  1. You might find that Robin Hobb books get better the more you read, while RA Salvatore do the exact opposite. Been ages since I've read Salvatore, but I remember his writing improving as the series went on? Or am I just completely misremembering? I'm probably halfway through the Drizzt series and he definitely got better after the Icewind Dale Trilogy (the first series he wrote). I think his depiction of the Underdark is pretty awesome. I kinda wish there were more well written forgotten realms novels as I love the universe.
  2. Just wanted to say that this is a neat little game, it's pretty easy for the most part but there are some difficult boss battles. I think Dan Tudge left Bioware to make this game after dragon age origins. I think it feels like a mix between Nwn 2 And DA0. I think the developer went under though after release. You can have a party of 4 including your companion and I think it is based on dnd 5th edition.
  3. You might find that Robin Hobb books get better the more you read, while RA Salvatore do the exact opposite. Yeah I read Salvatore books mostly for the lore. I like to read about the forgotten realms while I play icewind dale or baldurs gate.
  4. One time I thought I had worms in my stool, so I dissected my own feces in the sink. Even after the examination I still wasn't sure, think that was 5 years ago.
  5. I'm reading Siege of Darkness, a forgotten realm novel about dark elf named Drizzt. There are a lot of books based on his character so I'm between books sometimes I'll pick up something else. I'm also reading Assassins Apprentice by Robin Hobb which I'm enjoying so far.
  6. I went to see Arrival, I thought it was just okay, but something tellls me that maybe a lot of it went over my head. I'm not very smawt
  7. I'll be honest I didn't even know this was an obsidian game until some time after I completed it, never would have guessed either. It's one game that I won't be returning to. Edit: not saying the game sucks by any means, if you enjoy action rpgs then you'll probably find some enjoyment. Just nothing special.
  8. Silent Hill 2 when I heard the whispering in the blue creek apartments, thought I was hearing things so creepy. Baldurs Gate beating Sarevok without using wands of summoning. Fought him melee. Ocarina of time when the game freezes at the end with you and Zelda as children. Morrowind having the freedom to break into any house having my own place to keep my loot all set up on tables. Oblivion/Skyrim, killing the first innocent and getting the letter from the Dark Brotherhood, "we know". Witch Wild Hunt, walking through the forest at night with just a torch, also besting Von Evevric in combat. Silent Hill 4, the feeling of loneliness being locked in an apartment the only way out through an otherworld inhabited my horrifying creatures. The fireworks at the end of every Mario level, I always wondered where they came from and who was firing them.
  9. My first favorite city in a video game was Hyrule in oot. Next it was Balmora in Morrowind. Later on I got into CRPGs and loved Berogost, kuldahaur and East Haven. But no city has been like Novigrad, blows me away.
  10. I just finished another BG play through with a Cavelier. So I'm in between games right now, not sure what I want to play. I'm always torn between replaying an older game or trying a new one. I feel a freedom between games. Im open to recommendations, I like rpgs of course, and survival horror. Does anyone have any experience with Drankensang?
  11. CRPG is my favorite genre but a Dark Alliance game would be cool.
  12. Lord of the Rings Online was the only mmo I liked just because you could visit the shire. I couldn't get into Shadow of Mordor just want a good maybe semi open world Lotr rpg. I want to see mountains again Gandalf.
  13. I hope it's longer than the first. Even though I got 90 hours, I feel like there should be more. Some things I'd like to see: denser cities, maybe something like a city that is built underground (like Menzobaerrzon or the under city of baldurs gate). Larger maps, factions or guilds that have more quests, an astral realm that can be explored maybe during death (say you make a pact with an other worldly denizen and you have to make your way back to the living realms), more random npcs that you meet in the wilds (baldurs gate had a lot of these). Maybe 90 hours is enough but for me it went by way to fast!
  14. I don't miss the random encounters especially if I have a limited number of camp supplies. I do like some of the encounters like assassins that may be quest related however. I just played through baldurs gate again and each time it happens I instantly reload.
