  1. Are you a dev? It's not you that I asked.
  2. I hope so, although Exar Kun robbed the place 50 years ago and left nothing for us
  3. Bastila was most interesting but Jolee is number 2. And Jedi Council...they should be extinguish painfully. Just as former stripper Yuthura.
  4. Expensive? No. Less original.
  5. Man you are babbling now. It's the Lucasfilm that guards the continuity. They will never "change" anything cause they would lost any credibility in the eyes of fans. Fanpages and sourcebooks present authorized material approved by GL, and Gallo/Avellone and Bioweenies have to accept this or get lost. Lucasarts has big independence and they often do what they want simply becouse Lucas Licensing has no time to check everything out . And Bioware, well they are from the other field so hard to think that they just learn everything, only to make EU-correct game. Either you are an ignorant or a silly kid. If you don't sit in SW and you aren't a fan be quiet.
  6. Personally I like Carth and his image of tormented and sensitive, yet strong male. At last something different that batman or terminator nightmare.
  7. The words of Uthar Wynn suggested clearly that Naga Sadow died on Korriban. This is the impression you get from conversation with him. In his tomb there is sarcophagus, just like in other tombs, and all this Sadow thing is a typical mistake of a people that don't know Expanded Universe and yet make SW games. Argument that after Exar Kun romantic involvement were banned is stupid. Read the Redemption man. Convocation model was in use 10 years after Ossus' doom and worked well so idea with jedi council fools came from TPM (yodalike Vandar didn't tell you anything?) You say that maybe Bane wasn's first darth? Oh ypou mean that crappy living force-cularin thing made by WOTC when they were beginners in SW industry? Buy yourself Dark Side Sourcebook or enter Brotherhood of Sith homepage and enlight yourself. Title darth is the trademark of modern sith order (1000 years from darth bane to darth vader) and bioweenies(yes I think they are lazy fools if they didn't read source materials which was their duty) sucked that matter as well as others (like copying Neverwinter nights storyline) Besides its obvious that devs were looking more to the TPM than to the ancient era sourcebooks. In star wars boards every fan that knows EU will tell you that Bioware sucked with the vision of the jedi (not quivalent to the times) and with too modern look of ancient universe (KOTOR looks like Classic Trilogy contemporary with all that cybernetic implants and other non-ancient things)
  8. If Lucasfilm claims that Star WArs Universe has its own logic and everything is well-tied such bugs are important - unless you are a non-fan. Forgotten Realms fans would be enraged if some stupid programers show their beloved Elminster as mini-dragon or Orc. I'm star wars fan and using title "darth" before it even was born pisses me off.
  9. "The Valley I believe was KOTOR's truely only and Biggest continuity mistake. Though something tha will be looked over if KOTOR gets a comic or book." Don't forget that title "darth" didn't appeared before battle of Ruusan 1000 years before TPM. It became ceremonial title of the modern Sith to respect Darth Bane, only survivor of Ruusan and founder of the New Sith ("darth" was Bane's name) So Malak and Revan are simply Malak and Revan no "darth" with them. Naga Sadow died on Yavin so what's his tomb doing on Korriban? And there's no Jedi Council in so ancient times. Every master was independent and led his own school. Decisions were made by massive convocations (like that on Deneba or Exis Station) and only important rank was SPEAKER who guarded order during such convocations - Odan Urr later Nomi Sunrider. Jedi of that Era normally had wives husbands lovers and children. There were entire jedi bloodlines for example Ulic Qel Droma descended from long line of jedi knights after his mother. So Nomi Sunrider and her husband. So all that Bastila romance crap is most stupid thing after Leviathan's duel. Normally Bastila would be a virgin only if she existed during the Phantom Menace times. Let's say honestly devs sucked many matters in KOTOR with their false vision of the Jedi. Jedi in KOTOR are taken from Phantom Menace and that's wrong cause they should be portrayed according to EU material. Any of the bioweenies never read Tales of the Jedi Companion, Power of the Jedi and Dark Side Sourcebook.
  10. Krath were a secret darkside society. They were founded by Satal and Aleema Keto, heirs to the throne of the Empress Teta System. The name" Krath" they took from the demon that their caretakers were telling them tales about. They stolen artifacts from the Galactic Museum and later Freedon Nadd empowered the cult.
