  1. They certainly shouldn't just tolerate each other. Even a game like Jagged Alliance 2 had mercenaries that refused to work with other mercenaries.
  2. Yes it does, when I realized my mistake and stated my clarification. But ignoring relevant points has always been your strong suit.
  3. Korriban was particularly bad. Although I don't mind the ability to get away with something with zero hit in reputation because I covered my tracks. Games with Global Reputations can be a bad thing too, as why should a Sith know that I killed someone on a completely different planet? Although while on the same planet, word should have definitely gotten out that I was a light-sider at SOME point.
  4. Hmmm...you really typed in "Duke3D.exe" "Duke3D" should have worked just fine
  5. I didn't like Shadow Warrior as much. Seemed like it just wanted to be gory for the sake of gore. Ironically, I was at an age when I thought gore was cool, and I still didn't enjoy it as much as Duke3D
  6. I just choose to ignore the part where you are talking, and consider you the clueless twit you are. r00fles! Still doesn't change the fact that every time I pushed the normal attack button I got the same attack combo.
  7. I'm not sure if you're being serious. But I'll agree nonetheless :D
  8. That's the big reason why I like the influence system. I think it's stupid that no matter what you can get on everyone's good side. It makes the characters less interesting. A bit more drama would be nice. This I agree with. A better implementation of the influence system would be nice.
  9. They tell you the clues to look for when you click see the explanation.
  10. What's to be suspicious in the Godzilla test????
  11. If you were good and did something smart, she still complimented you. But I guess you're right....she didn't want you to be stupid
  12. I got that one wrong, too. I'm wondering if it's actually possible to get it right, other than by guessing. Unlike the first ones with the circles and lines, with the Godzilla room distorted in such a way does the image actually contain the information needed to say definitively which is bigger? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You need to look at the distance the floor is from the roof. I had seen this before in one of my psychology classes. It's only "easy" to see, if you're familiar with the experiment IMO.
  13. Obsidian are promising this for NWN2. I'd love to know what they're planning, but I just can't bear the Bioware forums. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> w00b w00b w00b w00b (w00t)
  14. I don't know if it's dynamic with respect to how you specifically play. I believe it may have just been modified by the strategies of the top players in the Metaverse.
  15. I guess perhaps to just be devil's advocate, but maybe because I liked the idea: MORE INFLUENCE I want to not be able to be friends with everybody. I WANT to have people only open up with me if they trust me. I WANT a more fleshed out influence system
  16. If you're a big evil jerk though, Kreia still harps on you. Kreia was pretty middle ground for most the game IMO.
  17. From PC Gamer, June 2005 Edition, page 34: A little bit of me would really like this title to kick serious booty....but we'll see I suppose ^_^
  18. PC Gamer had an article an issue or two ago, when they went to see Prey. They mentioned they saw the game, and it actually looks pretty good. If I find the article I'll dig up a snippet or two.
  19. There's a link to a video interview at the bottom of the interview though. And it is good to hear that they're on pace for their late 2005 release. EDIT: D'oh, you said the same thing as me
  20. No...I posted it before I read it. Oh well
  21. Are you sure??? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Security_through_obscurity
