  1. Exactly. And it was more than 5 I think. So will this be advanced 5+ times? lol I wish.
  2. So is it like the opposite of KOTOR 1? I'm going to learn that TSL came out yesterday or something, aren't i.
  3. I just read something from June while looking through Gamespy articles trying to find prestige class info. is now being pegged for a "winter" date according to the game's official product page at Lucas Arts. The follow-up role-playing game title for the Xbox and PC was originally listed for February 2005. Visit the official product page for more information on this promising title. This is from Gamespy, just so you guys know. WINTER RELEASE DATE? Is this true? We've all been saying Feb.
  4. I remember that. Trying to find it right now. I'm largely unsuccessful. Help me out with a link plz?
  5. No, no. I agree with you they are about the same. Unlike what KOTOR 1 encouraged, I liked designing my characters by roleplaying...sorta. Anyway, I chose what I liked, not what was the most overpowered. I liked the sentinal background, so it is my favorite class. Now I need to know the background for these prestige classes (cause watchman is not in the pnp as a class in the power of the jedi). Then I can make an adaquate decision.
  6. I think that's been happening for a week now. Give or take a couple weeks.
  7. TG. If I here musha shaka pake one more time..... Instead of that they're going to say ki-ponna (spelling?) all the time just to spite me.
  8. If it's the same, why make it another class? I know it's the very very very approximated equivilant, but there have to be some major differences.
  9. Need more info. I mean, what's a watchman? I know the SW history, but what's this game's interpretation? I know the pnp weapon master and master. What is assassin special abilities. That stuff. So far I'm leaning towards watchman as going full combat oriented is boring, but partially combat oriented is really fun.
  10. Well maybe you should have the option to use your single saber in two hands.
  11. Ls and Ds. Male and Female. Guardian, Sentinal, and Consular. Scoundrel, Scout, Soldier. I count around 36 potential. Some more different than the other, but still...
  12. The whole infinite power of the force is more of a theoretical thing. The force has the potential to be infinitely powerful, but it really doesn't happen. Even Zomma can't master the force and who knows how old it is. Besides, if you are killed, there's not much the force can do about that. Sometimes. Anyway, the force is only good if you use it. If even a ultimately powerful jedi is really careless and gets caught off guard, then they can't use the force if they are shot through the heart. Thus armor, The more you are hurt (physically), the lesser your control of the force is (or more like harder it is to control). Also, I have never read anything before about armor restricting force usage until I played KOTOR. Also, alot of people don't let themselves go into the force 24/7. It has its own disadvantages (you don't really think for yourself that much and stuff).
  13. I dunno. Depends which you were talking about with defense.
  14. I used to like Bastila (not my fav but she was pretty good). Then so many people babbled about and worshiped her here that I've found myself hating her for just that reason.
  15. Consular all the way. And one thing ive been meaning to ask is: Is sentinal good? never tried it. I think sentinal might be the best. They get hurt with stats, but never getting stunned? That's awesome. Besides, who needs more firepower once you've gotten the yavin special crystals. I found as a Sentinal I could go toe-to-toe with anyone around as well as a guardian.
  16. Actually due to coordination problems and keeping track, wouldn't single be better on D?
  17. Then this is where you use force wave alot. All those force points make it easy. TripleRRR I was refering to an earlier post where someone said they almost never used sabers with consulars and that saber sparring isn't that applicable to consulars. Consulars are quite compotent with sabers. I think that depending on who you fight, you could have a different type of competition (vs. a consular guy force, versus guardian saber, and versus a soldier guns). Maybe something like you choose 1 out of three possible opponents. Then you fight your person. Each time you win the fights get progressively harder. Items can't be used btw. ANyway, you have maybe 5 fights with each person (with 1st really easy and 5th nearly impossible). When you win the 5th, you get the +1 thing.
  18. Ummmm, YA. JA was around a 4 hour game. Kotor is an rpg, and thus is almost guarenteed to be longer. Anyway, I never needed any help. Wait, I needed a little help for the Korriban ring puzzle thing, but it was because I was too lazy and tired. Later I went through it using problem solving and got it right. Anyway, walkthroughs are needed. That's one of my only problems with the game. It was easy enough to sleepwalk through it without walkthroughs on average.
  19. If i remember right in the pnp the most two-weapon-fighting and ambidexterity help is bringing it down to -2-4 (a saber is medium weight). But you get another extra attack. I think that the single saber was much more effective on defense. WIth dueling you got that +3 defense (nice). With a scoundrel/guardian and all your defense related stuff you were prettymuch untouchable. But anyway, I do agree that (especially in early game) it's too easy to use something other than single saber.
  20. I agree, but you didn't use saber much with consulars? I did alot. They're good enough to handle your average sith and stuff, but you can't go toe to toe with Malak.
  21. I did alot of pazaak also. Still around 20 hours. Then again, that doesn't include the time skipped by the infamous quick load. All sidequests but signing Nico and tatooine track (it was all buggy on my computer and I couldn't do it because of that).
  22. I can only find the final book in hardcover grrrr. And I'm a little low on cash, so I'm waiting for it to come out non-hardcover. It really stinks 'cause I've read all the others. Is it good?
  23. Yah, the speech did get repetitive with all the aliens of one species having the same voice and words. I'd like to have maybe 3X as many possiblities, so that different aliens used different words and voices, but didn't need to have a unique one for each character.
  24. I agree, but is this supposed to be in the suggesstins forum?
  25. The Vong are a cool original idea. The series just overuses them. I mean, you get bored of anyone with 20 consecutive books just about them.
