Internet connection: 50$/month Wii bought on eBay: 1000$ Having to replace a 42" LCD screen because of getting sweaty hands by playing with their Wii: Priceless.

QFT It's also one of the best First-Person Shooters ever made IMO. Why Starbreeze didn't have a major breakthrough in the industry after this gem is a totally unsolved mystery.

So who cooked, the mother or the babysitter?

Am I right in assuming that, except for a few of them, everyone's powers turned on at the same time? Also, I'm thinking Jessica is the one with the power, not Nikki. Oh and sorry for all my crap about Sylar and Hiro... :">

Apparently for us Canadian viewers (I'm looking at you astro!) Space is planning on doing the same. Both networks will be moving to 10pm Sundays. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> "

Canada Parliament recognizes Quebecers as a nation

Could very well be. But we can never go home. -
I'm at work. I'm leaving at lunch time to go listen to my first child's heart beat!

Star Wars is not drama in space like BSG is. SW is fantasy, barely Sci-Fi imo. And looking at the big picture, as much as I like BSG, I'd be surpised if it last for more than 4 seasons, for some important reasons you mentionned, most notably the trouble finding an audience which leads to lower ratings. Time will tell I suppose.

Canada Parliament recognizes Quebecers as a nation

Although it's lot more complicated then that, I completely agree. I consider myself Canadian first, living in one of its provinces. I get severely flamed on French-Canadian forums for saying this because a lot of Quebecers refer to Quebec as a country already, one of the reasons they want a voice in international debates. This is ridiculous as Quebec is not a country. If Quebec splits, first of all I'll be moving my family to Ottawa. Second, it will have two things going for it. First, Quebec is the most taxed state in the world and it has been said numerous times that this would not change. Intead of paying taxes to both governments(provincial and federal) we'd pay the same amount of taxes to one new federal government, The other thing it has going for it is water, which is also used for producing electricity that is exported everywhere in North America. I've also heard there are large diamond mines in the north, but those have been "given" the the natives a few years ago by Admiral Ackbar. I don't think Quebec's current situation is appropriate for splitting away from Canada and I honestly feel ashamed for living in a place that is a true burden for my country. I think it would be a great thing for Canada if Quebec splits, economically, but the implications of letting 7 million people fall in extreme poverty may prove problematic. Maybe we need to start searching for our promised land? " -

 ^I'm French Canadian(explains a lot, doesn't it?) and I found some comments here rather... insulting. But since this is a gaming forum and no caricatures have been posted(Chretien doesn't count!) I'll let this go... For a few months now, the conservatives have been very far behind in the polls in Quebec, with only 12% of possible votes. The Conservatives are a minority government in Canada right now and elections are coming that will decide the fate of Stephen Harper's leadership. In order to win and become a majority government, he needs Quebec's voters on his side, or at least as many as possible. So he makes a statement, organizes a vote that makes what everyone in the country already knew official, hoping to get some more votes when the time comes. This is a strategy to seduce Quebec voters, nothing more. Quebec doesn't have oil, no. We have water, a ressource that the US have been trying to grab for decades. We also use this water to provide a large group of Americans with electricity. ^_^ -
See, one of the reasons I could never get into SG-1 was that there were too many aliens and the whole thing was more like a dumbed down version of Star Trek. BSG is about the human condition, the human spirit and how these things react to extreme situations, how humans can find the will to go on, the human instinct for survival. BSG is about not pulling any punches, about showing how anyone could react facing their own race's extinction. Aliens have no place in this. I would accept aliens in BSG in only one instance and that is when they finally find Earth it is already inhabitted by other intelligent beings other than humans or Cylons and even that would be completely unnecessary. I would still watch it even if EJO would leave though and I would still give the show a chance if aliens were introduced. I wouldn't like this but I'd give it a chance.

Best Bond theme ever = Casino Royale

BSG is inspired by the news... I find it refreshing that with BSG, Sci-Fi is more serious. Maybe it will help the genre to get more serious recognition but I wouldn't bet on that right now. Besides, drama can be entertaining too. Even if it's in space. ^_^

Since the PS3 has been released and there is no more campings at Best Buy, does this thread need to be put to sleep?

What I understood from the book and the movie(they're the same) is that the bloodline would mean another Church entirely, another branch of christianity or something, like Catholiticism, Protestantism, etc and there would be, I guess, Jesusism or something. But the Church has built itself on the premise that Jesus is God or its son and Jesus having a family and descendants would debunk all of this, essentially destroying The Church. Meh.

What about conjoint twins, a boy and a girl?

Yes, slow. NWN2 is a lumbering elephant trying to go down one of those slides in a kiddy play park. Some flees go through but the rest of it bottlenecks at the top and just looks like a fat idiot. Engine-wise that is. Oh and you don't need over a 1000$ worth of machine upgrades to play Mario Cart at 30fps.
-
There's also an Anime remake.
-
I was disapointed by NWN2. It was big, slow, somewhat boring. Until I met Kelgar 2 days ago. (w00t)

I play Male. I tried playing female but for the same reasons that Seejai mentioned on the first page( I can't flirt with guys) I never can get "into" it... :D Even in KotOR 2 I wouldn't play a female, even if it meant passing up Disciple.
