  1. Yes I proposed the same thing, months ago. It should be face and cloth editor the similar to one that exists in Galaxies.
  2. Like for many other things in KOTOR.
  3. I hate HK-47. His humor is idiotic.
  4. At last another one who sees the light and wields real wisdom... :D I think they should release official mod that will fix all linear-related bugs. I hate leviathan bug too, but there are also people like Shin Ichiro who love simple and linear games and feel lost when game is too complicated and thus too intelligent.
  5. Kyle Katarn succumbed to the dark side when investigating ancient sith temple on planet Dromund Kaas. Mare Jade who later came to this planet met Kyle transformed into dark warrior, she was able to return him to the light. Then Kyle decided that Force is too dangerous for him to play and resigned from being a jedi.
  6. Maybe character just vowed to never use force again and lost experience? Like Kyle Katarn - in the beginning of Jedi Outcast he cannot use the force.
  7. Yeah you for sure don't know the EU (no offense). Tales of the Jedi presents these times as ancient and they are canon. If KOTOR contradicts canon then it's not part of a canon. And 5000 stupid fanfics about Revan will not change this.
  8. I am amazed both by bugs made by uneducated bioweniee devs and by blind faith that gamers put in that bugs. People try to understand that KOTOR originated from EU (which means that it should be rated by EU standards) and if you don't know EU just don't discuss. Canderous is a primitive macho and what he says is not always truth. Sith Empire disappeared during decades that followed Great Hyperspace War - 1000 years before KOTOR events. Exar Kun left some assassins and acolytes after he was defeated and they maybe corrupted Revan during Mandalorian War. But there wasn't any "sith empire" in KOTOR times (just like there's no title "darth" - it appeared 3000 years later) simply becouse Republic would destroy any official sith rule (before mandalorian war republic was strong enough to handle Exar's orphans and they were hiding) The word of devs is worthless compared to the official canon and better read some EU info before you post. At least Tales of the Jedi were designed by the best - like Tom Veitch and Kevin Anderson who is one of prominent american writers. A pity that they didn't took over KOTOR's storyline (cause then it would be better linked with EU and more ancient) and instead of them some bioware lackeys made it - the effects are pathetic (neverwinter nights clone + lack of real EU knowledge). Only graphics, music and NPCs development are superb. Rest is let's say moderate. I remember how Avellone was speculating about existence of the Sith Empire during KOTOR...no comment really but good that Anderson didn't hear that total nonsense. Is it so difficult to read those 6-7 comics and feel the climate of the ancient era instead of copying everything from the movies (from yoda to tie fighters)? Let's hope that KOTOR 3 will be made by Lucasarts and real EU specialists like James Luceno (who is for sure better author than all those bioware devs) will be in charge of the storyline. Eventually Lucasarts' Jedi Academy is more close to EU than KOTOR - just look at Korriban.
  9. GL will probably make a spin-off between EIII and EIV.
  10. If Coruscant is one of TSL locations is it any chance that it will have a look and climate of such ancient times? I hope that Coruscant will wary from 4000 year older Coruscant we know from the prequels not just copy superskyscrapers and air taxis...the greatest problem of KOTOR was it's modernity. 4000 years is same distance as between us and Ancient Egypt, yet in KOTOR everything was the same as in the movies ("sith fighters") and we felt no giant distance at all... So my question is similar to Darth Nuke's concern - continuity and logic! And of course I hope that Bastila will not be wasted like in part one.
  11. Same to you pal.
  12. Why not? KOTOR originated from TOTJ and everybody should know this classic series. And I think that Canderous was speaking about previous war (with exar kun) becouse in that war Mandalorians were fighting with the Republic and aiding the Sith. After the Great Sith War Mandalorians retreated to the Outer Rim, there rebuilded their forces and several decades later started the war that introduced Revan. And I hope that Krath will have some role in TSL storyline. This is probably most important secret society of that era...
  13. I think similar but what with pressure from Lucasarts? If Obsidian would have 2 years to develop this game instead of one, this game would be two times better.
