  1. I know who has a 360! Hurlshot and Meshugger!!!
  2. Screenshot time! This is my ninja character, Mr. Awesome. Look at those next-gen graphics! I just got out of the first dungeon. The game is 'decent' so far, though the motivation given to you is pretty meh. Now, if on the other hand you're somehow allowed to go smuggle the mystic amulet of salvation, with that path being actually a possible part of the storyline, THEN I'll be impressed. Can't comment too much on the story so far. The Patrick Steward character is a pile of monkey doodoo - no wonder they needed a celebrity to hype him up. Like I said, NOT impressed by my character's 'motivation' so far. Of course, the first dungeon featured mostly combat and exploration, so I'll give the story a chance. As for those two aspects, they pretty much feel like Morrowind 2.0. Melee combat still feels completely simplistic, and exploration is standard Morrowind fare. Pick things up, open chests, etc, etc. There's some sort of lockpicking minigame too, and it didn't make me throw up yet, so that's a good sign. Graphics are, well, you can see for yourself on the screenshots. Not that it matters - the important part is functionality. So far, the graphics are functional, which is all I need. Game runs well, I don't complain. Physics are present, but every freaking game has them nowadays. They haven't added anything to the gameplay yet, anyway. Interface 'looks' nice, if it were the 360 version. Easy to scroll around, I guess. Of course, font/size crap is completely not customizable. On the bright side, it's approved by the institution for the visually-impaired. In the grand scheme, these nitpicks are irrelevant. Same could be said for whatever dumbing down or consolization of the game. Irrelevant drivel, that. Give me something to chew on, and I'll forgive all the nitpicks. Music, of course, is Llyranor-approved. It's standard Jeremy Soule fare, so if you like him, you'll like it. I was a big fan of Morrowind's music already, anyway. There's no surprise here, since I bought the soundtrack off DirectSong beforehand. Impressions so far: Well, I can't say it's hopeless. There's some potential. That alone is already a 100-fold improvement from Morrowind. Most of the details above are irrelevant. The important point is that it at least looks like Bethie invested some actual time into the main storyline. The writing is nothing to write home about yet, but it's not seizure-inducing yet. Again, I've just scratched the surface, so it's hard to say either way. The PC responses are pretty irrelevant so far, but that's a part I'm willing to shut completely out of my impressions of the game, else I'll end up murdering someone. Highlight of the game: Falling off a cliff increased my acrobatics skills.
  3. The big ferret in the sky
  4. Apparently the Afghan government is trying to pass some law for freedom of religion, but it hasn't been approved yet, so the Islamic thingiemabob still applies at this point.
  5. Installing the game right now. I'm planning on avoiding the radiant AI as much as possible and murder all those idiots who'll engage in conversation with each other. My primary focus will be the main storyline and that will be the only thing I plan on commenting on later on, unless I find any surprises.
  6. Erm, no. Hypoglycemia is worse. You won't be ingesting large amounts of sugar if you're experiencing coma and death. You shouldn't be juggling between the two, anyway.
  7. Yeah, those uneducated Blacks, haha! They should start acting more like White people and act educated, you know! Man, how about them Blacks, huh? Right.
  8. How does one 'act' and 'talk' like a white person? Oh, you mean like a normal person, right? Did he smell like a white person too? Not racism!
  9. Hmm, isn't Operation Flashpoint's even more than that?
  10. If you check out Gamespot, you can see a video of the highlights of Greg K.'s 12-hour marathon of the game. There's a good 17-min of footage there. Actually, it just showed mostly combat and exploration - not too much to differentiate it from Morrowind in there yet.
  11. If you've spoken with him, chances are he's already sentenced you to like he has to everyone else on this board. It's nice to see he has the divine power to judge us
  12. You are if you spoke to GJK and didn't kiss his feet.
  13. Hah, did you miss the memo for Christiany discussion #1 to 34 everywhere else on the boards? We already know we're all burning in land.
  14. Even the main plot? That seems to be the part people are 'praising'.
  15. LOL you're so right, Gabrielle. It's named Forever, and it's taking forever to make. Hahahahaaha. Oh, the irony! Duke Nukem FOREVER. Hahahahahaha.
  16. If half the population is going to Hell, does God actually know the definition of the word 'unconditional'?
  17. Well said, my Jedi friend, well said. Let's show those heretics what Christianity is all about, by applying principles of intelligent and rational thought! To arms, my Brothers!
  18. This isn't funny. You shouldn't speak of God in that manner. Many of us on these forums are devout Christians who are deeply offended by this thread. Shame on you, kirottu, SHAME ON YOU.
  19. NWN2 Xpac!
  20. I think people are more likely to buy games if they actually have disposable income, too <_<
  21. In a sad twist of irony, I'm Christian too :D
  22. He can try to outquote me, I guess, but I have the quote to trump all quotes
  23. Hmm, yeah, that's him. I guess he's not at Obs anymore, then.
