Bannon? He didn't strike me as being communist or leninist or <pick your variant of socialism>.
-
So, Steve Bannon seems to have bombshell-hit-the-fan himself by talking with a liberal publication, though there is more to it than just talking to the journalist. Some of his colleagues are disturbed at the whole thing and the journalist was surprised that Bannon had called for an interview. brief The Hill article on it Google cache of the interview since the website itself is having some problems atm for some reason.

If I ever gave anyone the impression that I'm a cuckservative then I probably need to apologize. Maybe I should start colouring my posts as well. Oh, sorry. I usually see that as an insult from conservatives, not liberals using it in an ironic way. Anyhow, oh hey, the left is not the only one to do witch hunts: http://thehill.com/homenews/news/346900-man-misidentified-as-charlottesville-driver-by-far-right-sites-in-hiding-report (not aimed at anybody in particular, except maybe Trump).

What? No, everything on Breitbart is true. Silly libtard. Okay, silly conservatard. In all seriousness though, they started out as practically the mouthpiece for the Trump admin, but they've since more or less dropped Trump like a hot potato.

Sounds like some sort of tit-for-tat disagreement between McAuliffe and the cops in Charlottesville. Not sure if you're saying Brietbart is lying or who is lying here. It's clear in the article democratic governor lied, not sure what is so hard to understand. On the other hand the lack of intellect on the left is not surprising anymore. Gov. clearly wanted to score some points in the usual way the left do this, by fabricating a lie on their opponents. He didn't take into account that there are some decent people that will not be his puppets in the police force. I don't exactly trust Brietbart and I find them to be as lowly as Fox News, but hey, to each of their own media bubbles, which is why I didn't look any further than the title. I agree that Gov. McAuliffe is being an idiot and pretty blantantly was trying to score political points with previous comments too. He's term limited out, so, not sure why he'd bother trying to score political points.

QUESTION: Where Can You Buy Eggs?
smjjames replied to Witkh13's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Stories (Spoiler Warning!)
I think you meant to post in the PoE1 section. If you have access to the Twin Elms area, Hearthsong market has a food seller. The apothecary in dyrford may have them. As for dragon eggs, I swear someone does sell them, but I forget who. They'd be extremely expensive though. -
Crosses? LOOPCEPTION! Okay, bad joke.

It's the choice of the creators of the World of warcraft to use lots of parodies and tongue-in-cheek references to things in real life in their game. Which is not what Obsidian did in PoE. There are a few, but they're exactly that, rare, and they're usually pretty subtle since they keep it lore safe and relevant. Probably the best place to find parodies or references to real life things are in backer items. Obsidian made items might have some subtle reference to a RL thing in the item description, but it'd be very rare to see actual references to anything. The most obvious reference to anything real life is the Cloak of the Fox and Hunter, which is a backer created item. There's also the animancy cat in Deadfire mentioned in update 39, which is a homage to Josh Sawyer's cat, Sesame.

Oh man, does Pence realize that he's risking trashing his reputation by standing by Trump? I don't have much sympathy for Pence and he knew what he was signing up for, but still, really? Pretty much the only reason for that political calculus is to make Trump think he's still loyal. Edit: And now Trump is disbanding his business councils.... He might not believe in those ideologies, theres no proof of that (other than an ex-wife claiming that he keeps mein kampf by his bedside, but, you know, ex-wives), but he does pander like hell to his base instead of being a President for ALL Anericans and he thinks the white supremacists are part of his base.
-
Of course he's not going to say "Hey! I'm pro Nazi!" or "Nazis are good", he's not QUITE that stupid. He knows how to dog-whistle like hell though. Also, an eighth executive has left his manufacturing council. How many does he have left over there?

I wonder how Ivanka and Jared (in particular) feel about all this since they're Jews. Though Ivanka is a convert. I know Ivanka has tweeted condemnation, but still, it's her father.
-
We know she was travelling for 5 years already by the time you encounter her. She is 57 so I doubt she just popped a kid and went for a lengthy journy. It is likely that her children will be adults by the time Deadfire will be taking place. It'd be reasonable to assume that they were already adults when she left, or teenager for her youngest.

Well, they did technically remove it in an unlawful way.

That argument doesn't really work because every other president has been white. Unless I'm misunderstanding your point. https://www.vox.com/science-and-health/2017/8/15/16144070/psychology-alt-right https://osf.io/preprints/psyarxiv/c9uvw I read that Vox article title as "NEWS! Psychologists find that racists are racists!" and was like, Vox, I know you can do better than this.....

Just like ISIS. Somehow. They're moving some to cemeteries for the rebel dead, so BFD. I don't think ISIS moved anything to cemetaries for the rebel dead? They pretty much destroyed them outright. The fate of those statues seems unclear, some say that they might put them in cemetaries and one councilor wants to destroy them outright.

Lol the accidential inneudo.

Both sides are equally bad, the alt-left is encouraging them by giving up $20. I know you're trying to be funny, but alt-left isn't even a thing.
