  1. You sir, are epic fail. Considering that the events of TOR are based on the events in KotoR I and II - I'd say that Revan's and the Exile's story are very much relevant. And I think you shouldn't dismiss KotoR I/II's storyline just yet. The Sith found a way to sustain themselves in life long after they should've been dead...can't remember the relevant Sith Lord's name...something Sidious mentioned to Skywalker about cheating death (whatever...) For all we know, the Sith outmanouvered the Republic fleet and forces wherever they met - d
  2. Look who's being negative. I'm sort of hoping to get a progressreport. Wouldn't have to be a video, would appriciate some short audio-file, so taht we know where we are Been over a year now since we got our last update
  3. *sigh* I'm sure we can make the appropriate thread for it and if the mods complain we'll complain back by shouting "freedom of speech!" and "Inter Arma Silent Legis"
  4. Sorry mate, wish I could help but I've never experienced this bug, nor have I ever even heard of it :/ what are your system specs mate? Gfxcard, Processor, memory, Operating system? and what anti-virus program do you use mate? Do you have a firewall?
  5. You sound like some of the "God is our creator"-people that sometimes harassed people when I was in highschool. I threw eggs at them. Rotten. At any rate, what's the point of flaming in this topic, because quite frankly that's the only thing you've achieved, we're here to cheer and root for Team Gizka, not put them in a coffin with copy of TSL on their chest. Anyhow...it seems to me that they've managed to find yet another set of bugs/problems..I guess that's the life of a modder, solve 1 problem and 3 more will pop up. And I'm getting the urge to play through KotoR I and II again... as Sith
  6. While I sympathize brother and totally agree with you - Lucasarts is just milking money wherever they can. And they're just doing what blizzard did with World Of Warcraft --> enter the MMO business and try to make their game as grand as possible, the better the game - the more money they'll milk from it. And an MMO you can milk indefinately (in theory) I too, would prefer to see a Knights of the Old Republic III I think an awesome name for K3 would be "Knights of the Old Republic III - the Dark Path" gives a nice ring to the name, doesn't it? and I hope Gizka's going to be done soon with TSLRP
  7. Let's hope it done soon. Yeah yeah blah blah. *It's done when it's done*
  8. From what I've heard TFU isn't coming out for PC, which seriously hampers their income from the game in my opinion...
  9. i thought it was too easy Thanks to Scorchy, I just let all 25 board the Ebon Hawk and kill them there. Less fun that way, but more XP. Oh, and for those of you that haven't read the whole thing I command you to do so now: Let's Play KotOR II. Offtopic - your signature is disturbing in every possible way Oh and I must say that I think the Tomb of Freedon Nadd was one of my favourite places in K2 by far. The Trayus academy was fun - but too much battle and too little dialogue in it, hopefully TSLRP will restore everything there. Korriban was also one of my favourites, when you fight in your past, present and future - was damn fun
  10. I guess one must be "old" enough on this forums to remember certain things Maybe I should get retired. Wait. Let me think 'bout it...ehm...No Still gotta play TSLRP
  11. never thought i'd see the day... Manaan was really not that bad - and the court case was kind of fun. i didn't hate it to the extent most people seem to, but those selkath voices just annoyed the hell outta me i liked Taris though, and the first playthrough of Peragus Indeed mate, Peragus had the perfect setting/story. The game could've made a hell of a movie actually... much better than Jar Jar Binks & Co. ever were...
  12. I mean the Sion/Kreia duel was LEGENDARY. The things they said made the story so deep, and the voice actors deserve a medal each. Sion was the ultimate villain - and Kreia was the ultimate type of cryptic Jedi Master one could wish for. When I first played TSL I didn't suspect Kreia of being Darth Traya until I got far into the game - sure she spoke of taking care of yourself before healing the galaxy and all that, but the story would allow a Jedi master to act like that considering how much was at stake. You were the last (mind you, Ex) jedi who was willing to fight the Sith Lords, and found the means to do it, while having the weight of the galaxy on your shoulders.
  13. Yeah, notice JdNoa's comment? "No Peragus bugs" For some reason I loved the Peragus part of the game...gave a serious depth to the game and gave the player an insight as to how just majorly sc**wed the galaxy/republic really was - and how important every little thing that happened on the space station was.
  14. Just had to put a <3 to your signature ;D Stargate ftw you should check out the new Stargate movie (Stargate- Ark of truth) anyways back to topic. StarWars has yet to see a decent RTS. Empire at War was fun for...say 3 hours. Then I realized "Hey, I'm doing the same thing...again...and again....and again " Reminded me so much of EA games. Good Graphics Lame story Gameplay? What's that?
  15. As much as I'd love to play KotoR III or even TSLRP, I think the best thing to do now is to enjoy some other games, like the upcoming WotLK and SC II by Blizzard Entertainment. I've noticed that playing a game too much like I've done with the KotoR titles has drained my interest in those games - better to give them a pause while playing some other games while my interest in the KotoR franchise builds up again and is maxed out when KotoR III is released Can't wait 'til I get my hands on StarCraft II and WoW - Wrath of the Lich King However I'm curious as to what KotoR III's title will be...would surely whet my apetite for KotoR III if LA released the title's name
  16. Note that you can never achieve perfection....it would take infite time to be achieved. Perfection, from whose point of view?
  17. Grey Jedi go both ways. Grey Jedi believe using the dark side is not inherently evil; what your intentions are during an act is what makes the difference between a good life and a bad one "good" being just and reasonable. Of course evil is ignorance not a higher power; evil/ignorance can be seen in unreasonable behaviour- vengeance is not justice it's self gratification. Most interesting. That would mean that Kyle Katarn is a hypocrite really. He said the exact same thing about how you use your powers is what defines good and evil, and as far as I know - gray jedi don't really give a crap about the Jedi Order or the Sith Order. Yet he was all forgiving/anti-sith as you could get plus that he later became a Jedi Master in his own right.
  18. Thanks for some facts. People seem to be spitting out a lot of those without any clear leads as to where they got their facts. At any rate, I'd rather have Obsidian make a KOTOR 3 than BioWare.
  19. Interesting shift in other topic, suddenly you start to talk about how you're sure BIOWARE is working on Kotor game (which is bollocks btw). What about "yer friends"? Speaking of Bollocks Xard, where do you get your "facts"? e.g How do you know they're not working on KOTOR III?
