  1. Started over with a few mods... Amie and my PC's victory dance!
  2. The way I see God is that he created three religions whose purpose was to cause conflict and to kill each other. What a loving God!
  3. Goode is a bigot, plain and simple. He wants to use fear as a tool to strengthen his position while discredit those who he sees as a threat. At least that is my interpretation of Goode's actions.
  4. Troika ------> Sports talk.
  5. Fallout LARP? Que Iran and North Korea!

    Its just another FPS.
  7. No MMO. MMOs are bad. BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD! EVIL MMOs! EVIL I TELL YOU!
  8. I don't think a sequel will be possible with the setting is dead. If we get a new Vampire game it will be the new WoD.
  9. *runs and hides from the spiked baseball bat of Darqueness!* In all seriousness who cares what Bioware or Microsoft says about Jade Empire. As consumers it is not our business to know or even care if they consider a game a success or not. The game is either fun or not fun, that is really our only true concern. If a game is fun, then play it. If not, ditch it and find a game that is fun to play. Let those who are in the business side of gaming worry about the business side. Lets just stick to playing what is fun.
  10. I don't really care if the game is a failure or a success. If its fun then it is a good game. JE is the best console game I have played. I doubt the PC version will be better than NWN2 or Fallout but it should still be a good game. Also, just to note, failed games don't often get ported to other platforms.
  11. Pixie Stick, you are reasonably intelligent being so pardon me for not believing you. I'm not going to be baited.

    What's happy about it?
  13. Pixie Stick, you are just being obtuse and purposely trying to egg me on. Not going to work, sorry. You know exactly what I am getting at and it no where near what you are describing.
  14. " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You can play with a small group of friends in non-MMOs games to. Lets see games like NWN2, IWD1 and 2, BG1 and 2, and so forth.
  15. Pixie Stick, striking it rich at a casino is no sure thing while it is a sure thing that the "hag" will kill the character for not doing the task at hand. Certain Death with Uncertain Riches or Certain living and a sure amount of money at hand. I know which one I would choose.
  16. No, it has a focused story line around the PC, just not one that revolves saving the world or the character being the chosen one.
  17. I agree. I am biased for NWN2 and I like it over Oblivion but Oblivion has some good things about it that cannot be denied, though some of the awards it got is completely off base.
  18. Why not make a CRPG that doesn't require the world being saved?
  19. That used too happen, kinda. NPCs used to solve quests and close Oblivion gates on their own. It had to be fixed, because it was preventing the player from doing some things. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't have a problem with that but if you are going to make a CRPG make the story of the CRPG about the character being played. If the NPCs have their own lives doing things, solving their own quests that is good, just as long the PC's story is the focus.
  20. I just like to go through a normal adventure in which the world does not need saving. Hell, it would be even more nice if there wasn't a big bad guy to beat on in the end. Something different for a change.
  21. I just see the whole game of Oblivion as pointless. Hell, Bethesda even made leveling pointless, and in some cases a detriment.
