Another terrorist attack?!!!????
Product of the Cosmos replied to Product of the Cosmos's topic in Way Off-Topic
"What America is tasting is insignificant conpared to what we have tasted for scores of years. Our nation(the Islamic world) has been tasting the humiliation and degradation for more then 80 years. It's sons are killed, it's blood is shed, it's sactuaries are attacked and no one hears and no one heads. Millions of innocent children are being killed as I speak. They are being killed in Iraq without any sins.... To America, I say only a few words to it and it's people. I swear to God, who has elevated the skies without pillars, niether America nor it's people who live in it will dream of security before we live it here in Palestine and not before all the infidel armies leave the land of Muhammed, peace be upon him." -Osama Bin Laden taks, you fit under this catagory IMO:'no one hears and no one heads' if you think they do not have a valid arguement. Of course killing people is ****ed up. But they still have as valid of arguement as anyone. Here are some more famous quotes. "oil is much to precious of commodity to be left in the hands of the Arabs." -Henry Kissinger "Even a dult understands the principle - We need oil." -Advisor to G. H. Bush, time magazine, 1990 "This will be a monumental struggle of good versus evil... This crusade, this war on terrorism, is going to take a while" -G. W. Bush "If the people were not convinced[that the free world is in mortal danger] it would be impossible to vote the vast sums now being spent to avert this danger. With the support of public opinion, as martialed by the press, we are off to a good start. It is our job - yours and mine - to keep our people convinced that the only way to keep disaster away from our shores is to build up Americas might." -Former GE Chairman of the board Charles Wilson after ebing appointed to some defense position in the white house in the 1950's, talking to the Newspapers Publishers Association. lmao GE's slogan is 'We bring good things to life' LMAO! Like nukes! LOL! "I have seen that we do not intend to free but to subjugate[the Philipines at the time]... And so I am an anti imperialist. I am opposed to having the eagle put its talons on any other land... I have a strong aversion to sending our bright boys out there to fight with a disgraced musket under a polluted flag." -Mark Twain, 1900 "The weakest ch1nk in our armor is American public opinion." -President Lyndon Johnson, 1968 -

"And PotC, I'd like you to make a really good list on the reasons why we Americans should be hated by terrorists, just to see where you are coming from." I've already listed quite a bit of our invasions, dictator propping, dictator support, thwarting democracy in other nations, corporate rape of their resources/people, something to keep them under is a dictator's oppresion while we rape their resources with corporate crime. Not to mention giving a bunch of weapons to people who will kill Middle Eastern people with. Like Isreal, or Iran/Iraq to kill each other, etc. We played Saddam and Iraq like the amatuer idiot that he is. And in the process killed millions of people(as result, or direct result of USA action). It's obvious we weren't trying to help out there... For over a decade.. **** like that, is the main reaon why we are so widely hated IMO(least when it comes to terrorism). "Not everything is in black & white as Cosmos suggests. The countries we protect have to do with our own interests. You probaly also don't know most of the terrorrists in Iraq aren't Iraqis they came in from other countries because our military didn't seal thier borders good enough." What the hell are you talking about? lol. In what way was my description that you were responding to limited to one side or another? I listed the top 3 reasons I think there are terrorists. "oh, and PoTC... wake up and smell the garbanzos... osama wants control. he, like nearly every other islamic terrorist, wants nothing else but control." Maybe control of their own homeland I don't blame them. I would be a terrorist too if Iraq was the world power, my mother was killed by a Iraqi bomb when they obviously don't have honorable intent. If in their greed they invade and **** up my homeland, and use resources and keep my people in poverty. I would want to blow them up too. If they gave my enemy chemical weapons to kill my family and people because they are 'protecting their interests', then turn around and give my people weapons.. Hell, it gets obvious, they just want us to kill each other. In that case I would revolt and try to kill them. I bet you would too in such oppression. -

