Well a very similar demo called Dawn the fairy came out 10 years ago to show off the old GeForce FX cards, this is just remake of that one in dx11 to show off Kepler cards

I remember the hype back in 2006 that it was gonna be an open world game showcasing all the new dx10 graphics, but instead released as a scripted dx9-only game 6 years later

Thing is once next gen consoles come out, graphics will be better for both consoles and pcs. And most of us pc people won't have to even upgrade any hardware, if you have specs from the last 2 years
