Speaking of costs, I noticed that given current exchange rates, it'd be cheaper for me to import Fahrenheit rather than likely wait for it to come out here and fork over $60. Plus I get a DVD, and no censorship. Go Great Britain!!! The biggest problem I had with Halo was that I played it on PC. Not that that made the game any worse, but by the time I had played it, it just wasn't the stellar, revolutionary game it was meant to be.

I know he too missed last season (I felt sorry for the Kings, they were almost a WHL team last year), but is he even still playing? TSN lists him as an UFA. I'm also curious if anyone is going to spend some money on Al MacInnis. Poor guy got smashed in the face in his last season and only played 3 games, but the man still has a cannon from the point.

I didn't really care for the flood. I wholeheartedly enjoyed fighting the Covenant...but the Flood got boring

Doom 3 was not bad. Some of the create light placement allowed for some excellent shadow work, and the shadows were definitely the highlight of that game (even if they don't show up on other creatures). Some tactful monster placement provided a fair share of jumps, and I actually didn't mind the fact that I couldn't use a weapon with my flashlight out. The people that demanded the duct tape mod were just wussies and afraid of the dark.

The shaking mirrors and ominous sounds, coupled with spooky music can be a bit much!

There's still a good number of forwards that have shown they know how to put points on the board in the past. If a team could get a Paul Kariya/Teemu Selanne combo deal, that would help out quite a bit, even if Teemu did struggle in his last season (on an team overflowing with talent, tough to get the puck). I notice Ray Whitney still hasn't been picked up, nothing official on Jason Allison, as well as Palffy and even Peter Bondra (although his best days are probably behind him).
