  1. Cannoks. Definitely cannoks. The only animals with regular loot...
  2. I'm pretty sure they're referring to the proton cores you're planting all over the Ravager. I'm not certain why they're worried about the Republic, but my guess is they just want to make sure they can slip away after the battle. If the Republic knew there was a large group of Madalorians still out there who had access to high-grade explosives capable of destroying a ship that size, Mandalore's secret little camp could get into some trouble.
  3. To get the LS points for sure, say at first either you're with or against Kreia. Then, when she replies (it should either be something about "doesn't she deserve a chance to be saved" or "I have fallen to the darkside", depending on what you said), side with her, saying you'll help her win so that she can redeem herself, or something like that. I don't think you can get lightside points by siding with your party members, although you can probably stay neutral.
  4. What!? Pacifist package? I've got to see this... I tried loading a savegame after I stabilized Onderon and going to the Not-Male Female Rodian with HK, but nothing happened... WHAT MUST I DOOOO!!!?
  5. It's pretty simple. Slaughter any innocents you come across. Especially with HK. If you want to stay lightside in spirit as well as statistics, you're going to have to settle with low influence on those two.
  6. Wait, confusion: are you having trouble finding the last part, or were you able to reactivate him? If it's the former, I know it's possible to get all the pieces by the time you finish Nar Shadda if you go there first. You have two already, then you get one from the droids in Vogga's warehouse, and the other you can buy... I think from Kodin, although I might be wrong. You can buy one part from a couple people: Kodin (I think), Akkere on Dantooine, and apparently 1B-8D too. The others you have to get through plot related occurences.
  7. I don't think so. Once you've pissed her off, she'll stay closed forever. Sulky little...
  8. I usually send Kreia and Atton. Kreia has the Force power necessary to kill just about anything, and Atton's technical skills and blasters come in handy. Once I sent T3, though, and there was a way to upgrade his intelligence by interfacing him with another droid.
  9. Kind of. It pushes them more in whatever direction your influence propels them. Example: LSF exile, lots of influence with Bao-dur and G0-T0, very little influence with Disciple and Mandalore (this is completely made up). Bao-dur and G0-T0 will be pushed far toward the sparkly light due to your high alignment with them. While Bao-dur may go further to the lightside than G0-T0 because he started as further lightside, they will both go lightside because you are lightside and have lots of influence with them. Disciple and Mandalore will both go far to the darkside, even though Disciple starts as lightside, because they both have low influence with your lightside character. The feat just amplifies the normal effects of the influence system. For instance, you can use it to easily get your party members to light-side/darkside mastery, even though that's usually pretty much impossible.
  10. It happens automatically as a result of your being a Jedi Master. Your influence counts more in either direction with regard to influencing (heh) your party members' alignments.
  11. Weird... the furthest I ever got in that quest as lightside was when I went into the Czerka office before I talked to the Ithorians... I sided with the Ithorians later, after seeing the criminals run out. But I never did get them on the planet... *goes off to replay that section*
  12. Nah. You can't beat viridian... ^_^ I prefer either double or duel wield just because... I mean, it doubles the amount of attacks. Dueling can definitely improve your chances of hitting and damage, but not as much as having 2 other attacks. And double-bladed master flurry also looks awesome.
  13. You can't get there. And it's not the HK factory. It's just a random area, one of the many unfinished areas of the game. Don't read below if you don't want to have stuff spoiled. Unless you've already played through the game.
  14. I'm pretty sure they're making progress. I check every couple days, and there are so many things that are at 80 or 90% now that were at 0 about a month ago.
  15. The next statement is what really scares me. Kreia... sympathetic {Quieter, sudden vulnerability, loves the player like a child}It touched me, and it has left its mark. Every step on our journey shall bring with it discoveries - with persistence, you shall grow in the Force. And for every planet we reach, all that we touch with our presence, you shall grow - for you will have no choice. The last bit kinda sounds like what the council was saying earlier, about how you leech force off people on the worlds you visit. But her previous statement kinda rules that out. I think here she means you have no choice as in you can't not grow if you want to survive against Nihilus and everyone.
