  1. It's still progressing pretty slowly. Still in 1936, haven't had too much time to play it.
  2. Oh, and actual strategy, as opposed to the twitchfest from conventional RTS that would pass off at most as tactics, if even that. You can read up a bit more on it here http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?showtopic=40147 There's also a demo for HoI2 available.
  3. No vampires. This isn't Gabrielle's beach party.
  4. Here's a brand new Paradox interview, while we're at it http://www.wargamer.com/articles/paradox_interview_2006/
  5. I've been neglecting Civ4 because of HoI2, jerk. This is YOUR fault.
  6. Paradox' standalone addon to WW2 wargame ("RTS") Hearts of Iron II gets extra loving on Gamecloud. The game now covers 1936 to 1953 (Stalin's death). http://www.gamecloud.com/article.php?article_id=3757 Intel and the editor sound like pretty neat additions. "Yes, we will be testing a new concept where we release the entire game for a limited time to allow players enough freedom to experience any elements of the game rather than restrict the demo and tell player which parts of the game they should be testing out." Awesome! "The game is pretty much finished and it will be shipping to stores April 4." This is one title I'm definitely picking up. Haha, Hearts of Iron II has pretty much dealt the final blow to conventional RTS games. I can't turn back anymore
  7. May I be the first to recommend this innovative game to Hades: http://thesims.ea.com/
  8. Quick question: how pervasive are the Malkavian 'special' PC dialogue options, and are they enough to warrant a replay?
  9. I've heard some of those places consisting of Official Xbox Magazine
  10. That's a good thing, because Morrowind was cooler than sliced bread!
  11. And they're doing it in a turn-based fashion!
  12. But it existed!
  13. Exactly
  14. And turn-based!!!!!!
  15. And Fallout is real-time. Everybody wins! GUFFAW!!!!
  16. Man, as the only turn-based 3.0 CRPG, Pool of Radiance II proved that DnD 3.0 CANNOT BE GOOD IN TURN-BASED. Given the current evidence, this is a hard, cold fact.
  17. Or, we can pump it to 20 turns right now. Either way.
  18. What's the point? Newsflash: Fallout sucks. Comparing them to each other in terms of suckitude is nice and all, but that doesn't make them less sucky. Sucky suck suck! Fallout!
  19. That looks legal!
  20. I don't have any significant experience in PnP. I've played DMed sessions and been the DM in NWN, but something I do feel like playing the real thing would be pretty neat. A friend of mine (who's already in a full group) recently made me aware of http://www.openrpg.com Open RPG, a program to help PnPing in a digital format. It seems to be able to make dice rolls (+ modifiers) for you, as well as provide a hexgrid for combat. Would there be possibility in, say, a group of people here setting up a weekly session or something like that? Is there any interest?
  21. This is Blue team showing Stupid team who's boss. MMO Pong > all
  22. NWN is TB!!!
  23. At most, they would drop ALL but the Fallout name and make whatever they want with it. They CAN do whatever they want. One fan isn't going to change that fact.
  24. I think the argument is that SPECIAL is crap and that Bethesda should create a new real-time system for FO3
  25. Go go 'evidence'!
