Specifying a specific medication as the gold standard is deceptive, when there are tons of other medications equally effective. The abstracts you listed don't even mention alprazolam. You also make it sound like you're pushing a hidden agenda, though you probably aren't, since no one on this forums has any sort of psychiatric problem. You're probably better off giving cognitive-behavioral therapy a try, anyway. Combination works better. Pro-tip: nothing in medicine is 100% (are you getting sexual dysfunction? )

Where in blazes are you even getting that from? A quick literature search (via Medline/Pubmed, not google) reveals not a single randomized double-blind study or meta-analysis (though, to be fair, I cut my search to 1996, so maybe outdated 80's medicine did show such a thing) even remotely suggesting anything like that. Not even benzos as a whole, and especially not Xanax specifically. Seriously, did you get that from xanax.com or let some pharma rep fool you by editing wikipedia?

Well, yeah, we already spotted him here http://forums.obsidian.net/index.php?showtopic=50804

No, and people have been banned for insinuating such nonsense. The member I miss most is ROFLTUNASANDWHICH http://forums.obsidian.net/index.php?showuser=6613 RIP ;_;

I ate Deadly Nightshade and wrote about it.

Anxiolytics aren't the gold standard for anxiety, especially not a specific commercial brand-name one. Are you a pharma rep? Lose weight, eat fruits, stop drinking and smoking, cut on coffee, get a divorce, quit your job, kill werewolves in video games, and stop posting about politics.

Hi, I was reading through another forum recently and found a quite disturbing post. The topic was about the Middle-East, specifically Iran. There were arguments on both sides, and they were pretty compelling. However, one particularly poster wrote that it would just be easier to nuke Iran. Or the entire Middle-East. I personally found it a tad disturbing, but I'm interested in seeing what people from the other side of the fence would use as arguments to justify this. Thanks. (no Middle-East bashing, please)

Okay, having messing around with the toolset and unlocking extra tools via the tutorials, the game is shaping up to be a whole lot better than it initially lets out. My impressions on the game have gone completely on the positive end. This is possibly the closest thing to a system seller a PS3 has. -
Did you guys even manage to get a single session together? Geez, this is GTA4 all over again. I guess I should get my 360 fixed instead of playing PS3 and PC games lol

Weren't you a PC elitist a while ago? Or am I confusing you with Gabrielle? In any case, I actually am not convinced of the PS3's worth yet. My brother got it as a gift, but otherwise there's little incentive right now to have bought it otherwise. Disgaea 3 is a good SRPG, but it's the only title I'm bothering to touch now. I tried a bit of MGS4, and it was pretty meh. I'm not really into stealth games, and the dialogue was tripe. To each their own, I guess. At least, I'm looking forward to Valkyria Chronicles, another (animu lol) SRPG, probably my most (only?) anticipated PS3 game. As for LBP, I'm not sure what I feel about it right now. I didn't even bother playing it at all yesterday, didn't feel the compulsion. I mean, I'll be getting the game for sure (co-op platforming + co-op toolset is an easy sell for me), but I don't think it would have been a SYSTEM seller for me. As far as platformers go, I'd say I'd rather play Mario Galaxy, and I don't even own the system for that. I've yet to play it co-op, though, so maybe that's what's been missing for me. And I haven't experimented or created anything yet. It's not like toolset games are anything new. Maybe on PS3, but that doesn't really make it a system seller. -

I mean, the game will be good, but the Bioshock/GTA4 level of hype will make it a disappointment for some, though that'll be their own fault. The savior status it's been given by PS3 fanpeople is kind of sad, really. -
I'm in the beta, but haven't bought anything since Operation Flashpoint isn't out yet. Soldiers is tempting, but I already have it.

The PS3 Thread of Butterflies and Lollipops!

Yeah, it's mainly a platformer. It's very physics-based. Cool things about it are 4p co-op and a seemingly powerful yet simple-to-use toolset, allowing for pretty creative stuff. Even more awesome is that the toolset itself is co-op as well, so it has potential to be very sandbox-y. It's trying to emphasize community content by making it very accessible, kind of like Youtube. Basically, finding community levels is very easy. People are way overhyping it, but that doesn't necessarily mean the game itself won't be fun in and of itself. So far, I've played very little. Basically, just the tutorial and one 'real' mission. The one mission was pretty cool, actually, so I think the game's actual 50 levels have potential. The controls are a tad bit floaty and don't compare to Mario. I'd have to play some more because I can determine whether that'd be a problem, or whether I'd just get used to it and not care. Haven't delved into the toolset yet, just gone through a few tutorials for it. I played a couple of community levels. Some are pretty cool. This was a simple yet fun one http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=n1lLCv2ZMDQ . This one looks pretty creative http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=esKMmuGvF0k ; while the platforming itself isn't anything special, the one level takes place inside a giant walking colossus, which is a pretty neat idea. The promising thing is that all these custom levels have been done in so little time. -
