  1. I mean I am personally more of a rogue than a monk fan. But I tried that Thunderous Report from Kitchen Stove trick with an Assassin/Ascendant from stealth and result was like 250 fire+250 shock (500 damage) in a large cone aoe at the start of fight. so you get like a 400-500 aoe damage cone nuke as an assassin/cipher 1/encounter. There might be a better class than cipher to use that combo with assassin+something else, but cipher is not a bad choice as it instantly gives you max focus and the extra damage addition from soulwhip adds to the assassin alpha strike. Cipher Assasin is very nice combo, probably highest accuracy in the game. In 1.2 brilliant return, so with proper mod we can make perma invisible char
  2. does anyone notice, that amira wing wind spells add cipher focus? Wilting wind cast at the begining of the fight made max focus, so for Ascendant it's quite a must have.
  3. If there are 2 enemies in 99% of fight there is no need for resonant touch, casue both of them will be death after 1 or 2 WoW attack. Only excetion are bosses, but only huge one - dragon and kraken and nemnok (i made some test just now - since lava dragon always summon some magma slime, after 2 uses of WotW he was hit 4times with full attack, his health bar was 90% full, and after that RT take him down in 1 hit :D - so even if enemy have high DR and we gigle him for 1-2dmg, after blunderbuss combo one RT will make him KO) arkemyr or lich will die after 2 attack :/ Also one more thing - if we use Avenging storm from scroll or uniqe helmet it will proc WotW nice and we can ko whole screen in 1 attack :D

As far as i know there are some skills that skip defense check: Some of them are quite nice and not overpowered 1 Minoletta's Minor Missiles 2 Thrust Of Tattered Veils but there are 2 skills that are absolute devastating: Arcane Cleanse Probably most dangerous enemy spells for some builds. It remove all benefit effect from spells and potions, and there is no way to avoid it. If enemy start to cast it, even if we run far away, spell will hit us anyway. I'm not sure if this is intended, but in POE 2 when enemy will aim player character, spells will seek for him, but if player use same spell it affect only terrain of cast, when enemy leave casting circle, he won't be hit. If we use characters with Prevent death spell/potion, this is the only thing that can take us down in whole game, since arcane dumper can be resisted. Resonant Touch Blunderbuss make 4 hits. Dual BB full attack make 8hit. If we use Whisper of The Wind when there are more than 2 enemies, it can trigger more than 20 of hits. Resonant touch deal around 27dmg for 1 hit. All crazy HP enemies like Nemnok, Kraken, Lava Dragon will go for 1 shot if cast proerly. What do You guys think, those skill should be nerfed?
  5. ok after some other test i have noticed few things: SPOILER ALERT 1 Resonant touch is quite bugged - PL do not affect damage, even when it's displayed - no difference from desription 27dmg and 55dmg. Still it can take down everything if hit around 10 times before 2 Hand mortar affect Avenging Storm - so Whispers if the Wind with 2 hand mortars can make some funny effect. Also it seems that Staff aoe do not proc AS 3 Whispers if the Wind do not require any reload speed, so it's possible to spam it since after 1 attack we are invisible for around 2 sec. Just tested with area full of enemies - 2 skill use and whole screen ko. 4 Whispers if the Wind is fastest way to obtain some weapon skills like the one from red hand, that is buged anyway (display +12%dmg and +2,+2,+2...) So blunderbusses monk is legit, walking god that do not need to do anything special to win any fight. Dragons in poe 2 are jokes, but for example Lich cave - i use Whispers if the Wind and accidently Lich was down after second use. Most overpowered char to play, still quite funny
  6. Nothing new here, but i noticed that dual BB monk with his last tier skill can take down whole screen in 1 shot. Also resonant touch proc from bb quite nice - 1 full attack is 8 hit in total. Lets say we make poor dmg like 1-2 dmg per pellet - 8hit proc RT for 8hit for crazy dmg that cannot be resisted. Just tested - dragon 2x full attack from stunning blow = 16 hit, after 1 RT=die. I will post screen later
  7. potion of shield (yelow one) scaling with alchemy PL, so we can get more than 20 AR in total:D

