I don't suppose you have a save from just before entering or on the Hawk taking it back from the Eclipse? Also, did you skip Cahmakts lines? Sorry for all the questions, but to fix stuff like this, I really need to know what triggered it in the first place. It is pretty elusive, only 2 people out of 10000+ reporting it...

It would require many MANY file modifications. As such, I don't think anyone tried so far...

Old games wanted on Steam/GOG
Hassat Hunter replied to Hassat Hunter's topic in Computer and Console
Wow, was that in 2000? Pretty sure I still have it around somewhere. Didn't play it much. Google search says you can get it to run on Win7, btw. I wouldn't know, not having it. But doesn't that make it that much better for GOG to update it? -
Annoyances leading to me giving up 1; Damn bossfight camera/fight control. Replaying the same damn planets in the end. Very long fights without savepoint inbetween. Killing 10 supersoldiers than dying to an AT-AT and have to re-do it all over can get very annoying. But the final straw was the Destroyer/TIE-fighter battle. Gripping them all is such a pain, I just plain gave up seeing how this with all above it was more like doing work than having fun...

Pretty sure there was a thread like this. But it's buried. And Steam and GOG always expend their catalogue so it might be outdated as well. So here a new thread for the question... What games do you miss on services like Steam or GOG? Old games you really want to (re)play, but don't get the opportunity since they're impossible to find. Or run. Let me start with the 3 that come to my mind; * Star Wars Rogue Squadron. Fun little arcade game. Sadly enough my brother owned it. And since we no longer live together, I obviously should get my own copy. However, easier said than done. * No One Lives Forever Loved the demo's (now we barely get any, then you got 3 ). But never got the opportunity to play the full real game. Also played the demo's of NOLF2, but that just oozed with 'do not want'... such a step backward. Shame this classic is also nowhere to be found * Rage of Mages Probably not as well-known as the above titles, I did have some fun with this game when I was younger. I wouldn't know if it would have passed the time unharmed, but I would be willing to find out for a cheap price . However, it was already hard to find at release, impossible now... What titles do you guys miss?

Wanted to finish The Force Unleashed before uninstalling it (really can use that 29gb). However I just fend "screw this" and uninstalled it without finishing it because it annoyed the living daylight out of me. Which isn't like me at all. No idea why some people seem to prefer TFU1, I hereby definitely disagree. Atleast 2 still had me try instead of just giving up in annoyance over the dozens and dozens of things that are completely wrong with it...

Regarding DX:HR... the 'punch walls' pays itself back since it's 1 praxis point, and the only way to gain one "hidden" praxis point. Free upgrade. But yeah, rather useles. Not as useless as 'find out what your chance is of successful hack' praxis upgrade... since that did... well... nothing, it already does that without investing the point... :/ And yeah, I definitely prefer DX's melee over HR's. Having to aim at specific places, weaponry made different effects (just think Dragon's Tooth vs. Baton). Sigh... why new game designers? Why?

#1 Prologue; Chatting up with 3C-FD. Peragus; Kreia saying "Ebon Hawk" instead of "ship"... unless you notice the typo fixes and removal of "implants" with the feat help-description during character creation already

#5 Reads Steam forum; "It doesn't have the widescreen native, but the HD Music and Movie mods that were released later on are included, so no more redownloading them." Of course I do trust it more hearing it from an OE-board member than a Steam-member... so I am still sceptical.

It's interesting to see on moddb we're back from #90 to #8 with the Steam release. Maybe get in another #1? That would be pretty awesome :D

What are you playing now? Part 3'ish
Hassat Hunter replied to Rosbjerg's topic in Computer and Console
Seems people with various tastes still all liked AC. Which is good, no? Personally I find the combat nice, predator utterly boring. But most of all, I just played for the story, the riddler throphies and didn't bother much with riddler challenges at all, AC and AA alike. -
Released on Steam
Hassat Hunter replied to WorstUsernameEver's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Wonder if it uses 1.0b, the collection .exe or something entirely new again... and how good it works out-of-box on Vista and 7. And of course, if TSLRCM works with it... anyone who purchase(s/d) it can tell? -
What are you playing now? Part 3'ish
Hassat Hunter replied to Rosbjerg's topic in Computer and Console
Well, I just finished AC myself. I figured I still had a lot of game as the main game was still at 60%, but apparently that last 40% was very compressed or something, and it's all over now. All that remains is finishing up sidequest (75% complete), riddle throphies (80% complete) and joker challenges (3% complete, doubt I'll bother much with it anyway). Anyone has any clue what the ??? under the catwoman stats is for? -
For the issue where your game crashes when trying to load a savegame, most often accompanied by weird colors on the loading screen. Apparently an issue with newer nvidia drivers... try to see if this works, and make sure to mention if it does for you or not! http://deadlystream.com/forum/topic/1529-kotor-ii-loadscreen-issue/page__view__findpost__p__16531

I just don't bother with them, same as AA. -

Still Arkham City. Loved the fake "everyone dies" ending with the credits rolling over the screen. -
Deal of the week DLC at some point ?
Hassat Hunter replied to 9950332's topic in Dungeon Siege III: General Discussion
It was 75% off during the summer sales, which was recent. Probably will be at some point again, but doubt it'll be too soon. -
So, yeah, was looking for a generic Kickstarter thread, but only found a new thread was made per project. Hence me making also a seperate thread, hope it's okay. It's not even my game, but it does pique my interest. Game in question; So why does it interest me (and would probably do many obsidianites)? * RPG. Always good * Tactical combat. I personally prefer that over a button mashing of a Witcher II. Resembles Jagged Alliance or a hex-based turn-based Baldur's Gate. Several movies are on that site to show off how the combat works to see for yourself if it's something you like. * Stories, choice, consequence. Always good to have in a RPG. * Randomness makes each playthrough slightly different. More replayability in my RPG? Sign me up. * Several of the people of Off Topic Production (The Nameless Mod) work on it. Fortunately, this wont take 7 years. But it assures me that I most likely get quality. After all TNM was the one of 2 games I actually found good enough to make a fixmod for (the other being TSLRCM obviously). So yeah, I would suggest everyone to check it out and see if it's "their thing". It seems the goal hasn't been reached yet in the slightest, so every little bit helps. Hence this thread. In the hope to get a decent RPG again after being dissapointed so many times by the AAA developers these times.

What are you playing now? Part 3'ish
Hassat Hunter replied to Rosbjerg's topic in Computer and Console
Funnily today I played the Ra's Al Ghul (sp?) part of AC, just finishing it before going to the movie. And it largly was about that. It was interesting and coincidental, and great to see what the game and movie did the same, and what the differences where. Really want to continue playing, yet it's late (long movie) and have to rise early, so that's probably a bad idea... -
Just watched the Dark Knight Rising. Great movie. Only bad part... well... the singing of the kid at the football game. I can imagine some execs; "Well, we got people complain about Bane and Batman... What are we going to do about it?" "Well, we can add some real ear-bleeding voicework in the movie, so people are glad Bane and Bat sound okay" "Awesome. Hey, what about having Bane say sarcastically "what a great voice" to make it truly obvious it's a FU to the voice-hater" "Yes. Let's do it!" without taking into account innocent people like me would suffer too. That's the only part I have to fast-forward or mute when I get the blu-ray though (HAVE. It's that bad). Can't really think about any other bad points really. It didn't feel that long to me, honestly. Also Scarecrow's cameo what kinda flat, was hoping more when I saw him appear.

TSLRCM 1.8 RELEASED!
Hassat Hunter replied to Hassat Hunter's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
And that's pretty much the only way you can get around it... silly engine. Can't fix that.
