  1. Maybe give out 5 free chests to anyone that had logged in from x time to time of the fix as a apology. A olive branch. That way, those that haven't logged in due to the compatibility issue don't get free chests, and those that lost work get free chests as a sort of "i'm sorry! But thanks for playing, and keep playing!" *insert "you made bro" face here"*
  2. I guess those of us with older phones have to wait a few days longer
  3. Force stop the App, make it restart. Play the scenerio where the reward assigns roles. See if you can get a role reward. That might force a bypass in the coding if you are lucky. Worth a try in any case. On a side note, what power was so good that you bypassed role powers to get it?
  4. AD 5 is done ev'rywhere you go Take a look in the five-and-ten, it's AD5 once again With misty and frosty dice that glow. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, AD5 in ev'ry store, But the prettiest sight to see is the AD6 that will be On your own mobile. A pair of slaying axes and a slaying bow that shoots Is the wish of Barney and Ben, clockworks that will talk and will go for a walk Is the hope of Janice and Jen, Mom and Dad can hardly wait for new updates to start again. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas Ev'rywhere you go, There's AD5 in the Grand Hotel, one in the park as well, It's the sturdy kind that doesn't mind the snow.
  5. IT's not a complaint. It's feedback. Which is kinda why the forums exist. It seems there are two groups of people on this: the I don't cares, and the I want its. Either way, it is what it is. No one will know your opinion if you don't put it out there.
  6. Yeah, if you're built for explore, and your chars can solo encounters without blessings or help, go 4. But you have to go fast, exactly like you said. At 3 locations, there is a 33% chance that a location will be hit. At 4 locations, there is a 24% chance a location will be hit. at 8 locations, 12.5% Where I am going with that is that, with more locations, there is a smaller chance a location will be hit twice, and at less locations, there is a higher chance a location will be hit twice. Add in that you still have to get more allies with 8 locations. Add in that you might have characters that can't get past barriers and get stuck. Add in that, if you don't have blessings, you have to get someone that can help to move from one location to another until they get to the right spot (something you only have to worry about on legendary.) Don't get me wrong, rnGesus still owns your success in the end here. But, with one or two VERY capable characters busting out explores, the math is in your favor. Another factor that can make this easier is to wait to play this on legendary until you beat adventure deck 5, then go back and do this on legendary. The skill/power/ equipment boost is pretty significant.
  7. it FEELS like, when I get new cards for the story mode, that those new cards show up FAR more often than cards that are not as new. Like there's a "look at the shiny new bling" variable programmed in.
  8. Should this be able to auto recharge a necklace of fireballs? Just lost one, got banished, failed the check... but it SEEMS like it should be. Not 100% sure though.
  9. After your characters hit level 30, it gets better. I have two hastes, two lightning bolts, a force bolt, a fire bolt, two orbs of firestorm. I also came across a impaler and a wand of enervetion from level up loot. You could use stride as a poor man's hasten.. granted, no extra explore.
  10. Definitely harder with more locations. My best run on flood are two characters that can dig through decks fast and hit their checks. Double up. With 4 locations, you need 5 allies to win. With 8 locations, you need 9. Selah and lini. They hit almost any check. Lini gets augury. Obviously, you can't use Selahs crusade. But her blessing should recharge by that point. Much faster too... if you get screwed by maga rng, which can happen the same with 8 locations, much better to have less prep time. Search a location until you get two allies from it, and move on. Should have 4 allies by the time your second characters first turn ends. I am talking legendary. Much much easier at lower difficulties. But still easier with less locations.
  11. The party you play isn't just about individual strength. Synergy.... kyra has naughty that she can turn into heals... so no need for single cure spells on her, load her with attack and support. High wis means she can solo wis close locations. Selah is a Jack of all trades. Her ability to add a die can recharge blessings and spells, so it is spammable. Her ability is very good at digging through decks, so is basically up to two extra explores a turn. She can handle closing locations outside her main line of bonuses. Ezren... he has alot of spells, and Alot of items, and a nice chunk of allies, and can spell cycle, and gets extra explore when He finds spells. He is a beast at support, and can hold his own in combat as long as he can use spells. Seoni is a powerhouse. Auto recharge spells and many items. You can get it to where she only has her hand size in her deck, and you are constantly cycling those spells over and over. Just don't take damage. Valeros. A bit slow, but can infinitely use the discard abilities of weapons. Also gives a good passive buff to characters at the same location. Meris... meri. She is ok in combat when solo, but can skip past nastier battles. Now, one of the biggest things about the party is the range of closing abilities. Have a Dec closer. A wis. A cha. A int. A str/con. And a Jack of all trades. It allows me to have everyone EFFECTIVELY solo locations with minimal support
  12. Sajan is hard because he is only good with blessings in hand. Can't really afford to use them for exploring, and you need to do at least one a battle typically. Amiri is hard because she burns out so fast. And we're talking bury... once she is out, it's not a matter of cure. Lem is hard because his passive is one of his best abilities to add to checks to other chars at same location. Plus his core ability requires recharge... so, when his turn comes, his hand tends to be empty. He is pretty much 100% support, and is not the guy you want fighting anything. Lini is hard because she HAS to have a animal or she is kinda handicapped. Also, she defaults to no weapon. Harsk is hard because he doesn't have big all around combat bonuses, plus, while his sniper shot is solid... you can not be at the same location and use it.
  13. you do know that there are wildcards rules for legendary encounters, right? And some say things like "If you bury x many cards for y reason, banish a card" right? And some scenerios have you bury extra cards when you pass a check for a boon? Even if it is only bury... you can cure a discard, but not a bury. Granted, you can carry shovels everywhere. But what are you giving up to carry that shovel? OR even if it is only discard upon passing the check, it could just be that one time that it would actually cause your character to die. If you play with permadeath on, bye bye character... although I assume raise dead will still work until the end of the scenerio? I would assume yes, but have not tested it... Granted, many of these, AT CURRENT, are events that do not occur very often. But checks are getting harder, and characters are reaching their ceilings. It WILL be more significant if the current trend continues. Which is why it is being mentioned NOW. BEFORE it becomes game breaking.
  14. this wasn't comprehensive enough? http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/86431-comprehensive-video-explanation-of-the-rules/ The tutorial stage also explained it very well, from what I remember of it.
  15. Had the same problem as original poster. Also, it seems that if I encounter any that get the same modification, the game seems to think it's already defeated and gone... so one of two things happen. I auto defeat it, or the game locks up. Then, if I force stop app and reopen, it will roll the die to see what attribute the ogrekin gets, but will not let me encounter it. Can only forfeit at that point. It has happened with ALL my characters.
  16. The location states "On closing, you may recharge an ally from your discard pile" Normal circumstances, you only recharge one. Working as intended. HOWEVER. Let's say you have a haste spell in hand. you go to cast then, and you are selecting a character to target. You decide you don't want to use it, and you cancel out. You can now recharge another ally from the discard. you can do this 100% of the time, multiple times in the same turn.
  17. Suggestion. Instead of (here's this specific named boon shortsword +1) Why not have it be (choose a (specific card type) from your card vault for adventure deck B(when below level 10, deck 1 level 10 to 20, etc) Because the current rewards are poo retry bad after level 20.
