Score for you! Delays definitely affect you guys

As a compliment to CoD 4, even when I play the game at work and have to replay some of the missions, I don't care because it's effing fun!

They're just now taking applications for testing. Right now the release date for the game is unknown. Probably not until late 2010 at the earliest, maybe even later.

Strange. Pre-orders are same price releases where I am. If it's cheaper, then yeah go for it.

Spaghetti code is code that jumps around all over the place, making it difficult to trace the flow of the program. Things such as "GOTOs" are usually the prime example. That's pretty much the issue for any bug finding late in a project. Spaghetti code makes it much worse, but even without spaghetti code it's still a huge problem, because problems that weren't properly solved earlier in development end up having stuff built on top of it, working around the problem. So when you fix that problem, other stuff breaks. It's why bug fixing at the end of the project becomes very expensive, and you have to make a lot of decisions of "is this worth possibly breaking other stuff?"

Just finished extracting with McMillian in CoD 4. This game is pretty hard haha. But so intense and fun!

I have often wondered, does it really matter? I mean, if you're not confident the game is going to come out and have a preorder, then cancel the preorder. If you're holding out buying a different game because you really want AP instead, make your best call. Right now it seems to be delayed, so get the other game. At best it's delayed. At worst, you have to get AP a little later. If you're like me and didn't bother preordering, my life really is not that affected whether or not the game comes out now or later.

I think that achievements are not a particularly large chunk of developer resources. In fact, I think achievements are typically well received, and arguably offer a lot of value for the amount of effort they require.

It was the 3rd difficulty (with the 4th being the hardest).

Played through the first 3 missions of CoD4 at lunch today! My training score put me at Hardened difficulty and ti's quite a challenge.

Don't you only get the Chinese Assault Rifle if the Sheriff ends up dead? I didn't get mine for a while and was mostly using the hunting rifle for the early part of the game too.

Not everything reacts it's true, but when the Brotherhood Patrol stumbles upon you while you're pinned down by some Raiders and they roll them with their miniguns, it's pretty cool.

The same could be said for almost anything though. It does seem pretty clear that Shodan has her goals and ambitions. To have her significantly deviate from them would diminish the character IMO.
