  1. I never quite understood why people make a fuss about it. I've read about the subject, seen the differences and it does not provide a good enough reason for hardcore fanboys to keep getting aneurisms over. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Agreed there, while I preferred it with Han first it certainly isn't something worth arguing or winging about. There are far more important things in live.
  2. In gaming isn't a game going gold the game going to shipping?
  3. I'm guessing the biggest case of this in KOTOR II is Luxa, who pretty much comes on to you male or female. She is some Star Wars species that is known for drugs and sexuality, so it makes sense. The only other time I recall is Atris, who still confessed some kind of romantic affection for me after sparing her life. Mira says it, but I don't think she means it in that way, more like a girl saying 'she's really beautiful' or 'she's gorgeous' just mening it like that.
  4. woot! http://pcgames.gwn.com/articles/article.php/id/739/p/2/ http://pcgames.gwn.com/articles/article.php/id/739/p/2/
  5. "Team Gizka at it's finest" is what you meant to say. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually, it should be 'Team Gizla at its finest' "It's" is "it is".
  6. I play through the following order as LS in KOTOR 2: Nar Shaddaa (Can get the three lightsaber parts for simple tasks) Dxun/Onderon Part I (Last time on my playthough Zez-Kai Ell mentioned Kavar being the one who told the Jedi to visit worlds the Exile went to, so searching out Kavar made sense) Dantooine (Figured I'd get my last party member, as well as wanting to find the three living masters first) Dxun/Onderon Part II Korriban (I like doing this last, you get somewhat of an anti-climax when you find Lonna Vash dead after finding all the others alive. The duel with Sion and the vision in the Shyrack cave suitably set up Traya's true nature at a time close to the middle of the story. Darksided: Dantooine Nar Shaddaa (Never gotten further than that)
  7. I'd agree, by the time the KOTOR games are set in Ossus is pretty much a graveyard after it was pummeled by Exar Kun. But there would be the ruins of the old academy and ancient jedi library there. It is basically like the Lightsided Korriban. I think it would be a good planet to visit. As for the concept of bigger planets, I personally get incredibly sick of a planet after too much time on it. I personally feel that Korriban was a suitable length for the context of the planet, it served its purpose and if it was any longer I feel it would have been pushing it. Storyline wise told us what happened to Lonna Vash, have us encounter Sion once more and have him put doubt in our character's mind about Kreia, which would similarly be reinforced by the vision of her in the cave. Nar Shadaa was borderline to the point of getting tedious, Dantooine was fine in my opinion, it could have been a bit longer. Onderon/Dxun were perfect in length for me.
  8. Memory serves it originally was a minor plot point, with Visas healing a wound Mandalore received and them walking the surface of Malachor V together later. Personally I didn't mind it, it makes perfect sense. Visas would have to be there. Period. Otherwise her character arc (darksided or lightsided) would be completely destroyed. Did you need Mandalore? No but with the Mandalorians aiding you (supposedly) somewhat it made a hell of a lot of sense.
  9. I gave my first one to Xaart and my second to Terlyn.
  10. I agree, but I think we should discover the fates of Revan and the Exile without actually seeing them at all. I'd like to see a combination of Jedi Robe styles, I liked the ones in KOTOR II but I also really liked the ones in the original game.
  11. Bastard Microsoft! *closes MSN Messenger, Microsoft Word, Windows Media Player, Microsoft Movie Maker and forgets that I'm running on Windows XP*
  12. Well you can't exactly say that Lorso was working for the better of the community by smuggling the two serial killers onto Telos and the some ten or so other bad things she did.
  13. Barely though, and it was really a lot of the 'super action hero' element of Windu coming through, which honestly made me hate the character to ten thousand degrees as the most annoying character in Star Wars. (Yes that is right. I place JAR JAR ahead of Windu!) And Palps was clearly throwing the fight in the film.
  14. Peragus was a great start as it involved the player's concentration completely. Trying to piece together in your mind what happened, investigating the lethal dose of sedatives in the Med Bay. I enjoyed it a lot the first time, and the second time I breezed through it because I knew what I was doing a lot more.
  15. Making the assumption that the KOTOR games are only going to be a trilogy. Personally I'd rather not see them again. I'd like to hear about them, but not actually come face to face with them (maybe Revan in his armour)
  16. GOTO. No questions about it.
  17. Depends on what you say to him. You can peacefully negotiate a deal for the Ithorians if you let him live.
  18. I always thought it had something to do with Dark Side bloodlust or rage or something similar. Anakin has them when he is slaughtering the Separatist leaders and when he's burning up due to Obi-Wan. Darth Maul always has him, and when Sidious stops masking his tainted appearance (I'd say it had been magnified to some degree by the force lightning, but he was definately masking his true appearance) he always has them. Some kind of explanation could be that Darth Maul and Sidious practically live and breath the dark side, they have a limitless hate and thus it shows. Dooku always striked me as calm and in control so him not having them might make sense.
  19. I found the ending satisfying, but it could have been mind blowing if LucasArts hadn't pushed for a holiday release.
  20. When it comes to Star Wars the Star Wars wikipedia is a much better source than wikipedia. Here ends to be much more accurate and in line with established canon etc. And here is their lightsaber combat article. More detailed in general, each form has its own article with more details.
  21. Alternatively, using cheat you can add level until you reach it. Of course, when you save after doing it you get this big guilty yellow "CHEAT USED' over your save file picture.
  22. I voted Makashi due to the fact I prefer the style in visual appearance in the films. But I used Niman frequently in my game. Got through the Trayus Academy easily.
  23. I would really like these 'True Sith' if they appear in KOTOR III to be really, really bad ass Sith, completely remorseless and evil and I want us to see this rather than being told it. I think we should not actually see the Exile and Revan, however we should hear about them from a party member gained along the way. Perhaps a turn around Sith rookie or something who was born into the 'True Sith' but never agreed with their cruelty and beleifs. Or something like that and we hear how the Exile and Revan had caused disension among the Sith ranks, spread beliefs of compassion (again this would depend on what status you pick, they could pull the Atton trick with this again) etc through them, causing a civil war of sorts that forced the True Sith to expand their boundaries. If you choose darksided of course it would be something like Revan and the Exile lead a rebellion or something. I'd prefer generally new party members, T3 and HK-47 should return of course. Exile's companions should appear as Jedi in the Jedi Order, but not as party members (I think however, due to Visas being sacraficable on the Ravager they would not be able to have her appear in game unless they come up with something to set it and pulled something like they did with Carth in TSL. Maybe at the beginning your character could be being quized by your master about certain events, as part of your trial for becoming a Jedi Knight)
  24. I use the 'beast trick' force power whenever I get the chance, as once they're stunned they die in like one hit regardless.
