  1. As for how this began, our conversation stated because you were bashing homosexuals and then used religion as one of your reasons for doing so.

  2. "doesn't that scare you?"

No. In fact, as I said before, I would rather spend eternity in hell than subject myself to the will of your unjust god. I am more moral than your god and I will not surrender that for anything.

  3. Why do I not believe in god? Well, that is a fairly simple question to answer - there is absolutely no evidence to support that belief.

  4. " you acknowledging the existence of God is simply the first step."

Lulz... What the hell?! I never did that. Anyways, I'm going to move the topic to off-topic if you continue with your proselytizing -if only so I can properly quote you.

  5. Fear of god is a useless tool used by religions o keep the sheep in control - as is the concept of "sin." As for the move to off-topic, you are not the only Christain here.

  6. You really should - exbert and advanced are the way to play.
  7. I'm not sure exactly what you're trying to say, is this a comment or a question?
  8. I'm mainly playing BioShock and Assassin's Creed - although I am still a little miffed that the former requires an on-line activation (no installation limits though, and that's not a bad thing for I would not have bought the game if it still had them).
  9. Deus Ex, for those who do not know, can be played for free via GameTap.
  10. Lulz... If it's half as complicated -not that I disliked that- as the PC version it will tank on the console market.
  11. Nah, Vista's not that bad...
  12. Looks good - it should be able to run just about anything circa 2008 and beyond (as long as you turn down the settings on later things).
  13. Thanks. At the moment I'm trying to distract her and keep her thinking about other things -my sister has suffered some bouts of depression in the past and I'd hate to see that come back- by taking her shopping. Now, with me only about $50-$60 (and $20 of that is BioShock and Assassin's Creed, both games for me) lighter thanks to some great sales we found at Best Buy, I'm getting The Sims 2 installed and set up for her and my other sister. So far so good, although the major shock of something like this is usually delayed. Luckily I'm relatively close by and have almost nothing planned over the weekend... EDIT: Here's a website that has been set up as a temporary tribute to Alan and Naomi - just is case anyone wants to say anything to the friends or family.
  14. "1. It goes against nature."

    no evidence for that.

    "2. It's expensive."

Only if you live a certain way.

    "3. God says it's wrong."

Your god, even if it is real -something I doubt- is an immoral bastard anyway - why listen to him?

  15. The U.S. State Department reported/confirmed that they died... R.I.P.
  16. I found out one of my sister's friends and her father -the friend's father, just to clarify- might have died in the Mumbai terrorist attacks. At the moment they're missing and presumed injured (multiple witnesses saw them get shot, but it is not known where they are now or their current condition). This is from the press releases/e-mail notice she forwarded me, it was originally posted by the travel group they were with:
  17. So far it's better than either of those - although I'm only on the first level...
  18. Anyways, I've gotten exactly zero hours of sleep in the last twenty-four...
  19. "homosexuality is wrong because...

God says that it is wrong."

    Epic lulz there...

  20. You must be jesting! Quickly, see if hell has frozen over!
  21. Shryke, you're the energizer bunny of sex...
  22. True, but it is still not as bad as what I wish happens to him.
  23. They now have a patch to fix that issue.
  24. This is slightly off-topic, but didn't they only get charged with negligence and allowing him to die and not the act itself? Personally I would have charged them with more...
