  1. Glad to have you on the stream! Were you 3rdtryguy? I think I recall him asking about the Brimstone Hammer. Hope you enjoyed, you caught me five hours into the stream and I was probably not too eloquent by then.
  2. We're almost there! I won't be around much today due to a pretty busy day, but I'll have a look at any lists received throughout the day tonight. What I have received and tallied so far: Bartimaeus Leferd Raithe Katphood redneckdevil Pidesco IndiraLightfoot eimatshya Fenixp ShadySands Hurlshot Keyrock Tigranes SonicMage117 evilcat Epaminondas Amentep TrueNeutral Zoraptor Malcador injurai marelooke Mamoulian War melkathi Jozape Humanoid Fiasco ZyroMane Huinehtar Wormerine Messier-31 Lemme know if I'm missing anyone. The poll will be closing tomorrow night!
  3. So here's a thing I made yesterday following the protests at the Argentine Congress on monday:
  4. Three days to go! Lists received and tallied so far: Bartimaeus Leferd Raithe Katphood redneckdevil Pidesco IndiraLightfoot eimatshya Fenixp ShadySands Hurlshot Keyrock Tigranes SonicMage117 evilcat Epaminondas Amentep TrueNeutral Zoraptor Malcador injurai marelooke Mamoulian War melkathi Jozape Humanoid Fiasco ZyroMane Huinehtar Lemme know if I'm missing anyone. Who else is working on their lists right now?
  5. It's a damn good band. There used to be a time back in the 70s when Jan Akkerman was commonly thought on par with Hendrix, so I've read. It worth tracking down Focus 3 and Hamburger Concerto from them, as well as Focus 2 which obviously has that gem on it (though, personally, I don't think the rest of the album is nearly as good - still fine though).
  6. Wait! I actually forgot one I used to play a *LOT* before SimCity 2000 too... This! And perhaps Treasure MathStorm! even more. I used to *love* these Super Solvers/Super Seekers games back then. Can't believe I forgot about them! Also the Trail series (Oregon, Amazon and so on).
  7. How powerfull is your PC for streaming such an old gem? I was thinkung also streaming for fun some older games from my backlog, but because my main gaming platform is last 15 years Playstation brand, my PC is bellow recommended settings on twitch. i3 2100 PC is still more than enough for all my PC gaming needs. I have an i7 processor, 24GB RAM, and a GTX 760 graphics card. Also 20mb/s internet connection. The game's been running quite well as have most other games I've streamed at a bitrate of about 1800, though I had to drop it down to 1200 for Transistor for some reason. Speaking of which, I'll be streaming a fair bit today too. I'll be restarting the stream in 30-45 minutes, was just taking a break to run a quick errand.
  8. I think SimCity 2000 may have been my very first game, at least not amongst the ones included in the very first computer I had access to (of which I recall really enjoying its version of mahjong).
  9. Weirdly enough I have noticed that at least two users who've so far voted have never posted in the forums. I wondered about them being alts, but given how their selection of titles didn't seem to match any other's I opted to include them anyways. But all the same I'd bring up the question to you guys: do you think these posters ought to be allowed to vote? Or would they be too suspicious to do so? Personally I welcome any list but I would have trouble with those attempting to game the system.
  10. I've been playing through Planescape: Torment again and streaming it via Twitch, along with my poorly-spoken, heavily-accented Engrish commentary. If anyone would like to join at some point, this is my channel: https://www.twitch.tv/alephg
  11. Four days to go, fellas! How are the lists coming along, from those who've yet to take part?
  12. Meh. If you didn't much care for the gameplay mechanics of FO3 (and I personally thought they were not that good as well as outrageously clunky), there ain't much of a point. Well, I have only played the first two Fallouts, so even that is uncertain with me. I'll get around to it, I intend to play it for certain, just haven't found the time as of yet to do so.
  13. Starting off a fight with full focus seems fairly strange too, since I think the powers of ciphers are kinda balanced around the fact that they cannot go all-in on their abilities as soon as combat starts, and have to build up on them over time. In fact it's the starting focus pool that was one of the aspects nerfed on release, given how strong the class turned out to be initially. I'm all for an alternative charging mechanism but I reckon having to charge your focus up would still be a necessity for the class to be balanced - unless there could also be a tradeoff in power for having immediate access to a fully charged focus too, but I'm not so sure about that.
  14. I haven't played New Vegas yet, actually. I know, I know, what am I doing in this place, right?
  15. They did speak a bit about this in the Q&A: they had to cut time in some places for the release of the first Pillars and so a rigorous editing pass wasn't made on the game in the end; but they said they will be doing one this time around, as they are keeping more on schedule and so on.
  16. We're five days away!
