  1. I was not referring to the . Indeed, the finds a way to lend a hand.
  2. Are you talking about the quickspell list you get by hitting F?
  3. You see, all it looks like this decision has resulted in is eliminating the tedious journey back to the temple. And if someone gets gibbed (permanently killed), for most players it simply means it's time to reload. Yes, some people may be inconvenienced by it, but since (as you stated) all it really does is eliminate the need to waste time running back to a temple, it doesn't necessarily add all that much to the game if you stop and think about it. The only situation where it would make an impact is if you don't have access to a temple (say you're stuck in a dungeon). At which point, it becomes exceptionally easy for a game player to put themselves in a situation that becomes unwinnable. Especially if they are an inexperienced game player and have a bad habit of overwriting saved games! In the end, I think it results in less frustrated gamers, as I'm guessing only a small minority will consider it to truly be a detriment.
  4. I didn't fix up the Golem either, but I'll suspect it'll take up a spot. And jags, that NPC will help you in your adventures, but I will not say how
  5. Pffft, the old school Nintendo style music makes that better than the Lion one. I can almost see myself playing Megaman to that soundtrack.
  6. I completed the Tor quest and held onto the shield as well. It's the only one that I noticed however.
  7. Well, I was able to solve the problem by using the Dual Core Optimizer. Though if anyone would know how, that'd be great :D The only way I can think of is to load up the program, ALT-TAB, and then select a processor affinity and remove a core, but that seems clunky. Oh well, I can play again.
  8. I just bought Splinter Cell: Double Agent, and I'm getting a wierd stutter while playing. Some people have commented that disabling the second core for the game fixed the problem. The thing is, I have never actually needed to disable the second core before, how exactly can I get Double Agent to only run on one core? Thanks!
  9. Sorry JB, I have doomed you to bad jokes and an insistence that his precious Maginot Line can hold up against the german aggressors in HOI2. What have I done!?!?
  10. But being Republican means being against gay marriage homosexuality, abortion, and non-marital sex, or am I wrong in this? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not necessarily. THe party I'd probably vote for would be Republican, because I'm right wing economically, but I'm far left socially. Which I guess would make me a libertarian. And I am not against homosexuality, abortion, nor non-marital sex.
  11. Where have you been? Old news! Soon Joseph will be CEO, taking it away from you!
  12. The moderation is important. Voting nothing but Liberal all the time lets the Liberals rubber stamp their policies. Same goes for Conservatives.
  13. You could argue he's still Lawful Neutral, as he seems to be about upholding the Law above all else, not unlike Vhailor for PST who was also LN.
  14. Diablo II in hardcore. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Dungeon Hack (heh) had an iron man mode as well. I'm sure other games have done it as well.
  15. That's because you are blind. Sorry. Definitely. That would explain why some people that you bump into want to kill you on sight for what you did to Ember, and exact some vigilante justice. Torio is taking advantage of the situation, knowing full well that Lord Nasher wants to avoid war because he is not prepared for it, nor are his people. And it's clear that Lord Nasher fully values the Law of the land, and wants to uphold it as best he can. You see more of this in the aftermath of the trial.
  16. Thou must speak ye Magicke Worde. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Open Says Me?
  17. Well that is something at least. I'll admit I didn't follow the development of Jefferson (nor Van Buren) too closely, so I'm not really familiar with the characters/setting/story. I'm sure no one would say no to a quality CRPG that promised to be at the same level as the IE games. I'm not sure why it seems only Jefferson seemed to aspire to that level. It's just that you historically have been fascinated with Jefferson, based almost purely on the promise alone. I think that Obsidian is capable of making an RPG that I enjoy more than BG2 (or PST). And I don't see why they can't use ideas (such as regional reputation) in other games. If they are good ideas that would have worked in Jefferson, they'll probably work in other games as well.
  18. Hahaha brown? What are you, like 30 or something? Hahahhaa brown!
  19. I've resigned myself to the notion that, at least for now, this forum is where I go when I'm bored. I actually agree. People seem to label the Democrats as essentially being socialists, but IMO they are still more right-wing than what many countries consider as being the "right-wing" party. 20. I figured that it'd be something more tangible. Something specific to the game. I mean, if it's just BIS making it, do you see the IWD games, as well as Lionheart, as being of the same level as BG2? If it's just the ideas and concepts and general design that a company like BIS and Obsidian makes, couldn't it essentially be any game? Essentially, whatever their next original game is, is essentially "Jefferson" since I'm guessing they'd like it to be as fun as BG2, as well as the fact that it's being made by the BIS gang at Obsidian?
  21. I disagree. After getting familiar with them, I know what buffs I have. Plus you know what buffs party members have. Only if you don't speed it up.
