  1. If you want to beat the game, Malachor is a must...
  2. Indeed. Where is the Launch Analysis button? Right clicked the shortcut on my desktop- to no avail.
  3. Quite frankly, I hated peragus the first time through. But then later attempts showed me what was actually happening- it was a sci-fi suspense/paranoia level. Once I realised that, it became one of my favorites. Hated? Nar Shadaa. I loathe every time I must trudge through it...
  4. Despite them being common, don't underestimate the power of Stimulants, as well. +4 to a stat is generally a good thing.
  5. Right, so I finally snagged a PC veresion of TSL in preparation for the Restoration Project, and installed it on my computer. Installation went off without a hitch, so I went online and manually downloaded the patch, and installed that. Problem is, now when I try to play it, I click the shortcut, and the menu pops up just fine. I click "Game," hoping to play, but then it doesn't register that I have the play CD in, which I do. Says, "Please remove disk from current CD/DVD Drive and insert original disc in another drive?:." Did a system scan to see if I could run it, and everything passed... 'cept my graphics card, but that earned a "yellow" indicating I could play it on minimum graphics. Running Vista, if that is any help. Thanks in advance for any and all help, however. Edit: Could it be that I downloaded the wrong patch? The one I found was located Here. If this is the case, a link to the correct patch would be appreciated.
  6. It wasn't so much so Nihilus coulud kill them, it's so he'd reveal himself, and atris's beloved invincible Jedi would destroy him utterly. Only problem with that plan is the whole "He eats worlds" part.
  7. There might have been an element of that, but that can neither be confirmed or denied from what we learn in the game (and the cut content), where Atris simply states that she did this to make the sith reveal themselves. She even leaked information of the jedi conclave on Katarr to the Sith and so caused the destruction of the planet that Nihilus wrought there, except that comment was cut from the game. Note, however, how the masters are surprised to hear that Atris is on Telos, if you mention it to them, since they thought she too had died on Katarr. Indeed. Atris is the kind of person, from dialogue both cut and in the game, to take on teh sith singlehandedly because they are sith, and therefor lacking in the mental department. Glad there aren't more JEdi like Atris. Then the well-known quote "Evil will always triumph over good because good is dumb" would be truer than we know...
  8. A christmas release? Seems a bit... well, odd, I suppose. Full circle and all that. Non-finished version of TSL was released on christmas, and now modders finished it... on christmas (presumably.) Seems a bit clich'e, but I'm not complaining.
  9. Hopefully they're getting closer... haven't really checked in for awhile. Pity. Try to post here more often. Heh.
  10. I doubt it. At least I've never been able to get it before I reached Citadel Station at Telos. Neither have I. As far as I can tell you can only really delve into Atton/Kreia's past once you hit Telos.
  11. Er... Male?
  12. Huh. Would have been great to see a monument to my greatness. More's the pity.
  13. Basically in the title. After the end of Dantooine LS, you get the option to accept the credits, decline them, or get them to build a statue in your honour and bravery. Does the statue get built? I really, REALLY don't want to start from the beginning to find out it doesn't.
  14. If you haven't, activate the Medical Droid in one of the first branched-off rooms. That thing will keep you healed almost fully, and almost all the time, so gaurd it with your life
  15. Stealth is useful with Force Confusion. If not the strategic element, there's the entertainment value...
  16. I would recommend lobbing a few plasma grenades/using plasma pistols. Takes out hte shields double quick.
  17. This is exactly how the game has to progress. Just head back to Dxun via the shuttle if you haven't already, and go do another planet like Dantooine or Nar Shadaa. Things should prgoress after that Don't worry. You'll be returning soon enough. On a related note, his name is Kavar. Good Hunting!
  18. I found that every single crystal, excluding Bronze, can be found at the illegal Duros Trader. Just walts up to his counter, save your game, and look at his inventory. If he doesn't have it, reload. Wash, rinse, and repeat...
  19. Remember: Environment Sensors on Dantooine
  20. I usually have Bao Dur do the Environmental Sensor thing. Gives him huge inflence.
  21. I'm on teh xbox, so no haxxoring here
  22. Well, so far, I've figured that the loot system is random (duh) and is based off of level due to the fact that I've never, through my million playthroughs, found a master robe at level 1. This playthrough I'm searching for a Jedi Master Robe, and I've found that, other than shopkeepers, some places have a better chance of spawning the robe than others, such as the mandalorian cache on duxn (or so I've read) Question is though, what level did you acquire Jedi Master Robes? (Ignoring Vrook in a darkside game)
  23. Another 2 year old topic? I sense a thread necromancer lurking in the shadows...
  24. I take no blame for this thread-ressurection.
