Grrls gone wild!!- Half-Life
I really enjoyed it. My school suffered as a result. I liked the atmosphere and the action and the music and especially Ravenholm (even though it scared the crap out of me). The spooky tone of the game, combined with some excellent art (Nova Prospekt, Ravenholm, heck almost anywhere) shot it up to the top of my all time favourite games list (behind only Half-Life and Deus Ex). At first, the ending was a bit of a surprise...but then when I thought about it, I realized it was just as confusing and "WTF" as the first one was. Although the Final Chapter itself was definitely a lot better in HL2 than in HL. Xen just didn't seem as fun as the rest of the original IMO.- NHL is back
Hahaha. How's the talks going with Richard's skeletal remains? Can we expect to see him in a Leafs jersey this year? EDIT: In other shocking news, Steve Yzerman has resigned with the Wings.- Counterstrike Anyone?
Meh, I heard people call the AWP the n00b cannon because for the most part it's one shot kill. I personally feel that the autoshotgun sucks ass, and I much prefer the pump action shotty. I've been a fan of the MP5 and the M4 since beta 2. Although in beta 4 I used the P90 like everyone else. People often considered the P90 to be the beta 5 weapon, but that's only because everyone started using it in beta 4 because of it being a full auto sniper rifle with a huge magazine. My friend and I would always beat up on P90s with our MP5s in beta 5. I was also a big fan of the G3/SG-1 until they nerfed it. That gun used to be absolutely amazing.- Sexiest chic from Star Wars?
I personally agree. I think a lot of people are smitten with her voice. I still contend that if she wasn't a romance option, she'd not even be a contender.- Defensive build vs Offensive build
Neither game was hard. The combat was not the reason to play either game IMO.- Half-Life
You'd think I'd know better. Maybe I said what I said because I assume other people don't know to not take you seriously...yes yes that's it!- NHL is back
I've heard lots of rumors of Edmonton being very interested in Jason Allison. Especially considering we have been actively pursuing him for the past couple of seasons.- Counterstrike Anyone?
I always love how the AWP was the "n00b" cannon, when the only people I ever saw do really well with it were in fact, really good players.- Half-Life
I take everyone too seriously. Sarcasm is hard to detect on the Internet- Half-Life
It makes sense that Halo feels like Marathon. They exist in the same Universe. There are references to Marathon in Halo. As for the inspiration, the developers themselves commented about how much Half-Life had inspired them. And this was before they went to XBox and I quit following the development of that game.- Half-Life
It's informative, in an albeit cryptic way. And it doesn't take much to extrapolate why the Gman can "walk around" everywhere you go in Half-Life 1 (and 2) without "bashing enemies in with his suitcase." He's supposed to be mysterious and confusing.- Sexiest chic from Star Wars?
Then Jacko would come after this game for also becoming a sex simulator!!!- NHL is back

I'd bet Master Chief looks like Anakin under the Darth Vader mask. Small price to pay for cybernetics.- Counterstrike Question
So you didn't like the game because you sucked at it?- Half-Life
Stop talking. It's clear you don't understand the Gman. Furthermore, you never see the Gman attacking anyone in the game, so I don't know where you get this "smacking anything to death with a briefcase" crap. Play Half-Life 2. It's much more enlightening behind the mystery of the Gman.- Coolest Looking Sith Lord (K1, K2, Movies)
I imagine that that was in the novelization? Still, in Episode 1 there's a part with the two on the ledge, and Maul is going on about how the Jedi are going to pay and all that...which indicates hatred and revenge as motivators to me.- Civ IV
Yup. You still get some sort of compensation if it doesn't succeed however. I always thought it was kind of silly that when I built a big giant wonder, the AI would just switch over to the next one it had and not lose any time.- Coolest Looking Sith Lord (K1, K2, Movies)
Rage isn't necessarily displayed externally (speaking from personal experience "). Based on what you told me about him (haven't read novelization), he's motivation is based on revenge and hatred. Which are darkside paths. I wouldn't put him up there with the Sociopathic murderer type, but I still contend that he was darkside. I mean, Darth Plageus didn't sound like all that evil of a guy, but he was a Sith Lord. He could save lives because of his power...but I suspect it's the selfish nature of that power and his lust for power that made him dark.- Obsidian Forums Diplomacy Game 3 (OBS-03)
I'd say it...but you put it so succinctly.- Half-Life
It's just not a murder simulator without realistic physics.- Coolest Looking Sith Lord (K1, K2, Movies)
I'd suspect that, given the Star Wars motif, his form of justice was fueled throught the anger and rage. And I think we could thank Sidious for that. Anakin also thought that what he was doing was right. I'd imagine Maul was seduced by the Darkside (thank you Palps) and his rage and anger is what fuels his drive to eliminate the Jedi.- Coolest Looking Sith Lord (K1, K2, Movies)
In the movie, it looked like they took a detour and never went through the door where Maul was. I'd imagine Maul had still fully committed his rage towards the Jedi, and as a result had fallen to the dark side. He's just not stupid evil...which results in the mindless killing of those that aren't necessary. - Sexiest chic from Star Wars?
