We are venting. If it were a "big deal" we'd demand something be done about it. Like "their" side does for all the victims of internet spite.
-
I don't see that there is any other way to see it.

I would not generalize everyone who doesn't like Gamergate as being in line with this behavior. As to the group of people who are involved or think like this then yes I have less respect for them than I might have had. This is the worse thing anyone's said in this entire mess.

I can not believe you just said all that. 1. What is expected is a bare minimum. Stay quiet, if you can't be sympathetic. 2. The authenticity of their beliefs excuses nothing. Some people believe you need to have your head cut off because you don't believe what they believe. To them it's a serious thing too. This is not a conversation reasonable people should even be having. I will not treat anyone who gloats at a man with a terminal disease over some petty internet squabbles as anything other than a piece of sh*t. I will also at this point not entertain the arguments to the supposed seriousness of anything John Bain has ever done that would deserve such treatment under any context due to their abject lunacy.

When someone is facing what TB is facing it goes well and far beyond general internet nastiness. It's either extraordinary ignorance and stupidity or those people are genuinely and truly scum of the earth.

This is really sad. I hope he beats all the odds.

People should stop acting like affirmative action is uniquely good. it may come out as the greater good but it inherently creates another kind of injustice. And this is how it should be talked about.

I bet you didn't see that coming.

Rise of the Tomb Raider microtransaction scheme is pretty damn ridiculous. You can buy "expedition card packs" (or grind for the in game credits). These cards can be used to modify your game with various options and perks. One such card is called reportedly "manual grab". Which is how the old school Tomb Raider games worked, that is you need to press a button to grab a ledge you're jumping to. I don't care for it but old fans have been asking for this for a very long time. So naturally Square Enix decided they can take this basic game mechanic demanded by the fandom and sell it to them for extra cash. Oh, and most of these cards can only be used once. So you would have to buy/grind over and over again. And they contain random cards so you can't just buy the one you want. And there are 300 of them.

Unlike oby I have exactly zero enthusiasm for these clones. They have no loyalty to Russia only to Putin and that only as long as he pays for Kadyrov pea****ing like some African dictator. They will be a huge headache in the future.

This whole thing surprised me. This isn't something that should put you in this kind of trouble. She has a right to be a c****. And that's all she is, not a criminal. But I can't say a part of me isn't enjoying the sjw dream of "consequences" for words biting a sjw.

I didn't expect there to be no guns though.

That's true. This is last thing I would expect from a Far Cry game in fact.

^ I bet Ubisoft finds a way to put towers in there.

No. Just that whatever one may think of the refugees it's an obvious potential easy doorway for terrorists.
-
The meaning is pretty much as the pictures show. Militants enter Europe amongst the refugees. Some of the pictures look like they may be Iraqi soldiers.
-
One of my gaming dreams is that we'll finally get passed the "collectathon" design model and just the general filler of open world games like "climb 50 towers & liberate 50 camps".

So what is this game supposed to be exactly? Is it just an open world exploration game with no story or goals? Is the ship-to-ship/fps combat pvp or are there NPCs?
