  2. I've been able to play through with relatively high humanity with both clans -of course Brujah does not have the issue you mentioned- and the "giving in" is more along the lines of becoming like a Nosferatu - a beast that should not be seen by the common humans. Gangrels do have the tendency to go berserk more often, depending on what powers you use, but if you figure out how to play them you can manage those. If you do decide to play one, I'll talk to a friend, who only plays as clan Gangrel, for some pointers and post those.
  3. 21 Century (Digital Boy) - Bad Religion
  4. I have yet to buy MotB, but it sounds like they did make it more mature than the original campaign.
  5. Well, Gangrels can be interesting to play -although I don't really like them either-, and it is hard to find a clan that can beat either one in a hand-to-hand brawl. If you ever did want to run through using only your fists, one of those two clans would be the one to choose.
  6. What clan are you playing this time round? I just finished up a game with a Malk, and I might run through with either a Brujah or a Toreador soon.
  7. I'm playing Brawl at the moment, although that has been paused while I get a paper done and attend classes...
  8. Unless the CPU is soldered into the motherboard, it should be able to be upgraded - and you can find some nice deals out there. It helps that the C2D I have is the newer generation, so the socket it uses is the same as higher clocked CPUs (and the board itself can take up to a 2.4 or 2.6 C2D - I would, of course, look up the specs before upgrading). I went with a Vostro 1500 from Dell, and I could not find a better deal out there at the time. You might want to look at the Vostro 1700, it is a 17" rather than a 15", but you can get a nice little laptop that can also game for under $900 if you wanted to save some money for, say, a desktop gaming PC.
  9. I have a low Ghz Core 2 Duo in my laptop and, with 2GB RAM and a 8600M, I can play the Orange Box games at 40-60 fps. The laptop was under $800, so if you might want to consider something similar - and you can always upgrade the CPU later if you need to.
  10. Hope you enjoy your new PC, it looks good!
  11. I didn't get it last night, but I'm going to pick-up my pre-order tomorrow.
  12. Half Life 2: Episode One
  13. You should be able to change it later.
  14. I am currently trying to complete the ****load of work I put off until the end of springbreak - something that ends on Monday. Oh well, if I get it done maybe I'll run out and get my copy of Brawl at midnight.
  15. When I tried to change to my Gmail it refused to switch - but that was awhile ago. Edit: nevermind, it switched this time - thanks for the heads up.
  16. *.ru is often used by spammers - what I am not sure about is why Gmail is barred.
  17. Nice set-up, but there are few thing I might change.
  18. Ok, here is what I could find out about it: Name: Pentium Dual Core T2060 Specs: 1.6Ghz/533Mhz fsb/1MB L2 Cache. Execute Disable Bit SpeedStep Socket: M It seems to be slightly less powerful than a Core 2 Duo, but more powerful than a Celeron chip - although it runs hotter than either of these. At first glance it seems like a T2050, but that has a 2MB cache - although some people speculate that the 2060 was a run of chips with one faulty L2 cache*. The problem with this theory is that Intel clearly lists the T2060 as a different family of processor, although it is based on the other's architecture, and the fact that the chips preform differently when running. It is also noteworthy that Intel does make a 2MB L2 cache version of the chip, although this is fairly rare. *This screenshot shows a T2060 that has been identified as a T2050 with only 1MB of L2 Cache.
  19. Duel Core or Core 2 Duo? A 1.6 Ghz Core 2 Duo is not that bad (I have a 1.4 Ghz C2D in my laptop* and can play things like Bloodlines and Half Life 2 Episode 2 at decent frame rates (on average I get between 40 and 60 FPS with everything except motion blur turned on when I do the Orange Box video stress test). A 2.0 Ghz would have been better, but that would have been another $130, and I didn't have a lot to spend at the time - although I guess I could always upgrade later, Dells seem relatively friendly to that. *It does have a faster bus speed than the original C2Ds however, so that might be another thing to look at.
  20. But Wals wouldn't lead his followers astray...
  21. I'm trying to get Jane's USAF running on my Vista laptop and playing Bloodlines.
  22. I would go with the brands Gfted1 mentioned...
