  1. Whatever else the guy has done. Calling out bs on their side if only a handful of times is more than most of them are willing to do.
  2. What the hell happened to Miles Cheong....?
  3. I'm just laughing at them turning on each other. When even Joss Whedon can't please them anymore.
  4. I don't know about that story but he sure thinks it's "problematic".
  5. I love how you can all of a sudden be dismissive of anonymous threats when the target is right. Some supposed "Bomb Threat". People who can be this hypocritical are just scumbags.
  6. Except that's not what the quote says. She is prioritizing the feelings women who experienced loss over people who faced the horrors of war and met a violent death.
  7. I'm frankly shocked anyone is trying to justify that.... I think this is just the perfect example of modern sj nonsense driving people mad. The people who lost their lives... Who will never walk or talk or mourn or laugh... who lost the chance to live, to do anything at all... ever... for them it's oblivion. These are the victims who lost it all.
  8. There is no justification for what she says. The people whose lives were cut short or who were crippled are the primary victims of war. Not their relatives who get to live. The same would never be acceptable to say if roles were reversed.
  9. No. Men are more than 3 times more likely to be victims of murder. It's a warped logic.
  10. You know why it's more often the woman in that role? Because hurting a woman is instinctively inexcusable.
  11. Stalking and harassment.
  12. I did not know this was possible.
  13. Is that the Miles Cheong? It's like they switched him for someone else.
  14. So the interview is some guy being butthurt over the fact that Pakman isn't drinking the "Listen & Believe" kool-aid enough.
  15. I finished both Amnesia and Outlast.
  16. But in a way it's like saying Epic will not have to make their own games other devs will make it for them. It's the 75% fee that sounds like a ripoff.
  17. I am a big fan of the idea of tools and resources evolving to become easier to use and less expensive to access. A triple "A" game's resources including a ready set of functioning mechanics that don't have to be made from scratch is a big resource for developers. A donation button is nice. But I think entirely unreliable for someone to get into full time and maybe invest into the quality and scope.
  18. I still think in principle the ability to sell mods isn't a bad idea.
  19. Bow down before your lord Gaben.
  20. Except for the characterization of casual and hardcore that is spiteful to the latter.
  21. So then you don't think we are "entitled man-children"?
  22. Semantics. Sure the word "entitlement" applies. But your use of it is with a unflattering and scornful slant. Mine is basic common sense. You make a thing and either people want it or not, you don't owe anyone anything on the side.
