Culpa Innata and NWN I - I bought Diamond but was affected by the duplicate CD-key issue, so at the moment I've only installed the premium modules over an installation of platinum and fired off an e-mail to tech support about the problem (I need multiple copies -well, really only CD-keys but those come with copies- for a LAN game).

If money is an issue, try looking for an older model that could hold you over until you can upgrade - it may not be the best part but it's still better than nothing. You might also want to make sure the hard-drives are ok, as when my BIOs went it wiped out the boot sector of both C and D - although that was fixed by getting a friend to do a quick replacement of the missing items.
Well, you could see if the chip itself can be replaced - but it might be better, and easier, to get a new motherboard. In my case the PC was going to be retired soon anyways, so I just savaged what I could and disposed of the bad part.
I agree, I think the only true good ending is the one where you kill the AI - but that and the aforementioned one are still both better than the wishgiver options, hence the "good."
Yeah, there are two "good" endings and about four of five "bad" ones - I'll write them up and post them in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. topic if you want to have them spoiled, or you could simply play the game again.
