Obs is just about the only company left making storydriven games that actually have devs I still give two hoots about. I can't say much else about the writing talent of other companies presently. Bioware might be heading in the right direction in hiring new writers for Dragon Age, but I'm not so much a fan of their old ones. Modern CRPGs with no actual storytelling/writing talent amongst the devs = definite limitation.

Actually, I did some investigating, and these are very real issues. NWN2 doesn't stand a chance. In terms of inventory, I'm even more concerned. Inventory Tetris was the best part of NWN1. How could NWN2 even try to improve upon perfection? It can only go downhill. I fear for the worst. Let us cling together.

Forget how they screenshots look, pay attention to what's NOT in them: horses. This is a bloody travesty and an insult to the intelligence of gamers everywhere. How can developers ever dare impose such crap on us? This isn't about just some stupid feature, it's about respect. Let's start a petition and burn Feargus in effigy. Then I could become Obsidian CEO.

Go try out the Dark Messiah demo. Very fun melee combat.

There's a fair list of games (most not yet released, I guess) that I wouldn't mind trying out if I had the console. That's more than I can say about the PS3 so far, though it's too early to tell either way, anyway. I'm not seeing any system sellers yet, though we haven't seen any Obs titles yet, either D:

Given that the (digital distribution only) xpac to this game, Victoria - Revolutions - is coming out on August 17th, I'm looking into getting better impressions on this game. How user-friendly is it? How complex is the game to get into? The converter to HoI2DD sounds like an awesome feature, and the different focus from HoI2 could be interesting.