  9. 1 Swimming - the one at the desert - sometimes when we click on swim option, nothing happen :/ 2 Swimming - the one in the cave from ocarina quest - same as above 3 SPOILER Potion + 1stat bug - sometimes even if we translate scripts from witch, we cannot make potion, just check it - 1 save from one char it was ok, second save from other char was bugged :/ SPOILER END 4 When we Play Priest/Paladin some class favoured dialoge options are not showed - i always choose class specific options and still get like 2 poionts in dissfavoured behaviour Invisibility is quite annoying - there are like 2-3 fights in game, where casting invisibility do not stop whole encounter. Any other = casting invisibility make fight over, after a few sec we start it again without any boost that we make before, also our skill won't reset, so we loose some of skill usage. Also - smoke screen rogue skill will over if we do anything while invisibility, Arkemyr spell allow us to do any non offensive action, the tier 9 rogue skill allow to do anything for few sec - is that intentional ? Last one - during ship fight casting invisibility during the fight will make encounter over, even if enemy pirates won't loose single units:/ We go to choose reward window and there is nothing to pick. Sorry for my english, i'm not native speaker.
  10. The most funny in my opinion are druid spells. Hurricane and avenging storm - two main dmg spells from druid high tier 8-9 have scroll version, making solo druid far weaker than multiclass :/

Meteor swarm scroll version make fire/crush damage, and overall it make ~100 % more dmg per meteor (around 2x more than wizzard spell) - it can take down every single enemy in game per 1 cast :/ Spell comparison: level 20 wizzard 20 arcana skill Even if we use +10 enchant for mage spell, its still far from scroll, not to mention that we can get + 5 or more to arcana easy https://ibb.co/mdigUd
  12. I made some min max testing, and here are the final stats: Assasin/Monk (Hel) scroll dmg : https://ibb.co/kTuq4d Boss type enemy 1 hit: https://ibb.co/gZU9VJ All with pure in game items/ stats. Scroll are most devastated damage source. Since the ingredients are quite easy to find at vendor shops, we can get like 20 tornado scroll around lvl 10. 1 hit from stealth, and second cast fast after that (+recovery time from stealth) = fight over for 95% of fight, incuding boss :/
  13. i tested this bomber idea, and it's for sure most powerfull build if made corectly. There are some bugs - last tier rogue skill invisibility attack is different from other invisibilities - we have around 10 sec of nonbreakable invisibility = around 2-3 bomb drop, which one can make even more than 200 dmg. In my opinion best multiclass are cipher and priest of skaen. Cipher multi give us +20 def/accuracy that stack with assasination = +45 accuracy, not to mention that we have some cipher powers. Priest of skaen give us +2 uses of invisibility (total around 7 uses per fight), +2 final blow +some nice def spells and healing. Invisibility break most of damage dealing speals (storm of holu fire break invisibility each time meteor hit), but shining beacon dot from tier 4 make powerfull dmg, and if cast from stealth, we can dissapear fast and watch the whole world burn Definitely one of the most fun game build, overpowered hard :D Also assasination work with spells, so minoletta missels that require 5 skill point can 1hit ko most of enemies ...
  14. In my opinion best dragon killer is stag horn scroll, 10-15 is enogh for every dragon, and every class can use them.

  16. there are only few spells, that we can obtain only via level up, rest are learnable from books, so we do not need to respec to gain all spells.
  17. There are 3 things that i have observed with this armor: 1 Triggered immunity heal our char, so when he get dmg, health bar can jump from red to full green. I don't know if this is intended 2 When used on monk, when triggered immunity time will be over, we no longer gain wounds, observed this many times, it happen especially in some hard, long battle :/ 3 Noticed just now - if we wear Ryona's Bresteplatem and later replace it with something else, Triggered immunity still occur O_o
  18. Yup it's is, especially when we get to 50% of life since it will raise battle forge dmg. From start to midgame it's probably the best one, but later In my opion the better one is soul armor for monk, since monks get +15 to hit, when stuck often, not to mention triggered immunity.
  19. I tested Aumaua Monk - vs lesser enemies he is stronger, vs hard fight like surrounded by mercenery at lich castle or magrana folks godlike seems better. Retaliation from armor/helm with 10 scars give around 10 dmg, from godlike battle forge even 80-90. so godlike seems better choice. But i tested some other weapon build - monk fist + spear cladhaliath stun/20%stund dmg seems AWSOME XD Torment reach affect stun effect, so when enemies are in line, we can stunn all of them in every full attack. Monk fist make immense dmg, sometimes around 130 with fist, so one torment rach will give us arround 200dmg - it's better than rogue lol. So we can control group of enemies, we do super high dmg, we are very durable - i take down all ogres on stalward map with monk on potd, and still have more than 50% of life, and we are very fast. Monk seems to be much better than it look like :D

