  1. No, you don't. Step away.
  2. Well, I know what I'm not currently playing
  3. This just sounds like commie speak.
  4. No, the best pick up line ever is 'So, erm, were you conceived by midichlorians too?'
  5. Your FACE is the commie.
  6. Until those wooden blocks kill you in your sleep. Then they'll get the last laugh.
  7. I'm looking forward to that Castlevania game ^_____^
  8. No, what's perfect is Lucian's game killing him in his sleep.
  9. Yeah, I found FO combat somewhat lacking. Equip gun/armor, move, aim at body part, shoot. Rinse and repeat. Man, that was hot. It being turn-based didn't really make it more compelling, especially since controlling only one loser. I'd love for FO3 to have a real-time FPS combat system! It'd be a dream come true!!! In fact, I'm frothing at the mouth! OMG This would be SOOO freaking COOL. ^_____________^
  10. And then the game would kill you in your sleep.
  11. Sony tried to pass the PS2 off as a computer system to get some tax deductions. The court didn't click, so they had to pay the extra millions anyway http://www.gamespot.com/news/6152983.html
  12. This is how I feel. The problem with Morrowind/Oblivion for me is that the games feel very superficial. Sure, there's lots of stuff to do, but when you sit down and think about them, all those tasks start to feel pointless. The games in and of themselves do little to convince you otherwise. The problem? NPCs are lifeless. The world is empty. The story is lacking. The writing is bland. Oblivion put great efforts into improving this, but the result is ultimately the same. How to fix the games without removing the open-endedness. The answer is pretty simple. Hire good writers. Make them work on the story and on the NPCs. Hire better designers. Make them comprehend that nonlinearity doesn't just consist of giving you two completely unrelated quests and letting you choose which one to do first. In fact, the answer is VERY simple. What was the difference with the Fallout's, KotOR, or even Jade Empire. Even huge BG2? They all had at least semi-competent writing/stories, and they had at least a remote understanding of semi-multilinear design. Though, it doesn't really seem that Bethesda is willing to admit they have issues on this front, so I doubt anything will be done. After all, Oblivion is their best title yet.
  13. It's a standalone title which essentially contains all of the original game. Campaigns, scenarios, and so on. Basically, all you need is Doomsday.
  14. My gosh, I need to catch up on my Combat Mission.
  15. I'm glad you didn't suffer a violent death on that ship yet, Krookie ^_________^
  16. The game's pretty awesome. If you have any interest in wargames, and don't mind the non-TB hex-based format, then COTA's a great pick. The chain of command and order delays make for some tense battles - lots of planning required.
  17. The real joke is that Eldar is already dead
  18. Since the original plan was to use the time between getting the RC/going gold and ship date to focus on the DMC, I wouldn't be surprised if this delay changes nothing from that front.
  19. While we're here, the TF2 teaser is out. http://www.gametrailers.com/player.php?type=mov&id=11897 Love the style.
  20. Given that Atari needs cash fast, it's surprising that they'd allow the game to be delayed. It's fine for me. The more polished, the better.
  21. Wait, that looks pretty fun.
  22. I would be the first person to burn you in effigy if you ever got into game design.
  23. I'm not sure where you get pets. Actually, I'm not sure where you get level 70 amour, either. Amour is wonderful.
