China: A Look at the Future of Capitalism
What we need is a balance of capitalism and socialism. Taken to the extremes of both can lead to turmoil and unrest.

Need some help with an annoying issue
What you need to do is edit the registry yourself. Tricky business if you don't know what you are doing but it is a quick operation if you do. You need to go to the Run menu and type regedit. Windows will find the program and start it up. You just need to do a search and manually delete the registries. I had that problem with Windows ME. Yeah, I know. What OS are you using, Rosbjie?

What are you playing now?
Don't crash into the pedestrians and street signs. Run the other cars off the road. Drive Offensively. The life you save may be your own. Since I foobared NWN2 with the beta patch and all those mods I am going to uninstall and reinstall the game and start over from scratch. Man, that first initial patch instal is around a 120 megs! Wow...

Someone who reads and disagrees, of course.- How was the next day?
What do you expect from a Green Dragon. They are evil, you know. :D- Great news from Feargus
I have no problems with Fallout going console just as long the PC side of things don't suffer for it.- China: A Look at the Future of Capitalism
Yay for corporate interests. I just like to know how some of these corporate arseholes can actually live with themselves with the misery they are so eager to perpetuate. Democracy is good, but capitalism is not.- Unwinnable Battles
Exactly, Cant! Someone is getting it!- Unwinnable Battles
Man, some of you are just not paying attention. That is exactly what I have been saying! Sheesh. The critter is still killable, within the rules of the game, and if you have the strategy and good enough weapons then you should be able to win in a straigh on fight, but it will be difficult as hell to do so.- Beyond the Red Line
- Unwinnable Battles
Agreed, tale. If you are going to make rules for a CRPG make sure the rules apply to everyone. PCs and NPCs.- Unwinnable Battles
Maybe, just maybe, the player wants to make a RP choice and go on a killing spree. GEE, WHO WOULD HAVE THUNK IT! Now, is that good role playing? Probably not, but nonetheless it should be an option for the player character to try.- Great news from Feargus
Not at all. You want Fallout, but that game has already been released. Yes, you are. I want Fallout 3 to be recognizably Fallout beyond just the title. That should be obvious even to one such as you.- Unwinnable Battles
Anything that can die should be killable. Now I am not saying that it should be easy to kill a foe. In fact it could very be near impossible to kill a foe, but if you have enough fire power to do so, or use some brilliant strategy, then the foe should be killable. I mean, take CoC for your example. How many high powered critters in that game can stand a full nuclear assault? Not many I believe. Of course, not many PCs would have nuclear weapons, but it does not change the fact that the critter needing such a weapon to kill it isn't killable.- Great news from Feargus
Anal much, Maria?- Unwinnable Battles
I like to stick to role playing in my role playing games.- An Act of War?
Ow. That hurts. Really. Your cutting words have me in tears. Really. Your cunning intellect astounds me. Really. Oh. The humanity. Oh.- Unwinnable Battles
I think every battle should be winnable. SOme battles should be very very very very very tough and you will need an extraordinary luck to win, but still winnable.- Great news from Feargus
And it still wouldn't be Fallout even if they did.- An Act of War?
Certainly an individual an stop being violent. A mob on the other hand... It all boils down that we just cannot leave each other alone and interfere, sticking our nose where it does not belong. If we learn to stop doing that then the violence will probably follow.- Great news from Feargus
I just think that Bethesda is incapable of making a good Fallout game. None of the games they have made in house comes anywhere near the style and presentation of Fallout 1 and 2. Each developing house has their strengths and weaknesses, and they should improve on their strengths and limit their weaknesses with each successive game. Bethesda, going by the titles that they develop in house, lack the ability to make Fallout.- An Act of War?
Human beings are social creatures and we like our lil' cliques as well. Those who are different are often ridiculed and sometimes violence is acted upon them. That is just the way humans are.- MassMffect Q & A @ Gamespy
It was poorly designed piece of rubbish. Hilarity had nothing to do with it.- An Act of War?
The more "global" the world becomes the more likely we humans will kill each other off. Everyone thinks they have the best form of government, the best form of religion, best form of thinking, and everyone else is wrong and some think that those who are wrong deserve to be invaded, killed, and forced to their way of thinking. - Unwinnable Battles