  14. Read "Sith War" comic book. Exar Kun's right hand man Ulic Qel Droma came to mandalorian planet Kuar and in single combat duel defeated their leader Mandalore (who earlier demanded the duel). Then Mandalore sweared loyalty to Ulic and promised his aid in Sith conflict with the Republic. Mandalorians had most modern army in the galaxy by that time and this event fueled the sith potential greatly. The entire sith army of Exar Kun was comprised by: military machine of Empress Teta System, Mandalorians recruited by Qel Droma and millions of Masassi warriors that inhabited Yavin IV (they were remnants of original sith race and Exar Kun discovered them). With this army Ulic who was an excellent strategist, nearly conquered Coruscant and later eliminated most of Republic's armies. Republic prevailed but I won't tell how - buy this cheap comic on Amazon and find out...
  15. Amen PS KOTOR Fanatic do not discuss with monkeys please.
  16. Right! The first hours of KOTOR were great (I mean Taris) but later storyline sucked. the free choice of planet was unnecessary (and proved to be illusion)and on every world storyline was reduced to make 2 or 3 tasks to obtain stupid starmap. even NWN was more interesting in it's also linear plot (searching for creatures in Neverwinter quarters) I was expecting something more inventive. And now we have TSL with storyline copied from Return of the Jedi (last jedi, sith rule bla, bla, bla) - at least the team is million times better than bioware so we may yet experience something ORIGINAL
  17. I agree completely with KOTORFanatic. I also like Bastila but on the same basis that I like literature classic Anna Karenina - as a unreal artistic vision of charming young woman. And frankly nothing more. Just like I wouldn't want to see naked Anna Karenina I don't want to see Bastila in Playboy, that is let's say honestly magazine for lonely and alienated males. Besides there are many computer women with great bodies and what differs Bastila from them is her complex personality and emotional fight. Sadly most gamers are too primitive to see something more then just her boobs. So I also think THAT THIS IDIOTIC THREAD SHOULD BE CLOSED AT ONCE.
  18. Excuse me, are you quite normal Uthar001?
  19. This depends from point of view...
  20. That's Great City of Iziz on planet Onderon, my friend.
  21. Wow. Seems like deep conspiracy to me. My opinion is that LA should first release expansion disc for KOTOR 1 made by Obsidian (that would add 2 new taris-size planets and eventually also fix most of bugs like the one with bastila that is doomed to fall whatever you'll not do, or with malak leviathan fight etc) and later give you to develop KOTOR 2 TSL for 2006-2007 release That's why Neverwinter Nights is superior to KOTOR - this game is evolving it has a lot of mods and official expansions, second part will surely overshadow KOTOR 2. KOTOR series is a closed coffin. Part one gone gold and finished - no official expansions, no modding etc. Additionally Neverwinter Nights is more coherent to Forgotten Realms than KOTOR is to Star Wars. Bioware made more than many errors. I only mention unfortunate Naga Sadow tomb on Korriban.... I don't believe in hurry and despite I believe in guys that produced Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale I don't believe that you'll not make flaws in such fast-release pressure. KOTOR 1 was in production for 3 years and yet it has a lot of weaknesses. That's why I'm glad that PC version will go gold later.
  22. Yeah it's my favourite too. But starships are far superior to what we see in KOTOR.
  23. Uff posting all those pictures was exhausting! So what do you think about them people? How do you like Tales of the Jedi artistic vision of Ancient Galaxy? (they're on previous page if u don't know)
  24. Maybe Bindo was in charge of crashed jedi mission? You know he returned to the order gained rank of master and when sith assassins began to hunt jedi he gather a big group of jedis and try to escape then Sith send fleet to destroy them and during chase ship crashed on what we now know was Haruun Kal. Sith retreated convinced that Jedis died and they survived and during the milennia degenerated into Korunnai. This would explain why Korunnai varied in racial look: Mace was black but Chalk was tall, white and redhaired lass...
