-joke is in the game.

And so begins that leading up period where information is slowly released and I eventually have to stop visiting my favourite sites and forums for fear of spoiling something important. God dammit. Excellent trailer though, I too am very excited about the game. It will be very interesting to see what they ultimately do with all these choices we've been accumulating.

*shrug* Perhaps you are right. Perhaps it's a case of timing with Obsidian having just come off New Vegas and currently having DS3 and The Wheel of Time to work on. Maybe JE2 actually is Obsidian's next title although I don't believe it either. Perhaps Bioware and EA want the focus to be on the Mass Effect and Dragon Age series while they're still both hot properties or maybe it's for reasons entirely different. I wasn't saying "You're wrong" I was asking if you'd heard something I hadn't from an official source or an employee blog, it wouldn't be hard to believe or beyond the realm of possibility.

Is that opinion Morgoth or do you know one of the developers at Bioware or have you heard something on their forum/press release saying something to that effect? I only ask because Bioware have outsourced Mass Effect in the past with that training station DLC. Also they have outsourced Dragon Age by letting another developer work on the flash games, which isn't the same thing I know, but it suggests that they aren't totally ridged to the idea of outsourcing. I can see reasons why they wouldn't want to share their IPs as well, and you might be correct. I'm just wondering how certain you are?

I'm excited by the Witcher 2 but I just hope on a personal level that they've made the areas easier to navigate quickly and that minor quests no longer require a certain time of day before we can progress with them.

If you're going to play DOW2 in team multiplayer you really want to do it with friends if possible. Speaking as someone who doesn't have any friends who play this game, the matchmaking system seems to delight in matching random people against organised teams, I don't know how often organised groups get a fun match going but my experience has been 1 good round for ever 2-3 pointlessly one-sided and frustraiting ones. The single player campaign is quite good for both the main game and the expansion though.

I finished Metro 2033 earlier this morning. According to the global achievements stats I'm now one of the 0.5% of Steam users to have beaten the game on Ranger Mode Hardcore difficulty. Yay me, although I'm convinced this must be some kind of mistake.
