It should all be fixed in the next patch. If story and choices matters to people I advice them to refrain from playing until that patch

There seems to be different bugs for everyone, I still can't get Eder to work! he is still night marked, but its fine since I am sure they will fix this in the upcoming patch next week. You might see other mishaps later on in your journey and that is why I will refrain from playing until its resolved.

Afaik they will fix all the related save import with the patch next week.

When this is fixed will it be auto-given to those who have completed it or will we have to do it again? You can just load up your save I guess. I never understood achivements.. its some new generation gimmick to pad people on the head. But to each his own

I think it matters alot to people that actually RP. I simply can't play with Eder having faith.. it ruins the whole immersion for me, but other than that I think the game is awesome, I played 2½ hours, but will reset once the patch is out. I actually can't imagine anyone that likes story and choices being ok with their choices being different

The two known problems early on is. Eder being night marked instead of Mayor and the Orlan baby not being there if you took it. But they have said many other "mishaps" might be there later on and thus you can't know for sure. I don't mind waiting a few days more to get my playthough right. I simply refuse to have a Eder with faith.. I guess you picked night marked.

I've had no game breaking bugs in terms of performance, but alot of people have trouble with the import save (even with the Beta opt) I simply can't play the game with a Eder that has faith! I refuse. But it will be fixed next week, so its all good. I can wait.

It hardly makes a difference for most players tbh. The vast majority of players don't actually play this to get a challange, they play it for the story. I don't want it easy, but I have no need for being punished either. I would not mind if BoB was gone either. I think its a shame so many people use RPG's to hunt achivements and promote themselves, instead of simply playing the game and enjoying them. Nobody is forcing anyone to use BoB

The beta patch does not work for most. Eder is still night marked as well Yes the patch next week should fix it.

I can confirm that I have the same issue as Suen. I had the Eder night market bug on release and now with the "Beta" patch its still there. Guess we have to wait until next week.

Sure, but you might prefer certain outcomes more than others. If you are really curious what will happen if..., you can make this scenario happen. If I were planning to do one playthrough only, I would regret suppressing Iselmyr, or not kidnapping orlan baby. As is, I will leave those for later playthoughs. Well I know that sooner or later I will reply this game.. it might be 6 months it might be a year, but I most likley will, then it would give me the option to start over and try some weird premade outcome.

I will start by importing my Mage and yes I will use the story from the first one.. I actually made some semi messed up choices and I think that will add to the fun. I will be as neutral as I can be as well, I did that in the first game too.. I don't plan out choices, nor do I try to perfect anything, I try to make a decision fast and based upon what my char would do.

My advice would be to go for Trial and Error! Its a great way to be future proof. If you play on normal difficulty than you could also have fun with weird builds.. You don't have to min/max to enjoy this game

I never understood why people want a "perfect" savegame. I played through the first game 5 times and have my mind set out for my Mage. I actually did some odd choices and it was not a happy ending, but more like a bittersweet one.. I think the beauty of rpgs with choices are the fact, that you your choices actually have consequences also for future settings. I tried to play my char as neutral as possible and with a great hate for all "selfmade" gods.

Its a tough one tbh. The only clear one would be the best 1. Planescape: Torment The 2nd and 3rd pick could be various games, but for pure nostalgis purposes 2. BG2 3. Kotor 2 PoE is actually not far away from these, but still beneat those