Hmm it sounds nice when we play rogue with party, but when i play solo, this skill seems broken - when we go prone fight will be over, and before we get all of our attack skill back, fight will start again, and we loose our main adventage. Or maybe i just did not test it too much ? Anyway rogue seems to be a good choice for solo in 3.03 Edit - just test this skill solo - broken :/
  21. You should write a guide, how you did it with each class and so on. Would be interesting. As i said, the best for me is druid so: First dragon rule - staedfast to avoid their aura, all possible food, condition as hight as possible to survive breath, healing boots from dunstan shop (alpine+sky), boots of speed (adra+dual). Alpine dragon - most powerfull, but easy to glitch - just as i wrote, stay north from the blights, than cast stag horn spell to take out dragon, if spectre notice your char, cast insect plague on them, but cast it as far for character as pissible, to avoid hitting blights. Sky dragon - in my opinion the most nasty dragon - cast paralise from scroll, cast spell, repeat, wear boot of speed to run as fast as you can, to cast paralise. Adra dragon - snake to adragan, storm them, if all adragans are down, fight is super easy due to slow adra dragon speed Dual dragon - dominate flying one, cast insect plague to take out trash mobs. The most important is to wear boot of speed, so the acid dragon won't reach us when we cast spells on him. Lich - stunning wave lv 4 spell, than stag carnage - easy. In my opinion the most difficult fight in this place is wand mage - wand are quite low health so 3-4 lvl 4 hail storm should be enough, but we need to summon something to distract them. Eyeless trap - go east to stay in cornr to fight only one at once. At the begining summon something, to gain some time Radiant spore + withracks - go east as possible, to avoid most of the tenacle - if done correctly only 2 tenacle will attack you. Then cast stunning wave to stun withraks cipher, and cast hail storm from scrolls - 15 of them should take down everything including radiant spore Magrana folks - cast all posible venombloom before fight, then aproach them, then run, cast stunning wave and when you cast all of them, they should be dead. Still it's very hard and need some luck Pirate Brynlord - the most difficult bounty - dominate is a key to win WareStealgar from Galavin altar - stay west, take out stealgar first, rest is quite medicore Also Overwhelming wave and venombloom attack fortitude so we can take out enemy even when they get deflection+reflex bug, that i get when i fight mercs from lich castle Paladin - Before every hard battle cast potion +25 deflection/20reflex and +20all def scroll, and later just stay and cast spell from scroll + sacred immolation, our defense are so high, that most of the enemys can't hit us. Chanter - run with boots of speed and watch how the world is burning :D Cipher - well cipher seems to be the weakest class from all in terms of defences and offensive spells, but ability to very fast casting dominate will give us interesting possibility (especially in bounties)
  22. I just explained how i take out alpine dragon, and dual dragon, and every question that someone asked me here until now. What's the point of bragging abouth something if you don't read the answers?
  23. Anyway thanks for this build, it inspired me to make my own monk. Now i'm lvl 15 and monk take out everything so easy on potd, that it's just impossible xD I use onnly fist and with torment rach it deals around 120 dmg 1shot lol. Also i think that in Endgame power the ammanua should be little beter, beacause he get overal better might, and can use helm, so we can get retaliation from helmet and shield (stack) + fire shield potion combined with that berserk skill plate(overall + 6might - 4frenzy/2ammanua comparing to godlike), so before we reach 50% of healt, most of the enemys should be death. I will see how it work when i get to lich castle.
  24. hmm i just notice that in 3.02 there is a small problem with gloves you use here. it sometimes just behave as not equiped, and do not add raw dmg. To avoid problem we need to just put them out and down every time, before fight, but i forgot that often and it's somehow annoying:/
  25. Can you describe the tactics used with each of the classes you mentioned against the alpine dragon? And videos are just tutorials - a picture is worth a thousand words - it has nothing to do with being some superhero. PS. Also you don't need to use a save of your TCS for videos - with the console you can create any character you want, with the items you need, teleport him to any area and kill any enemy you like... I did never use console for this game, don't see the reason to do that, also i have better things to do, that make console char just to put screen from fight that i already won around 10 times solo with almost all char. If you do not believe that someone could beat the game with druid that is your problem:) there is a glitch to alpine dragon fight, just stay surrounded by ice blights and he won't hit you. With high defenses blight won't hit you either. If You stay on the north, the spectres won't see you and you can cast stag horn on him until death. Also most fun alpine dragon char in my opinion is chanter. I call it benny hill tactics :D Just put +3speed boots and run circle with slash/burn chant :D dragon won't hit you cause you are faster and he will run after you, when chant slowly kill him xD Also for alpine dragon solo cleric is best in my opinion, he just rape him with his fire spells. But i did not solo potd cleric, cause he sux at start :/ As for dual dragon the key to victory is ring with dominate spell, and we can dominate flying one, so ther one and xuartrip will take him down, When he is out, just take out other dragon from distance. Alse if we use that shield from dying monk quest and have def around 120, sorcerrer's orb spell from xuartrip should be retailed and they just kill themselves xD
