  1. I'm sorry. I'm not skilled enough at knowing how much of the explosion was in or outside the building based on looking at a picture. And 1800 m/s detonation blast immediately following a jet liner crashing into it seems fairly violent to me. Sure, it was designed to withstand a commercial airliner flying into it. Are commercial airliners all the same since 1973 though? And does designing something to withstand a commercial airliner make it impervious to collapse? THere are buildings designed to withstand earthquakes, but earthquakes still take them down. Bulletproof vests are designed to stop bullets, but they don't always do it. Etcetera.
  2. Sam is badass. I did vote for him as bestest spy
  3. I have never owned an Asus video card, but my roommate has. And he has had fan troubles with everyone of them (as in the fan decides it no longer needs to spin). My second-hand experiences with Asus video cards has been mediocre.
  4. Well, you can do the same in Hitman. I picked up my M4 in the Mountain Resort level and went to town there as well. Actually, once that M4 gets the C-Mag, it's pretty goofy how easy levels can be :D In Chaos Theory, I loved rolling into guys for knife kills. Sam looked super badass when doing that.
  5. That's what I feel as well. It seems like too huge of a conspiracy that not more than a few people would have come out to talk about it.
  6. In my complete lack of expertise, I don't see why the towers still couldn't have fallen. It wasn't just a fire, but a full on explosion with additional structural damage caused by the plane itself crashing into it (and you can see a definite moment just before explosion with the second plane so it's not like it just exploded on the outside). It seems like something that is just sooo big though. And given the media seems to have little problems pointing out the faults of Bush, I'm surprised that they could also be involved. This sounds like Pulitzer prize type stuff. I suppose anyone can be bought though.
  7. It made you lucky. Increased chance of criticals for you. Probably helped prevent criticals against, but maybe not. YOu also had a greater chance of randomly finding the cool events in the wasteland.
  8. I don't remember too much, as I rarely used my gun. I remember not surviving too long if the **** hit the fan though.
  9. It was an interesting documentary.
  10. Head and chest shots are pretty fatal. You can find yourself shooting a lot though with weaker ammo (low-velocity) in non-fatal zones.
  11. Once you've decked out your hardballers with magnum rounds and the long slide, the punch holes through people like nothing!
  12. Conspiracy!!!

OK, tomorrow has officially become an "optional" day.
  14. The hitman games allow you to go through pretty guns ablazing as well. It's a bit more difficult though. Blood Money is much more forgiving for the disguises though.
  15. I loved punchout. I racked up a huge record because after you fight Tyson in the dream bout, you get to defend your title against Super Macho Man again.
  16. I suppose that would make sense. I think things are stagnant. Bring on the genetically altered Vamps!
  17. I saw one at Fileplanet. You could probably check out Eidos' webpage for it as well. The demo is weak though. It's the tutorial so there's no real options for you in that level, as they want to show you everything.
  18. It makes sense that you would have to reformat the drive.
  19. Heh...I disagree (I own a 1900 XTX, and it ran fine on my Radeon 9800 Pro before I got it). The only issue I ever got was on Dantooine, which just required me to change ANY video setting to fix. But whatever.
  20. I recently bought a new computer, and it just sort of occurred to me that I have two 250 GB SATA hard drives. I'm thinking maybe I would like to put them into RAID 0, but I've never actually set up a RAID before. I'm 99.9% my motherboard has an on-board RAID controller as well. Before I get too far ahead of myself though, I do have some questions. First, I imagine that I'll need to wipe content on my current install if I want to do this...correct? Data deletion isn't that big of a deal, but if I could set it up without wiping a drive that would be cool....though I suppose it wouldn't really make much sense. Second, I currently have a 30 GB partition on my main drive, which basically holds just Windows. It's a holdover habit from my old school Win9x days of reformatting my HD and reinstalling windows periodically. Would it be possible to make a RAID of the remaining 220 GB? This would work out kind of nice, as I could still have a 30 GB partition for Linux (work related stuff). Thanks.
  21. What would be an AR vamp and a BS one?
  22. Where have you been Josh? Some of us were talking about it being teh great fun a couple weeks ago. Pokes aside, I really enjoyed the game as well. I'm serial! I totally agree with the final level. It took me a bit to realize what I had to do to get things going, but once it got going...look out! Mucho fun.
  23. Ok I'm going to go against the trend and disagree with you (wtf). I think vampires need to be cool like in Bloodlines with their secret society and political intrigue, rad nightclubs and mansions, music etc. Vampires hanging out in blown out tin cans and rusty sheds, preying on people sitting around a campfire in the dessert just ain't going to cut it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Who's to say that there wouldn't be a secret society, with political intrigue, rad nightclubs, and whatnot?
  24. Who said he was including Hades in that comment?
