Bah, it reminded me quite a bit of the Helm's Deep sequence they included in one of the LOTR console games (with the big siege towers and everything) and I'd say note for note the LOTR game looked more impressive In fact, the Crossroads Keep siege would have been a hell of a lot more impressive were it not for the existence of that similar siege. Not Obsidian's fault, by any means, but... eh.

How much content did they put in exclusively for the prestige classes, anyway? I didn't get any for my warpriest. Besides the Warlock, the core classes are preserved. I would have been happy had they just altered content for the races, only a few of whom (particularly the underdark varieties) warrant much special content. Moon elves and Gold Elves don't require a hell of a lot of distinction, but drow do, because they're so wildly different than the other subraces.

Both of you should shut the **** up. Game over. An odd bug I've run into is whenever I go into the Moonstone Mask, it broadcasts a "stand your ground" command to the party indefinitely until I broadcast otherwise. No big deal, really, but it made combat a pain until I figured it out.

But they'd have to go through some effort to secure copies without using the same identifying information or credit cards. Most of the time, a determined individual could probably get away with 2 consoles per store, so they could probably get 4 if they don't move from town to town or something, and that's assuming he's able to even reserve those (considering the demand, he might be able to procure a single console if he waits outside a store, but he can only do that once before they run out). Banshee are elven ghosts. Snow elves I'm not aware of, but there are elves (and dwarves) for just about every clime, excepting perhaps deserts, so I don't see why not.

My pet peeve is people who don't distinguish between the ethical and practical considerations of an issue "may evolve"? So far as I've noticed, the habits of particular mods tend to be pretty uniform over time. I don't see how you wouldn't already cross the threshold from potential annoyance into annoyance as soon as those habits were made apparent.

OFF TOPIC I found the Sims to be kind of fun, I liked the career progressions and such (military ftw) but once socializing your character with NPCs becomes required, it becomes a pain the ass, especially given the fact that you can only barely manage to fulfill the PC's other needs given the time you have. Building and inhabiting the house was fun, though. As for myself, I register if I have to in order to play, on Steam games, for example, or if I need to in order to patch.

I never did find out what Cassie's big shame was. He kind of hinted at it, but the Shadow Priest at the orc cave said something about dark deeds and black hearts and such, and abruptly leaving NW didn't seem to be that big of a deal. Maybe I just wasn't influential enough, or maybe I didn't set off some trigger. I'm assuming the cut content / features aren't the kinds of things that would be included in patches? *btw - Took me about 40 hours or so to beat the game, but going through my second time I've found that I've neglected a few hours' worth of questage.