  16. LS- Doublebladed Viridian Neutral/Either- Doublebladed Silver DS- Doublebladed Orange (or bronze, or whatever it is) Red is good, and I'd use it for darkside, but it's so overused... seriously, I want to see a Sith (Besides Kreia and the vision of Revan) use a non-red lightsaber. But it is a cool color. When I play DS, I usually give it to at least a couple of my party members.
  17. I agree. And to support this point of view, looky what I found in the dialog.tlk: {Quiet, respectful, proud of player}The Jedi Council was wrong, you know. Your bonding with others... it is not due to the Force. It is simply who you are - it is the human part of you. Kind of a shock... Kreia complimenting you, that is.
  18. I'd say have them both in it. To solve the problem of people who like to have them one gender/appearance, you could just add two customization screens at the beginning of the game. So before you play, you have the option of customizing Revan and the Exile, and if you don't want to, it could do a random skin and canon gender/alignments. It shouldn't be that hard to program different gender responses. The only real impact either of the two could really have on the game that relates to their gender and alignment is the Exile--whether or not Atton went with him/her. Or you could simplify things and have him be dead. And if that would be too complicated, I'd rather the game designers just include them both as canon than they not be in there. C'mon, people... it's not like you'd be playing as them anyway. ^_^
  19. Wow. That was... I want a dartgun now. On topic once more: Jarjar = MOST STUPID THING EVER! Atton = funniest Jolee = best at being both.
  20. When reading other threads, I noticed that most, though not all, of the posters hated Disciple with a passion. Myself included. But when you think about it, there are always annoying characters. Everyone hates G0-T0, for instance (sorry, nearly everybody), but he doesn't seem to get as much conversation as Disciple. So I was just hoping we could get a discussion of legitimate reasons why people hate or don't hate him. My personal explanation: Not only is he a stupid, stuck up, super-pro Republic idget (I play lightside, and he still annoys me to death), with the cut content, he ends up being pretty much the only real romance option as female. You can get some lines from Atton early on, but even if you have 0 influence with him, Disciple is always the one who comes to cheer you up in the cargo hold. So annoying....
  21. The main differences between female and male exiles can be summarized in three points: Sion vs. Atris: Either way, one of them loves you. From my point of view, Sion's more interesting, just because it's more in-game. With Atris, it's more about what happened in the Mandalorian Wars and your trial; the current stuff is mostly just bitterness. Sion's thing is kinda creepy, but also interesting. The way he hates you because he loves you, how he kinda can't cope with the idea of loving someone. Handmaiden vs. Disciple: Here I have to admit, male exile wins. Disciple... that's the one character I REALLY wish I could kill. Even though I'm normally lightside. Handmaiden's pretty cool, too, although I don't think she beats Visas. Definitely male exile here. Cut Content: This is where female exile has a definite point. With the male endings, it's As far as I know, anyway. Female, you have There's some minor other stuff of course, mainly just small interactions with Atton/Disciple/Visas/Handmaiden, but as far as I can tell, these are the three main points. I'd say female, just 'cause I thought the Sion stuff was interesting, better than Atris, anyway, and the cut content (sending happy/hopeful thoughts to Team-Gizka) looks way better. In the end, it's just preference, though.
  22. Did you actually manage it? Did anyone get both, besides whoever wrote the guide?
  23. Actually, if you run right away, while they're still doing shields and stuff, you can get around the bar to the extent that they wont come after you at all. They'll just sit there, dying slowly. No need to use grenades or mines, just wear down their health and shields. I've done it four times now.
  24. The last time I played through, I went to Nar Shadda first. I wandered around doing all possible sidequests, got Atton to be a jedi, etc. I finally went back to the Ebon Hawk and dealt with the Red Eclipse. Then Visas showed up; I dealt with her... I exited the ship and my game crashed. After a restart, I loaded my most recent quicksave, from when the Red Eclipse were on board. Except, somehow I ended up in the Refugee Sector, the same spot where I met the two Twi'leks. With no one in my party. I go to the party selection screen, and I have no party. At the top of the screen it says "0 availiable slots". At the bottom, above my character's picture, there's some rather unusual text: "I am broken" "So very very broken" Yup, that's my weirdest bug yet.