"I'm sure every terrorist keeps a list of gripes against America hidden in his pocket, right? Wrong. They are fanatics. They hate us because they are told to." lol. Partially right IMO.. But if we didn't give so much ammunition for them to be told of things that are true the 'being told' wouldn't be as effective for terrorists IMO. "i hate to tell you but this is patently wrong. the only way for terrorists to stop seeing us as targets is to die. period. they don't want freedom, they want theocracies in the name of allah. and, above all else, the heads of such organizations really don't even care about that. osama is nothing other than a power hungry dictator. he wants freedom gone so he can rule all. same pattern as every other dicttator that's walked the planet, uses the same means to convince his "flock" (read: clueless followers) and in the end, uses nothing more than violence to acheive his means." LMAO! Osama Bin Ladens goal is to rule all?! ROFL!!!!!! That's the funniest thing I heard all day. But ya....... I'm sure if they have good lives and good living conditions they would be wanting to attack us You tell me to do my 'homework' when I don't even claim to know the subject(the media one). And now, I tell you to do some homework. lol.. Maybe interview a terrorist or two instead of just believing what you hear on TV... All in all it's probably a big assembly of all those things mentioned plus some. I'd say the biggest is USA corruption(killing/****ing them over for many years), second biggest I think is religious things. Like the crazy ass leaders over their claiming holy war, as well as Bush blowing the Christian horn all the time saying God will bring them to justice etcetc(is the USA military God now?, lol). And third I think it is envy like you seem to scapegoat out conveniently to conform to your belief that they have no logical REAL arguement. But to single out envy ad think it makes hundreds of thousands of people hate you. And others willing to kill themselves to hurt you. heh, your judgement IMO is pretty much a shallow cop out at that point. Ya they are idiots for attacking when they could work in a different way to work things out(like we were dumbasses to attack Iraq). Their atacks give their actual arguements, which has some major bearings less credibility. And completely blinds you to it obviously.. -
Bastila vs. Atris
Product of the Cosmos replied to Topaz Quasar's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
The spamming campaign was in response to what Bioware had become. All it is is a den of n00bs and Woo ass kissers over there now. Sad really. I still laugh when I remember the Padme or Bastila thread.....those were good times. You got some real issues there. Don't we all. If I thought that the Bioboards were redeemable, I would have tried....believe me, I did with the original influx of n00blets, but eventually, I gave up, and so I decided to have one last go at Darth Woo. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> "believe me, I did with the original influx of n00blets, but eventually, I gave up, and so I decided to have one last go at Darth Woo." lmfao! Does bastila or Atris turn me on? Not really. But even just their 'digital bodies' are in the right curves to be somewhat attractive. Not like I ogle them or anything. But I see a bunch of rants about how people are idiots and losers because they find pixel formations attractive. How about when graphics surpass the eye sight in 'pixels'? LMAO. What then? Like the girls in DOA. They are hot IMO(for video game chix anyway). Not like I would want to marry one of them(lmao) but ya they r hot. And I'm none of that bull**** some of the people in this thread claim. Not shallow when looking for a woman, not no life, not immature(IMO anyway, lol), not underage, not the stereotypical 'nerd' appearance, etcetc. I think some people went overboard intheir alienation.... Anyway I voted Atris because Bastila was a grouchy snatch. lol. -
KOTOR 3 development stalled
Product of the Cosmos replied to Craftsman's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
lol it's a safe bet. I'm glad they started the 2nd one pretty quick. And I'd bet I feel the same about KotORII=Good/great game, and KotOR III=want it. lol. I don't see a need for it. Sure make the graphics look better and a few other tweaks but overall the game is pretty good as it is. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Kotor 3 assumably comes out with next gen consoles/technology. You wouldn't mind the games graphics being completely obsolete? -
The star trek stuff? I'm not sure what your getting at Eldar. LMFAO@ this tho: "This is an obvious hoax by X-Files addicted geeks working for the Siberian Tourist Board."

Having a lunatic in office(and I did say IMO) adds to the uncomfortable feeling that I have. Which is what I felt to express in this thread. Can you see the difference. -
Another terrorist attack?!!!????
Product of the Cosmos replied to Product of the Cosmos's topic in Way Off-Topic
Your counting taks? Like 90% or more of what I see of JNs posts are personal attacks... Information/opinion about what our president does is constructive even if it is negative. Constructive towards knowledge gain. Personal attacks like JN does, however are not. They're just anger/spite thrown into a post. And I don't happen to be in the powerseat of the world. So if JN doesn't like my views he doesnt have to put up with them affecting the whole world in millions of ways.... You have had ample oppourtunity to debate my view on Bush. This thread however is not an attack on Bush. Just an assembly of how I felt. fionavar if you see this go ahead and close the thread.... lol. -

You never have anything to say but negative **** do you? -
lol it's funny to me to see how people just assume it's a hoax with things like this. Even if it is a hoax. Assuming it is right away is just retarded, and confirms all the disinformation is working. lol.

I woke up to a couple fighter jets flying like within 500 feet of my window.. Loud as **** doing circles over my house pretty much. Then I turned my TV on and it was Fox News and I saw like a quarter million people fleeing a city(which I later found out to be Tampa Bay fleeing a hurricane). I hadn't felt that way since 9-11. Which spawned a thought of man, how it sux right now in America. We have a ****ing psycho idiot(a lot of psycos, 1 huge ****ing idiot IMO anyway) in the white house. And a bunch of crazy ass terrorists trying to blow us up. Then we have the split in our country like half the country wouldn't even mourn the other half if they got killed. I do not fear anything. But America is not comfortable right now to me.

Revan: Male or Female?
Product of the Cosmos replied to GhostofAnakin's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I'd wondered about that myself. I've never seen a cross-species relationship in the movies, and in the 50 odd EU books I've read I've never encountered it really either. I don't know if it's illegal, or if people just refrain from it. Biologically speaking, the DNA composition would be too different for any such pairing to produce viable offspring anyway, so...*shrugs* Perhaps that's why most don't. Maybe it's some form of taboo. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I imagine some cross species pro-creation could take place. "Women can be mass murderers, same as men. I see it on America's Most Wanted all the time. Men are more prone to this, though. Or so it would seem. Perhaps women are just more discreet." LMAO! Quite possibly. lol -

I did the opposite. Always played through as a female. Either way though I think male or female(or asexual) fits Revan just fine.. -
Questions to the Devs
Product of the Cosmos replied to Craftsman's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
^lol Seeing the noobs roll in is fun. What I want to see changed though(that I have not seen mentioned). Is in kotor when I would get a datapad, or something from someone(like the guy in the Dantooine base I schooled in pazaak) it doesnt tell me what I got. And if I had been slacking on keeping track of all my items I had to guess. i hope thats not in the 2nd kotor. -

I don't mind them working overdrive on finishing the game at all. Which is what I imagine they are doing.. And I don't really want to know who that masked sith is Don't tell me about it. lol
