  2. Yeah, a bright orange Gremlin is kind of conspicuous. Another two people have been arrested in connection with the shootings, one of whom is recovering in a guarded UVA hospital room after he, or she, pulled a gun on the SWAT team sent to present the warrant. Two of the individuals are under twenty-one (nineteen and sixteen), and the police and FBI are now looking at older, unsolved shootings to see if the weapon matches the one used.
  3. Only if I think his posts warrant it - otherwise I'm ok with him.
  4. Go on, color the world with the hues of your madness.
  5. Almost no coverage, sadly. Although the DMV site might have had some monitoring. The elementary, middle, and high schools were closed - but the colleges remained open. Thanks.
  6. Last night, well, I guess that, technically, it would be early this morning, several occupied vehicles on Interstate 64 were fired upon by one or more unknown persons. Normally I would not get too upset about this sort of thing, I mean, no one was seriously injured, but in this case the actual event was fairly close to where I live
  7. You can get a very nice Alienware for that price, and that is the company I would go with if I were to buy a pre-built gaming PC.
  8. No, it should be in a voluntary philosophy or religious studies class, not a science class.
  9. I have a list of laptop display drivers, should I post it here or in another thread?
  10. No, but the system does seem to be running better after the installation - and it seems, so far, that only Steam apps. are affected by the decreased frame-rate. Maybe Valve will patch the engine.
  11. It might simply be a sever problem somewhere in-between you and the Obsidian hosting.
  12. Yeah, I guess you're right. It was the game with the Canadian Bear-man and the Flying Purple Hippo .
  13. I cannot see anything wrong with that statement at the moment.
  14. Bach. I'm not sure if I have posted in this thread - but that really doesn't matter. I did not care for the game myself, but I've never been a FF fan.
  15. I never had that much trouble with the Friendly Arm Inn assassin either, but then again I usually backstapped him and retreated until the guards calmed down. Getting back on topic, the names of some of the Age of Mythology Pharaohs was annoying - for instance I once got the mighty Pharaoh "Bubba Joe," and yes I can post a screenshot of that if needed*. *Although not tonight, I would have to find the right back-up disk first.
  16. Are you talking to me, or were you explaining to Walkerman?
  17. Well, I guess that it's funnier if you know the backstory - I'll try to find a good summery.
  18. I know they are not the same, but I thought I would put a disclaimer anyways.
  19. Another interesting note is that my Vista score actually went up after installing SP1 - although the main score on my laptop did not increase due to the CPU bottleneck, but I can always upgrade that later.
  20. Nevermind, I can see on your user-bar that you are using it.
  21. Now, I'm not trying to attack Christians with this posting, but this story was simply too funny to keep to myself. First, the original posting from Pharyngula:
  22. Humm... Have you tried using the Windows Wireless Manager?
  23. Sometimes connecting and reconnecting helps, that's the first thing I would try.
  24. Check your signal, that sounds exactly like a weak wireless connection.
  25. No, the FPS rate is still quite fine - and the change is only about 1-5, still I would like to know if the Beta drivers are to blame*. *It might also be the fact that the drivers are meant for an almost identical laptop, the 1520, but do not specifically say they work with the Vostro 1500.
