I played light side my first time through KOTOR, so I'll probably do the same my first time through TSL.

I never had problems slicing open any locks with a lightsaber as a Guardian. Can't speak for the other classes as I never played through as a Sentinel or Consular.

Ah well, I don't have a whole lot of knowledge on the EU, I've only read a couple books. That was just something that I knew from somewhere. Anyway, I'd say that the whole "No love!" thing was probably made by Lucas simply as another way to push Anakin towards the dark side and all that jazz.

Well, if I'm not mistaken, Luke ends up marrying Mara Jade later on in the EU, so obviously he didn't see any merit in that "policy."

The first time I played through KOTOR, I did it as an LS male, so that's probably how I'll go with TSL.

Well, the Shadowlands were supposed to be extremely dangerous, much more so than in the game. Of course, the ease in the game could be accounted for in the fact that you're a Jedi (or at least somewhat).

I highly doubt that Revan will show up in the game. No doubt his fate will be key to the background of The Sith Lords, but simply for the reason that he was our PC, it would be nearly impossible to satisfy everyone given one personality for him as an NPC.

Yeah, I'd say that the LS ending to KOTOR is definitely a bit too happy. Some sort of epilogue would have been much better than the sort ego-stroking they put in ala A New Hope.

Because the series would have ended if he could.

Kind of off-topic, but Ivan got me thinking. None of the Jedi in KOTOR actually become one with the force. Nemo in the ruins, the Jedi killed on the Star Forge, Juhani and Jolee if you killed them on top of the Temple, etc. Not that it really matters, just something I noticed.

My money's on Canderous definitely showing back up, cameo or party member. I would like to see Jolee or Juhani show up as being among the last remaining Jedi given that you choose the light side options from the last game at the beginning of the game.
