Alienware PCs are nice, but only get one if you do not want to build your own system - otherwise you would be wasting your money. As for the multi-core and vista issues, they can all be taken care of via well known tweaks that have been mentioned numerous times on the forums.
Glad you got the problem fixed - although when I had a similar error I was able to cancel the installation and try again, something that made it install without issue.
Well, at the moment I'm doing a lot of side-quests that have prolonged the game, and I always try to keep the people alive that I am guarding (Why the hell do you, a civilian scientist, rush the hoard of zombies with a pistol when I have a shotgun and tons of ammunition?) and other things of that nature. I have also been LANing ever since exams finished - so that has taken a toll on my progress. But yeah, I think I'm addicted to this game at the moment, maybe a good hour or two of Bloodlines will cure it...
You need that if you're using that gun - I forget the name but remember that I quickly abandoned it in favor of slower-firing, but more accurate, weapons.
That would be about the only thing that could make me get GTA-4...
Well, I should have added that I dislike all "pay-for-play" MMORPGs and have yet to see any that I would pay a monthly fee to - but, yes, LotR-O is one of the better ones out there for those who like that sort of game.
