MW2 cotroversy (spoilers)
We're still not sure precisely the context of that mission.

Mass Effect!
But the real issue here, is that you helped the exploitation of Africans by supporting the Coltan market!

Business Models for PC RPGs
What's the metric for a "good game?" Is 80% not acceptable? Have there been games that achieve your metascore but were not profitable? How strong is the correlation?

Business Models for PC RPGs
Do you have evidence of your statement being true?

Mass Effect!
Meh, when I played as a Biotic I used biotic skills that had the enemies do all sorts of weird things. When I played as a soldier, I focused on using guns. Of course, in KOTOR, when I was consular, I'd still use my lightsaber. Just like when I was a guardian, I'd still use my force powers. I guess really there's no difference at all Ding.

New Mass Effect 2 Character
I don't know the story of Mass Effect, but if that had just happened to him/it, it's probably not that unusual to expect them to look into the mirror to examine it.

Mass Effect!
Quite possibly, but that's not a defense. If every RPG jumped off a bridge, would Mass Effect? No, it's more just you not having a clue. Who would have thought that having two characters with their classes reversed wouldn't result in any significant differences in the execution of those classes. Mine might not be a defense, but that's more because yours wasn't a valid criticism.

Dragon Age
The differences in level up systems are more flow control type issues. There's no differences in XP needed, what you get upon leveling up, or anything like that.

Mass Effect!
Isn't this similar to asking: "What's the difference between playing as a Mage with a Cleric in the party and playing a Cleric with a Mage in the party?"

Dragon Age
I could see that party being pretty common, but I think it'd be more likely to have Alistair standing in in place of Sten. My party throughout my playthrough was typically Alistair, Morrigan, and Wynne.

NBA Officiating Drama
Some of this isn't really surprising. For instance, I knew of the star treatment reading up on it in a Grade 6 book about Michael Jordan. But other parts of it were pretty interesting. It's excerpts from Tim Donaghy's book (he was an official caught gambling). On Gambling Refs Star Treatment On **** Bavetta

Fortunately they hand on to win 6-5. A win is a win haha.

Victor Chang's killer released from prison
You said Killain before this, but it seems addressed to me.

Warhammer 40k: Space Marines
Pearl Harbour already has!

Experiment rules out a bunch of theories of gravity
Well that makes sense given it was established a long time ago. His theories built upon Newton's, so people are just trying to build upon his. It'd be pretty unfrakking believable if his theories were smashed in the process, but even then it'd probably be more of a "this is something that doesn't quite hold up true about this special case, so what's special about this special case? Which is kinda what Einstein did too

Dragon Age
Some of us were pondering if we should have sent a QA team there to see how they would do during the challenge

Warhammer 40k: Space Marines
Our Anonymous friend felt quite strongly about them hehe.

First failed state?
I'm sure there's lots of tramp steamers from Mexico to Zimbabwe. Except that it's landlocked

Dragon Age
I hit level 22 my first (and only) playthrough. It was a pretty thorough playthrough IMO, but I did miss some stuff. There is some scaling due to the non-linear nature of the wide open world. The scaling isn't identical, as there's a level range for some areas.

Dragon Age
Looks like most people made it to level 10 or so.

MW2 cotroversy (spoilers)
Haha fair enough. Just curious if you had any idea specifically why.

MW2 cotroversy (spoilers)
I'm not sure how I'd feel playing it (I haven't watched it, since I don't want to spoil the game). I can understand possibly feeling bad, but wouldn't be surprised if it didn't bother you. Why do you think you'd feel bad playing it?

MW2 cotroversy (spoilers)
GTA used to be ostracized for its realistic depictions, but now according to the link in the first post, it's now considered cartoonish. Do you feel that MW2 will always remain a "serious and realistic" depiction of the situation?
-
MW2 cotroversy (spoilers)
So now it's the fact that it's a "serious" setting?
