I have not been following Star Citizen much but I've heard many outspoken fans have a cult like devotion to the project. Don't know how true that is myself. Regarding The Escapist I don't doubt that they did check that the former devs they use as a source are who they say they are. It's not just one dev but multiple devs. I suppose purely theoretically it could all be lies made up either by the author of the article or those devs. I don't really believe in the former and the latter wouldn't be the fault of The Escapist who told the story as it was told to them by devs who are credibly devs. Also with the unprecedented ambitiousness and continuous expansion of Star Citizen especially for a crowd sourced game doesn't make it hard to believe that they would bite more than they could chew.

Sniper Elite 3 is a fun little game.

So Polygon writer, Phil Owen, wrote a book titled: Because of course he did. In which he defines journalism as pushing a political agenda. And demonstrates his love of his audience.

A bunch of the usual sjw suspects got invited to Google to help "combat harassment" or something. Honestly I kind of want to see what they could do if someone gave them any real power. So I can sit here with popcorn and watch the bloody mess. Because nothing these people ever make (and they would inevitably make something that targets people for the flimsiest nonsense they will define as "harassment") could be even handed and objective as that would be immediately turned against all the sjw types who regularly flame others. Which leaves only something shady, non-transparent, full of double-standards and hidden privileges that divide people between the right kind of a-holes and the wrong kind of a-holes based on political alignment. The mess would be glorious.
