In addition to Canada, Australia, and Poland (first as a sovereign state, then as a exiled government). You should probably also include South Africa and New Zealand, but they wouldn't have seen any troop deployments until after the Winter War so I won't be as picky about them.

The Soviet Union most definitely invaded Finland after the war. The Soviets invaded in November, but war started August 30th 1939. Ignorant joke indeed. It was before SU was involved in the war, which occurred in June, 1941. That's a moot point. Numbers Man's context was clearly regarding World War 2, in which case the Winter War most definitely occurred during the war. Lets not forget his original post that you quoted: Of course, if you wish to try to argue on behalf of academic dishonesty and misrepresentation of his comments in order to better support your viewpoint, then continue along your current course

I'm sure they're not doing better than US, you don't know much about US. What I meant was that they'd be part of the Soviet Union, not whether they're socialist or not. They actually fought the Soviet Union and won. Look up Winter War From your link. They won? It's amazing how ignorant you guys are. And Finland is more prosperous than the US? No wonder people keep posting such stupid posts here, talk about the failure of the education system. The Winter War is generally regarded as a humiliating conflict for the Soviet Union because the Soviet Union had anticipated steam rolling the Finns. The Soviet Union attempted the total annexation of Finland and failed miserably, despite having ridiculously large number of troops in comparison. If you actually read more than what you were looking for in that Wiki link, you'd have found great lines such as: Based on the numbers, it should have been an overwhelming victory for the Soviet Union, considering the following:

I have no issues with GamersGate, though the games I usually buy off of there are Paradox titles.

Dagon seems to be buying into the "If the numbers don't support my view, the numbers are wrong" perspective.

Well, the rest of the post was an examination on how the US was supporting the Allies war effort. Though really, that shouldn't come at that much of a surprise. I don't think there's much of an argument that there were members of the US government that wanted into the war.

Are we buying into the theory that Roosevelt and Co. left their battleship lane exposed to be specifically attacked without having any crippling Carrier losses? Keep in mind that at this time, and even after Japan's bombing of Pearl Harbor, the idea that naval wars would be decided with decisive battle with the main battle fleet was still a common one. The US had been preparing for a possible war with Japan since the 1920s, and had already begun working on War Plan Orange. Japan was also a big fan of the idea of decisive battle, which is why the battleships of the US were the primary targets of the raid. Yamamoto was the big proponent for carrier warfare in Japan, but he still had to fight with politics, as did the US naval commanders. Given that Japan's previous attacks came by way of "surprise attacks" the US was indeed anticipating one. But that doesn't mean it wasn't a surprise attack. Especially since they certainly were not expecting it to happen at Pearl Harbor.

Game is now officially delayed

By refusing to buy the game when it comes out. That is assuming that it does come out. Of course. I figured that that went without saying. Of course, you also figured that Dragon Age was destined to be vapourware. -
First win in Nashville since 2006

A good convincing win for the Oilers today! Go Oilers Go!

Nope, they weren't. Even though we're pretty sure that the MiGs that were shot down were often from the Soviet Union, they weren't open conflicts against the Soviet Union. There's a keyword there, called 'open' but you'll ignore it because it's convenient. Nor was the Korean war an open conflict against the Chinese. No matter how many times you want to call it that, doesn't mean that that was actually the case. There's a reason why it's called the Vietnam War, and why the primary opponent was considered the NVA, because it was an open conflict against North Vietnam . History has shown countries circumventing "open conflicts" by lending units, such as what Germany did when it lent the Condor Legion in the Spanish Civil War. But the Republic of Spain was most definitely not in an open conflict with Germany. Making stupid assumptions, and fallacious claims is silly and ignorant, which you've demonstrated since your very first attempt to stir up some controversy on these boards. The moment you demonstrated that you couldn't even be bothered to look up the facts for your actual claims, demonstrated not just how ignorant you were, but how much you've been swayed and brainwashed under the guise of thinking that you're doing any critical thinking.

It seems a defrag actually has helped out performance a fair bit. I'm surprised, but COD stutters a lot less now. Must be a confounding variable somewhere, but I'm not going to complain too much

By your own admission you're notoriously difficult to please. But you're quick to take this trailer and state the BioWare should outsource their trailers because they can't make good ones. I didn't see any credits for who made this trailer. Did you?
-
I think it's more that LoF has gotten so used to slamming that US that he'd rather support the justifications of a decidedly more fascist nation like Imperial Japan.

A mountain being made out of a molehill. It's a CG trailer. I guess in the last 24 hours they've completely rewritten the game to play just like the CG trailer. Furthermore, I don't even know who made that trailer, so you can't say that BioWare should outsource it. BioWare did outsource the SWTOR trailer. But I guess that one is a bit too FF for people too? It's the same kind of deal with some crazy action, including a 1 on 1 fight similar to the beginning of Final Fantasy 8!! EDIT: Batman is cool, dark, awesome, and epic.

Those weren't open conflicts against the Soviet Union.

I think it's being overstated how bad it actually is. Dude...it's been like 2 fu----- weeks!! overstated, my ass! How is it so bad? Are people all boycotting the game now? Anyone that I know that is interested in this game is disappointed it's been delayed, but is still going to pick up the game. The longer it goes, the less likely they will say anything. -
No party member is "mandatory" for keeping in your active party, save for a few small plot specific moments. You just can't tell every party member to not follow you. So they'll stay in camp if you don't want them in your group. Morrigan is definitely NOT the one. I thought she might be but I saw a friend of mine tell her to pike off relatively early in the game. Trailers always have enemies being dispatched at a much quicker rate than in the actual game.

It's a weird situation, and even then, I don't recall off my head if the name makes any sense. I don't like to play spoiler though, so you won't get me saying anymore.

A brood of course!
