BTW one tipp: revisit the ruins in valewood with companions that have high athletics and one that has high mechanics... You will find gloves that will give +2 Dex and a necklace that gives +2 per... Very worth it this early on. They are guarded by a pack of wolves though... And they are hidden. Good luck

Should the EU become the United States of Europe? What do you think?
Ben No.3 replied to Ben No.3's topic in Way Off-Topic
How is the EU government unelected? Parliament is elected directly, council consists of our (elected) governments, commissions are put in place by (elected) governments. -
There is one watcher ability... Dual soul or something along that... It is a full attack and has an ridiculously high DR bypass. Might be worth it. EDIT: it is "sever the soul", and it does a full attack, weakens the target and has a DR bypass of 25... How awesome is that?! How is this not part of every single barbarian or blast wizard build?

Any suggestions for stat distribution / talents etc ?i think i´ll stick with chanter now, just would like to know what would be the best approach to use this class if i go for pallegina and èder in the frontline too ! Have a look at the build guide, there are three great builds by some better people... Two melee tanks and one ranged gunner.

Chanter is a great class, very intuitive and easy to use, little micro, very powerful. So your main can be your tank alongside pallegina and Eder. If you want to use only one tank but want to keep both characters, have a look into the gunslinger build or use pallegina as a DD. Although I'd probably rather have my main and pallegina as a tank and Eder as a DD... Fighters are underwhelming tanks in comparison to paladin or chanter. Priests are great classes lore wise, gameplay wise they may be even the stronges, but if you are not familiar with the mechanics their powers can seem quite underwhelming. But I think chanter tanks are a great first class... Easy to use, very effective, and good mental stats (per, int, res).

Heh, that's fine I'm looking for some way to combine DD and tank in a barbarian, and my problem was always not enogh acc or not enough speed, so I'm putting my hope in flails. I also wanted a fast weapon that looks cruel enough, and a hatchet doesn't do that but hey, that's just taste Edit: also speaking realistically, wielding to flails might be quite a challenge... Wielding one is already hard enough Also, it's "only" a 10% chance to daze a single target... Even with carnage, the shouts/screams are still worth it, even if only as openers, or to affect back liners, etc.... But yeah, purley from a powergame-perspective the hachet is better

I was thinking I would use forgotten tears of the beloved (flail from one of the first WM bounties). It looked great for this build: Dazed is a nice debuff, especially with carnage, it has some nice spellbinds (prayer against treachery, surpressor affliction) that can be really useful, graze to hit means that I won't need to invest into per, and still trigger dazed (as it is on both crit and hit, at least according to gamebanshee). Flails also have a nice development for uniques... Early on you got gaun's share, then unforgiven and then forgotten tears or starcaller. It is also a small weapon, so it's fast, but the look still fits an barbarian (very important ). Since a flail does not need very high acc you don't need to heavily invest in per and go for Dex.

I just realised I never gave dragons maw to a barbarian. Furthermore, I realised I had no idea how to build that barbarian. Anything I came up with I found to slow or not hitting hard enough. But there must be a good barb+shield damage dealing tank right? In more clear words: I'm looking for a tank/DD hybrid, preferably with focus on DD... Looking not for something like the leech but a more "classic"/"old school" approach... If possible a barbarian tank with dragons maw and medium armour. Any advice is welcome

Well.. This thread has developed Just to be a downer: what makes blast/WF adv/dangerous implements definitely worth it is the minor blights... Especially since they give a +20 acc bonus. Here are some numbers I just tested, with might 21, tested with an unfortunate moon spider (no animals were harmed) Graze: 21, 27 with dangerous implements Hit: 34, 42 with implements Crit: 50, 63 with dangerous implements Just to remind you, they are technically wands, so they are fast weapons. And this is single target... Damage output will be crazy with blast.