  11. Jedi Academy is more tied to EU and Jedi Tales than KOTOR. Not only Korriban in JA is ancient and same as in TOTJ - also the spirit of Marka Ragnos is identical as in the comic books, while Ajunta Pall looks like Revan's contemporary (his clothes are patheticaly modern-like everything in KOTOR). Last level of JA beats KOTOR's vision of Korriban completely. Onderon and Dxun are part of the JAPREAL SYSTEM. Empres Teta Sytem is a different thing (on the other edge of galaxy). I wonder why Lucasarts official site didn't mention in their KOTOR 2 site that Dxun lies in Japreal system (they say that its in Onderon system but that's wrong)
  12. Exactly nothing to add.
  13. *Sigh* non-fans.... Tales of the Jedi is a series of legendary comics from 1990s that for the first time explored Old Republic Era (long before GL made Phantom Menace). The series established entire setting and key events like fall of the Sith Empire, creation of Yavin Temples (that you can see in A New Hope), Great Sith War etc as well as added new places like Cinnagar, Arkania, Onderon, Dxun, Korriban, Ziost, Cathar, Ambria and new characters like Nomi Sunrider (greatest defender of the light before Luke Skywalker) Ulic Qel Droma, Exar Kun, Master Arca, King Ommin, Beastriders, Mandalorians, Freedon Nadd, Sylvar, Satal and Aleema. The Series is today graphically somehow obsolete but has still great storyline and great movie-like quotes. These are the chapters of the Tales of the Jedi: Golden Age of the Sith Fall of the Sith Empire Knights of the Old Republic Freedon Nadd Uprising Dark Lords of the Sith Sith War Redemption Bane of the Sith (short story) Tales of the Jedi Companion (RPG sourcebook that expands the setting) Satisfied?
  14. At last TOTJ fan! Welcome to the Club then! And thought that these comics are completely forgotten...
  15. Let's hope that February will be final date! I really want to see this game polished.
  16. I'm a great fan of Tales of the Jedi comics so Onderon's only choice
  17. Too bad, this means no better graphics & sound I'd prefer Intel P4 3.2 Ghz as recommended with 8 gb hard drive and other hi-tech stuff. Higher requirements mean that game is better.
  18. Bull**** man. Tibet is under communist control there's no jedi there. It's impossible.
  19. There are currently seven lightsaber styles and Vapaad is most powerful of them. Your question is wrong, you should ask what weapon is better.
  20. Not you aren't I want prequel clothes of Mace Windu, Obi-Wan etc and Tales of the Jedi classical ancient outfit (Ulic Qel Droma and Nomi Sunrider look great)
  21. Excellent analysis except for that part in which you're implying that I love Bastila. Man you think that I'm a total sicko? Liking some novel or game character doesn't mean that I automatically love him! Especially pixelated one. This means that I'm interested in further development of that favourite character. I like Kyle Katarn much more than Bastila. Will you say that I have a gay romance with him? Lool
  22. I was writing about this thousand times and don't know if it's wise to quote same thing endlessly but here it goes: "The duel with Malak is the most stupid part of any game ever. This guy didn't even SCRATCH me but devs forced his victory. Whole part of Leviathan is ridiculous - begining with capture of ebon hawk which was intended to be untouchable and ending on Bastila's ridiculous fight and blocked doors (sooo powerful Revan and cannot open door with his lightsaber?). Like devs didn't have any other ideas on that part of a game. The real fun would be a changing storyline: make capture by Leviathan accidental not determined, make killing Malak on the Leviathan POSSIBLE, make Bastila resist dark side under Malak possible and her defection optional. This wouldn't take much of game's memory and this is devs' BAD WILL that we have forceful linear storyline. Even fans could create a mod that will enable all these things - but we'd never get required original voice acting for such mod." So here's my question: will KOTOR 2 contain such linear bugs? Will players be slaves of forced storyline? I mean there is some scenario backbone but in KOTOR 1 were obvious situations that should be at least random. I consider that whole Leviathan-Bastila-Dark Side as biggest bug of modern RPGs ever. My opinion about the game radically changed after Leviathan and I want to know if KOTOR 2 is intended to have such bugs or not
  23. Childhood without Star Wars...terrible nightmare. Yuck!
  24. What do you think about my arguments, then?
  25. I agree COMPLETELY with topic's author. New characters look boring and I want to see old ones as my party in KOTOR 2.
